  • Suburban Chevrolet Rocks!

5 out of 5 starsby Lrcharles on 09/19/2017
    updated 09/29/2017

Went in not thinking I could get into a new vehicle. Bad credit, not a lot of money to put down etc. Jason Cleary worked some magic and got me into a brand new Chevy Cruze!!! Extremely happy with my purchase!!!

  • ZERO INTEGRITY

    1 out of 5 starsby Matthew_Long on 02/16/2017

STAY AWAY FROM CLASSIC CHEVROLET!!!! Zero integrity and TERRIBLE business practices! They do NOT care about their customers! Absolute worst experience I've ever had at any business establishment. I inquired about a certain vehicle on Tuesday (2/14/17) to see if it was still available. It was, so the next morning I made an appointment to test drive it. After test driving it on Wednesday (2/15/17) I asked if I could take it to the mechanic to get it checked out on Thursday, because that was the soonest the mechanic could get it in to look it over. They agreed, so I showed up around 10:00am today (2/16/17) to take it to the mechanic. I said I shouldn't be gone for more than an hour and a half, two hours tops. After getting the car checked out, I decided I wanted to buy it. Called my wife and told her we'd get it. I returned to Classic Chevrolet just after 12:00 and they tell me that between the time I left this morning and the time I got back SOMEONE BOUGHT THE CAR! They said because I didn't put a deposit down on it the car was still technically available to anyone. And I do understand that, however no one said anything to me about putting a deposit down when I took it this morning. Had someone told me about putting a deposit down, I would have gladly done so. To me, and I would think to anyone else that has any ounce of integrity, what Classic Chevrolet just did is poor business and only goes to show they don't care about anybody or anything. All they care about is making a sale. All they had to do was tell that other person, "we have someone taking it to get it checked out and they'll be back in about an hour or so. If they decide not to buy it, then it's all yours!" BUT NO!!! They let me waste my own time, gas, and money (I spent $60 of my own money to get it looked at by the mechanic) and didn't even offer to reimburse me. I am completely appalled by how they are okay with doing that to a potential customer. I would advise anyone and everyone who reads this to stay away from Classic Chevrolet in Owasso. Integrity may not mean anything to some people, but it means everything to me. Classic Chevrolet showed their true colors today and I will never even think about doing business with them again.

  • Used car dealership sales.

1 out of 5 starsby SgtDrill on 09/27/2016

I dealt with the used car dealership on 9-27-2017. The salesman when told I was interested in purchasing one of their low cost cars they had online, asked how much cash do you have in a rather forward manner. He did not inquire what cars I had seen online nor what price range I was speaking about, just how much cash do you have. I found this so offensive that I went straight to their New Cars sales manager and explained what had happened. He was attentive and concerned, as where everyone I had contact with at the new car part. The manager even offered to take me to see the cars I had a list of. I declined. In summation I would say check out their new cars, but stay away from used car sale dept. I believe if you decide not to purchase a new car, that the new car salesman can still sell you a used. Please stay away from the used car section.

  • Felt rushed

    2 out of 5 starsby Gonzor26 on 08/15/2016

It was close to closing time and I just felt like I was being rushed to get the deal done, picked up the truck next day on empty I mean empty. Now I have to go to Bob Hurley and pay for keys that they said they had. Trash in the back of the truck I thought they would take it out. Sales team was nice while I was thinking of the deal but once I signed the papers they was totally different. You don't treat your customers that way. The sad thing is my wife is in the market for a car I even told my salesman this, but I think we will shop else where. Owasso ok

  • Refused to show stock

1 out of 5 starsby NeededVehicle on 07/11/2016

My husband and I were looking for an SUV under $5,000 to use as a dedicated Mail Route vehicle and after an extensive online search we saw that this place had a number of vehicles in our price range. So we drove to Owasso to go check them out but when we got to the lot and asked to see the specific vehicles I had pulled up on my phone, the salesman basically refused to show as any. He outright lied initially saying that they didn't have any on the lot st that price, and when I showed him the listings on my phone he said 'oh well those don't run and I don't think you would be interested in those'. When I asked him why they would have non running vehicles listed, that aren't listed "as is" or "non running", his story changed to 'well they do run but those are trade ins, and they have high mileage.' Now keep in mind, there were about 6 or 10 vehicles, all of which were listed with a price and several photographs. We know what issues we would encounter with vehicles in that price range, and we can do our own mechanic work; and we told the salesman that. He still refused to even show them to us. We will never go back to a dealership that refuses to even point us to a vehicle that they have listed, we will take our money to someone who actually wants it. Absolutely terrible service. One star rating only because I can't give it 0.

  • Bait and Switch

    1 out of 5 starsby DScott1970 on 07/07/2016

We saw inventory online and called to double check. After being placed on hold, we were told the car was in stock in the pre owned section. After getting there, we found the car was not there. The floor manager, Don was extremely rude. They tried to put my son in a car that was twice the price as the one we were looking at online. Classic advertises like they have a small town feel at their dealership, but I assure you they do not. This is not the first time we have experienced a bait and switch with this company.

  • buying a 2013 Cryze

    1 out of 5 starsby rachelp1 on 05/20/2016

I bought a 2013 Chevy Cruze from Classic Chevrolet In Owasso. It still had a lein against it for 3 to 4 months. They wouldn't issue more papers tags, it was always something. It took forever to get the lein release to get the tag and title. I test drove it for maybe a minute or so, I was thinking surely it would be o-k. (Seeing there were hardly any miles). Little did I know the next day when I drove it, it started having mechanical and transmission problems. They eventually told me it was a trade in that they got in that day, and they had just recieved the car in maybe a hour or so before. I have had several rentals and the problems havent been fixed. It has a warranty and they are still making me pay for them to even look at it. They are [non-permissible content removed] and they will do anything to take your money and screw a loyal customer over. My family and I will never be back. [non-permissible content removed]. Buyer beware. This is a horrible dealership.

  • Unscrupulous Sales tactic with Tyler Dodd

    1 out of 5 starsby Jimdavis5 on 04/02/2016

Preys on senior people who are on a fixed income, offering to buy their car, all in order to make a sale. In the end, we ended up with a higher monthly payment and less car.
  • 2015 Chevrolet Silverado Z71 4X4 Crew Cab

    4 out of 5 starsby Woodturner3088 on 03/22/2016

The Silverado z71 4X4 is one nice truck, from the luxury leather seats to the controls on the dash. Everything one sees is easy to understand. The My Touch radio system is great. Being able to control volume to answering a phone call without taking ones hands off the wheel. Fuel mileage is good 16.5 to 17.2 city. On a scale of 1 to 10 being the best I would give the silverado crew cab a strong 9.
  • Salesman

    5 out of 5 starsby Slvrfox2u on 02/20/2016

My salesman was Tyler Dodd. He went out of his way to get me the best deal he could. I just wanted to get a newer used truck but the deal I got was awesome. I was able to get a new truck with a little more money. I will go back again. I felt like I was appreciated and they wanted my business.
  • Great sales staff. Financing could have gone much smoother.

Good overall. Financing was rough and I almost told the finance director to come get the car and refund my down payment.

  • BAIT AND SWITCH

    1 out of 5 starsby JOHNM123 on 10/31/2015

I have been buying new pickups from Classic Chevrolet in Owasso Oklahoma since 1996. I have been very satisfied with each purchase until October 2015, I found myself caught up in misleading sales practices this dealership has been using recently on the local community. Classic Chevrolet Sale Manager makes phone calls to stating a customer (insurance company) they are working with is interested in buying my exiting vehicle for a very good price. Classic Chevrolet Sale Manager stated they would like to meet as soon as possible to discuss offer. Classic Chevrolet Sale Manager offered a new vehicle (located at a Missouri Chevrolet lot) similar to my existing vehicle for very reasonable cost. Classic Chevrolet Sale Manager stated the deal must be done quickly or their customer (insurance company) would buy someone else’s vehicle and the offer would be retracted. Classic Chevrolet Sale Manager insists paper work including finical must be done immediately in order to lock in this deal with the customer (insurance company). A few days later, when the Classic Chevrolet Sale Manager tried to deliver to me, a previously unseen new vehicle that turnout to be a stripped down version of my original vehicle (no back seat, no cruise control, no keyless entry). When I complained to the Classic Chevrolet Sale Manager about the bait-and-switch and deceptive sales practices, the Classic Chevrolet Sale Manager states it’s my fault for not knowing what the Classic Chevrolet Sale Manager had failed to mention. Classic Chevrolet Sale Manager stated there nothing I could do to get out of the deal. The Classic Chevrolet Sale Manager stated my original vehicle had already been sold and was gone. When I refused to take delivery of the new vehicle, until it meets my minimum requirements based on options that were on my original vehicle (back seat, cruise control, keyless entry). The Classic Chevrolet Sale Manager refused and stated that I had no choice except to drive the new vehicle off the Classic Chevrolet lot as is or the GM bank would take repossession of the new vehicle from the Classic Chevrolet lot, and I would have to walk back to my home (25 miles away, with no bus or taxi service available in the area). After I got home without the new vehicle, the boss of the Classic Chevrolet Sale Manager called on the phone and asked me to come back to Classic Chevrolet, he would return my original vehicle. My original vehicle really had not been sold or gone anywhere, my original vehicle had been stashed in the back lot of Classic Chevrolet the whole time. Since I have been venting at work with co-workers, friends, and with family members about the horrible experience I recently had at Classic Chevrolet, other co-workers started they also got the same phone call from Classic Chevrolet in Owasso.

  • Terrible

1 out of 5 starsby kenbird on 05/07/2015

I had a terrible experience. Do not buy from Dusty Davis. First, when he greeted me I told him specifically what I was looking for, he disregarded what I told him and tried to get me to buy every other vehicle on the lot, it wasn't until I got fed up and asked to speak with another sales person that he finally listened to me. I ended up buying but later on come to find out, I got ripped off pretty bad and I am now stuck in my vehicle basically until its paid off!
  • Dishonest [non-permissible content removed]

I don’t know that I’ve ever been treated worse than I was at Classic Chevrolet in Owasso on November 4, 2014. They were dishonest about the vehicle they were selling and became argumentative and confrontational when told we would not be purchasing it. After months of searching, my wife and I found the pre-owned Buick Enclave we had been looking for… there was only one problem, Classic is located in Owasso, six hours away from us. Despite the distance, if everything checked out on this vehicle we were more than willing to make the trip. We contacted a salesperson at Classic who was helpful and sent some pictures of the Enclave to us. After inspecting them, we noticed some minor scratches on the center console and steering wheel. It looked as if the previous owner had a dog that had done some minor damage. No big deal, we knew we were buying a used car and that’s part of it. Also concerning was the fact that after we pulled a carfax report, we noticed the car had been sold by the dealership two weeks prior and now was being relisted. We called to ask the salesperson about these issues. Our questions were simple: Was there any physical damage due to a pet? (scratches, tears, smell etc) and what was the reason the car was being relisted after being sold two weeks ago. He assured us, the car had no pet damage, was in great shape with only normal wear and tear. He also stated the reason the car had been returned was because of financing issues with the person who had initially purchased it. Those answers were good enough for us, so we let the sales person know we would be traveling overnight and would be there first thing in the morning to look at the vehicle. The next morning, I arrived at the dealership and the sales person who I had been speaking with wasn’t there yet. Another young sales person was more than happy to show the car. Right away, sitting in the Enclave was a disappointment; it smelled like an ashtray had been emptied on a wet dog. The sales person of course assured me the smell could be removed in 15 minutes. On the test drive I casually asked him about the car being relisted. Unaware of what the original sales person had told me, he let me know the car was returned because there was extensive interior damage from the previous owner’s pet. While the dealership had repaired the damage and the vehicle was in decent shape (outside of smell), at this point I didn’t feel comfortable purchasing from this dealer. I politely informed them I didn’t feel they were honest and upfront about the condition of the vehicle and I would not be purchasing it. Before I could exit the parking lot, the internet director waived me down. I rolled down my window, and to my disbelief, this man spent the next five minutes verbally berating me. He refused to believe that his salesperson misrepresented the vehicle. He acted so foolishly and with such a temper he refused to even give me his name. I left the dealership and called the General Manager who was apologetic. This was truly horrible experience with a dealer. I’m glad I live 6 hours away and will never have to see these individuals again.

Contacted them through internet. Called every morning till we actually showed up at dealership. Vehicle that we went to see, salesman said very little about. He did not go on demo with us. Probably because there was no profit margin in that one. When we came back, we spotted one that caught my friends interest. As well as the salesman. So into the office we went. Amazingly my friend was qualified for that exact vehicle. This time the salesman went on demo. I stayed at dealership and looked up the vehicle on edmunds.com, as well as the dealerships website. i was aware of their asking price. They came back from demo, my friend wanted the vehicle, and it showed. We had been looking for so long and finally found the one. They discussed payments, down payments, and trade-in. Not once was the price mentioned. I asked the price and was told that finance would take care of that. So what they were telling us was $2000 for trade $289-$379 a month for 72 mos. But no price! Finally a price $18995. We got up and started leaving and i mumbled the online price of 14985. They all of a sudden down to that price, but insisted on using their financing. Why does it matter where the money comes from? Unless their inflating their profit. We left in vehicle to eat and decided to take keys back and leave. I took keys in and my friend went to the car. I was met by one salesman inside, while another was at my friends window and two others were blocking me from getting into my side of the car. I called and complained the next day and was told they would get back to me. Still waiting to hear from them!!!!!!!!!!!!

Made multiple promises thru E-mail and over the phone, even knew what my credit was like when promises were made. When we got to the dealership they changed everything and didnt keep any of the deals they had made. They kept us waiting for almost three hours even after repeated request for the return of my keys to my possible trade in. Then they began harassing me as if I was the one who waisted all thier time. I wouldnt buy anything from them even if they were giving it away. They were rude and they lied to me repeatedly. Save yourself a lot of trouble and dont go there.
