Imoral Business
by Ericdavid on 10/28/2017I would not recommend doing business with Tri State Auto Inc, Philadelphia, PA. This is a business with an immoral business practice model. This means that everything they do is legal, but very immoral to the consumers and comunity of the… Olney and West Oak lane. What they do is completely lie to a consumer about an approval. I have proof of this via video and text messages. They take as much of a down payment as you can provide. This is after they lie to you about a bank approval. Then they will have you sign legal documents basically saying you are renting the car pending a bank approval. How they make their money off of you is by saying that the bank needs additional documents. Here is the catch twenty-two. Its going to take the duration of what your down payment was. What this means is that they let you use the vehicle until you have exhausted the $500.00 restock fee and the 35 dollar a day vehicle usage fee, which will be paid via your down payment. Now in my personal opinion, I could be wrong but a dealership who has been doing business for almost two decades should know all of the required documents needed to finance or lease a vehicle in the state of Pennsylvania. Ironically, Tri State Auto Inc, of Philadelphia PA who has been doing business for well over nineteen years somehow did not know that you cant apply for a loan in Pennsylvania without a Pennsylvania state I.D. or drivers license. Me and my fiancé clearly moved hear with Georgia State I.D.s and drivers license, which is what they accepted from the moment we sat down with Millie to move forward with financing. Fast forward, so after having this vehicle for three weeks Tri State Auto Inc, of Philadelphia, PA regretted to inform me that the bank didnt want to move forward with the lease. The reason being of course that it took too long to gather the so called required documents. I fulfilled every requirement within a timely manner, but there were no intentions for a successful deal on Tri State Auto Incs part. In my opinion its a scam because with todays technology, you can determine a persons credit worth within a key strokes time. If I wasnt approved from the beginning then thats fine I accept that. What I cant accept is being deceived in the name of immorally business practice making thousands of dollars of my hard-earned money. Their business model in my opinion is to bleed low income area people of all the dollars they can enriching themselves off of your financial or credit situation. The first day they lied about an approval they asked me to write a review about my experience at Tri State Auto Inc of Philadelphia, PA. My experience has been horrible. I recently separated from the Navy. In 15 years of service, and havent had a horrific experience as much as I had at Tri State Auto Inc of Philadelphia, PA. Its so sad that I come back home after all these years of dedicated service to get beat out of a thousand dollars from a company thats probably been bleeding my community dry for the last two decades. No Justice. Eric D. Manigault
