    Keith was a pleasure to work with during the purchasing process, and Frank was honest and forthright during the sales process. The Finance liaison (I’m sorry I forget his name) was helpful and made ‘signing on the dotted line’ the easiest process I’ve encountered so far.

  • Deceptive or Incompetent

    I found a truck I was interested in: a 2016 GMC Sierra 2500HD with a service body. I was in touch with the dealer for about a week, when I noticed that new dealer incentives made the price of the truck very attractive. I sent another email to Amanda Duffy, who supposedly verified the price and asked me to come in as some rebates were to expire the following business day. I came in that same day, spent a couple of hours checking out the truck (and waiting), just to find out that the price of the truck is actually $8,000 more than advertised or verified. Their contention is that the price of the truck was correct, they just "forgot" to include the "upfitter" of the regular bed to service body. They would not honor the advertised price and declined to accept the responsibility for their omission and misrepresentations. Very disappointed. Will not shop there again. Beware...just because you verify the price does not guarantee that this would be the actual price of your new vehicle. Deceptive or incompetent....either way, I will not shop here again.

    I dealt with Amanda, Robert, Frank and Matt and the deal, the service, the follow up and the entire experience was absolutely first class from start to finish. I started with 9 dealers and when all was said and done O'Neill was victorious because of the way these people did business. Great job and great purchasing experience!

    I had a great and pleasant experience at your dealership. I dealt with Frank Raisman, who was professional, courteous, kept me updated on the status of my Yukon, and was a pleasure to deal with. I would definitely recommend going to Frank to my family and friends. When I am ready for a new truck, I plan on coming to O'Neil to purchase that truck through Frank.

    Everyone was very helpful and did their best to get us the right price with all the features we had hoped for. Walked in around 2pm and left with a new vehicle at 5:30pm.

    As I was shopping for a new truck, I worked with several local dealerships in order to find the right vehicle and price. Not only did O'Neil Buick GMC, go the extra mile to find the vehicle I wanted, the agreed price was significantly better than any of the other dealerships I visited. i intend to recommend O'Neil to any of my family, friends and associates if they are in the market for a new vehicle. The sales professional who I worked with, Brian Kimmey, was also outstanding to work with. brian listened to what I wanted and was able to deliver a vehicle that met all of my expectations.

    This experience was a great experience for me, Frank Raisman is awesome. I first went in to the dealership with the expectation that I would not get a car, I walked in everything was great Frank was great. I then took a couple of cars on a test drive and loved the Lacrosse. I did not think I would be able to afford the car. I left the dealer that night feeling a little unsure. Over the next few weeks my work schedule made me not be able to come back and purchase the vehicle, I honestly had forgot all about it and had given up on buying a car at all. About a week later Frank gave me a call and asked was I still interested, I went out on a limb and went in to again test drive the car. I fell in love again, I purchased the car the next day. If it wasn't for Frank reaching out to me a second time I would not have brought the car at all.

    After much research, including multiple visits to other dealerships, I feel confident that the price I paid for the vehicle I chose with all the optional features, was the best price. I found my salesman, Tom Wardle to be knowledgeable, personable, and patient. It was one week exactly between the time we first met and looked at vehicles and the time I actually bought the one I chose. In that week, we shared multiple phone calls to discuss pricing and features on a couple different cars. I would recommend O'Neil to any person who was shopping for a vehicle. The wife and I have decided that when we want to buy again; We'll be back.

    Your salesman Mike C could not have been more helpful. He went over all functions in the car in detail making sure I understood everything. You can tell he is very devoted and wants to make sure the customer is satisfied. I have not had that kind of service when I purchased my last car. Also everything was explained in detail by your financial person and was easy to understand.

    I could not be happier with the level of service from the entire O'Neil team, especially Keith S. His care for the safety of me and my family should be acknowledged. He is a model sales representative and emulates the professionalism that comes from the ownership and family atmosphere at O'Neil Buick/GMC. This dealership should be viewed as a model for other GM family of products. Customer safety and complete satisfaction is the main drive. Keep up the good work!

    This was by far my best buying experience in over 30 years of purchasing mostly new and a few used vehicles. After using both gmbuypower.com to locate vehicles in inventory and Costco Buying Service, I dealt with several New Jersey dealerships without success. One of them tried to tell me he sells Pontiac Vibes for invoice price and would not go down more than $300 in price. Others did not listen or did not understand when I told them what I wanted, answered questions I did not ask, and kept repeating what THEY wanted me to hear. I expanded my search into Pennsylvania and found three Vibes with the options and three different colors I liked at O'Neil Buick Pontiac GMC. I emailed a request for a quote on one of them and immediately received an automated reply acknowledging receipt of my request (it was after hours on a Saturday.) Then on Sunday I received a personal email from the Internet manager saying my request would be taken care of first thing on Monday. Those were the first two good signs after the communciations problems with the previous dealerships. On Monday I received a decent quote but explained that I was pre-approved for a loan, ready to buy, and if we could come to an agreement on price via Internet or phone I was willing to put down a deposit and drive to the dealership that evening. A short time later I received another quote that I considered excellent and accepted. The experience just kept getting better from there. A salesman contacted me to work out the details. It was like talking to a relative in the business - a really nice guy who was willing and able to answer all questions as well as offer advice. He was able to secure financing at a lower rate than my pre-approved bank rate and lower than my creidt union. . He told me if I wanted to bring down a vehicle for a trade-in appraisal I was welcome to do so with absolutely no obligation. I had planned to try to sell it privately but drove it down just to see what I'd be offerred. Later after arriving at the dealership I found a very relaxed atmosphere. They were much busier than any of the NJ dealerships I had visited (and this was a Monday evening) but I never felt rushed. My salesman was committed to my purchase, including showing me every feature on the car and setting up On-Star, which I had never used. He also took care of my possible trade-in. We negotiated what I considered a very fair price for it based on my Internet research. This dealership is family-owned and family-run and it shows. The owner was present, and I was imipressed when I observed other salespeople and customers and I realized that what I experienced is the norm there. (Based solely on my experiences I highly recommend my sales guy Frank Raisman) I have no real "Cons" to report. I may have felt a little uncomfortable after I rejected the idea of an extended warranty when it was explained by Frank and then the Business guy went through it all over again with some persistence, but it was NOT what you'd consider high-pressure. It felt more like he was determined to go over every advantage and answer all concerns. The next time I am in the market I will begin with O'Neil. I consider it well worth traveling the extra distance to deal with people like them.
    • When I wrote that one of the N.J. dealers said that he "sells Pontiac Vibes for invoice price and would not go down more than $300 in price" I meant to write that he said he normally sells them for MSRP and would not discount from list price more than $300.
