Switched from 20 years of Fords to GMC at Autotown in Gladstone Oregon

Nabel is probably the most honest and straight forward salesman I have met. He has a consultive style and cares that you are getting the vehicle you want. I was offered all discounts and rebates without having to ask for each one by one. I received a fair price on my trade-in, with no haggling! Kelli is a great finance manager. Like Nabel, she is honest and answered all of my questions, even checking on finance options that were not traditional. She was also knowledgeable about warranty products and met other warranty bids for my business. I walked out of two other dealerships in the last 4 weeks, I’m glad I did so I could find the good folks at Autotown GMC. Thank you, both!     Jeff Garcia was great he made the drop of process very easy. He gave me an update on my vehicle right away, parts had to be ordered but I was able to pick my vehicle and will bring it back when parts are in.

    Secondly, the dealer lied and told me I was not eligible for a GMC Financing promotion even though the dealers website even listed the vehicle as being eligible. I did my research before coming in to the dealer. Both the GMC website and the dealer website stated the vehicle was eligible for the financing promotion. The salesman stated that I could not have the dealer advertised price with the financing promo. They tried to sign me up for 6.5 percent financing rate vs the promo of 2.9 percent. It wasn’t until I was ready to walk away from the deal that they decides to make it happen. Again, I feel the dealer was dishonest and lied to me. I do no appreciate the misrepresentation, lack of honest, or lack of transparency.

    Dropped off my truck for an oil change. The service tech got my truck in right away and got the work done quickly. I'll be back for future services.

    This is by far the best car lot I've been too. Tristan was very helpful and got me the truck I was looking for. It was the fifth dealership I went to that day and I can say that I'll be back if I'm looking to purchase another vehicle.

  • Dealership Okay-Experience varies with the Sales Person

    I initially had a good experience when I came in and talked to Betsy about getting my new Acadia. She was straight forward with the pricing and the discounts available. There was no haggling or hassle, but on the day of signing, I was told that I had to work with Josh. Josh comes across someone who likes to talk big but doesn't deliver. I signed the paperwork on March 31st and I was told that the car will be washed and detailed and cleaned as this was a new car, I did mention that I am in no hurry to drive it out, but Josh insisted that I come in next day to pick it up and he will take care of it personally. Next day I come in, the interiors have stains on the door handles and the car doesn't even look washed. To top it over I only got one key with my car (I was told the previous day I will have two keys), the second key was apparently lost and he needed to order a new one. To make up for it, Josh did add a full detail package on the car that I could do whenever I want to bring it in. I got a call from Josh on Thursday (5th April) that he found the second key and therefore I thought of bringing the car to the dealer to pick up the key and get my car detailed, Josh mentioned he will take care of the appointment and also provide a loaner car to me. It was all set for me to be taken care of on Monday (9th April). I come in on Monday morning only to find that Josh did not make any appointment with the service center for detailing my car and neither did he talk about a loaner car to be provided. I now had to do an appointment for another day as there are no slots available that day, which meant I had bring my car back again next day to do the Detailing. Betsy was a savior as she arranged everything with the service department and also took care of getting the loaner car too. She also filled up the fuel tank as a courtesy ( I stay 35 miles away from the dealership). My experience at this dealership was not at all good. These are basic customer service that is expected at any dealership, but unfortunately it was not provided. If it was not for Betsy helping out, I would have probably given 1 star. I believe the dealership themselves is good, but some elements in there leave a sour taste. I really hope things change in the future.

    The Service at Auto Town Buick GMC is Just Excellent.. Kris is a True Professional and makes getting my new GMC Truck Service Very Pleasurable but actually Fun too... Great People...Awesome Service... I would Highly recommend Auto Town Service ( And Sales ) to anyone that wants a Great Experience!! Thank You Kris for a Job well Done.. PS... I also Bought my New GMC Truck @ Auto Town.. Great Experience!!!

  • Too many problems after only 2 mos

    My husband and I bought our 06 Jeep Liberty from them on Sept 18th with an extended warranty plan. We were thinking it would be nice for down the road if any problems came up. What I didn't know was that they would sell us a vehicle that would start having issues within 2 months of owning it. On Nov 14th, we had to have it towed in and replace the water pump, which was covered under the warranty but still cost $200 from the deductible. Exactly two weeks later on Nov 28th, we had to have it towed BACK in to them only to find that this time the radiator has to be replaced and its NOT under the warranty so they want $500. After spending 11K on a vehicle after the fees and taxes, this is not something I expected to deal with so soon. To say I am disappointed and completely pissed off would be an understatement. I do not want to pay [non-permissible content removed] another dime, but I guess I have to in order to get my vehicle in working condition.
