This was the first time… I've ever bought a car myself, Dwayne, Rick, and Corey really made this experience great. by tradedcmax on 05/29/2015I went to them with a trade in, with expectations of meeting what I had found to be a fair trade in price based on my online research. They met my expected price. I also had received an online price for the new car, and they honored that… too. I drove the car home that day, with not so much as a glitch anywhere along the way. They did a great job, were honest, and everything was perfect. A couple of weeks later, we decided to trade in my wife's newer car, based on the IIHS recent problems with test results, and I could not get them to give me a reasonable price for my trade. The sales manager was supposed to get back to me, and didn't. I got ahold of him, and despite another attempt to get them to give me a realistic trade price, they did not even call me back. I was looking at buying at $43,000 car. And I could not even get a call back? Not even a courtesy call to say "Hey, no way" or whatever. Nothing. So I went down the road to another dealership (not Toyota), who offered me a decent trade price on her trade, which was what I was looking for, took the expected amount off of the new car (comparable to other dealers on same model), and so I gave them my business. They worked hard to get my business, the same way Team Toyota did the first time, but blew it completely the 2nd time. Sad for them, if the other dealer could see the value in my trade, and still take money off the new car, Team should have too. Their loss, my gain. I actually like her new car better than what we were looking at with Team.Venza

by smdamia on 08/28/2012updated 08/05/2025My husband and I bought a Toyota Sienna from Jim Dougherty at Carousel Toyota a few weeks ago. We had originally intended to just look, take a test drive and weigh our options on some different brands/models. We had put this off for a while… and one of the reasons is because our car buying experiences have typically consisted of a sales associate pressuring and hounding us. This is exactly the opposite of what happened at Carousel. From the very start, Jim was very down to earth, gave us the keys to a Toyota Sienna for a test-drive and stepped back so we could decide if we liked it. It turns out we loved it and felt that it would be a very practical car for our family. Jim sat down with us, went over our options and had everything laid out in front of him. I have to say, although quiet, Jim is really funny. Even the negotiating process was pleasant. What really impressed us though, was how Jim acted AFTER the sale. It was obvious his number one goal was for us to be completely happy and satified with our new purchase. He spent a good deal of time going over all of the bells and whistles and patiently answering our questions. He even called to follow up to see how we liked our new Sienna. We could not be happier with our experience with Jim - we kind of missed him when we left:)Excellent experience!

They were able to provide me with the exact vehicle that I was looking for. The entire staff made the purchase quick and easy for me. This is now the… 4th vehicle I've purchased from Carousel!
