Customer Reviews of Jeff Wyler Nissan Fairfield
Review type:
Great car, great people, great experience
by C_W_ on 07/20/2014We primarily worked with Harold. He was extremely helpful and friendly, even going out of his way to help us, giving us his cell phone number and encouraging us to call him at any point with questions or concerns. He was not pushy,… manipulative, condescending, or intimidating (like the majority of salesmen from other dealerships that we worked with previously). The price of the car (and all the features) brought us into the dealership, and our experience with Harold and his team served to confirm in our minds that we had made the correct choice in both car and care.Wonderful as Always!
by T_Rasool on 06/29/2014Wonderful as Always!! I went in for my oil change and as always the service was excellent, quick, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. I always work with Jake R who is very helpful to me and a pleasure to deal with. This time I also… worked with Delton C who was also very helpful and went out of his way to make sure that my car was clean, dry, and ready to go very quickly! I truly appreciate the service that I receive at Jeff Wyler Nissan and would highly recommend their services to anyone! Thank you Jake for always being so pleasant and helpful! Thank you Delton for also being very pleasant and helpful! I look forward to seeing you both again soon!! Tamica RGreat Experience!!!!!
by foldog22 on 11/06/2010I recently purchased a 2011 Nissan Maxima from Mario Hood at Jeff Wyler Fairfield. He took great care of me and I appreciate all he did. I did nearly everything over the internet and via phone, I would highly recommended this method. I did… a lot of research on the car going in and what I should expect to pay for the vehicle. Mario's first offer was the best offer that I have seen across the country. I gladly accepted w/o a counter. I negotiated my trade-in prior to showing up at the dealer also, so as long as there were not any surprises, I would get what we spoke about on the trade (I would have your trade appraised by multiple dealers prior, which I did, so I knew what it was worth in the area.) Once I showed up I never felt any type of pressure from him or the F&I guy at the end of the sale. Mario did offer the Paint & Interior Protection prior to me coming in, which I declined. In the F&I office, the Finance Manager offered GAP insurance and I declined and he went on. After all of that Mario took his time showing me all I wanted to know about the car and how to use it.Beware with this dealer's Used Cars!
by vale007 on 07/27/2009If you purchase from a dealer is because you trust you're buying an inspected and good-condition used vehicle. Otherwise you would buy cheaper from a buy here pay here or a private seller. This dealer does not even change the oil on… their cars, so forget about an inspection. If you are considering a used car from Jeff Wyler, have the car inspected by an independet party prior to purchase. Their warranty is powertrain only and will not cover anything. We purchased a car and the NEXT DAY the check engine light came one. The whole exhasut system is shut. The oil is burnt beyond imagination and the air filter is the original one (in a 05 SUV). They will not do anything about it and were extremely rude and unhelpful. Perhaps their new car division is different, but neware of their used cars. It's been a nightmare. Beware!!!New car buying at Jeff Wyler
by connie15 on 12/03/2008updated 04/03/2009After this experience I will definitely go back and recommend to friends to buy here. I told them my name the first time and thereafter each time I came to the dealer they greeted me by name and I felt like I was really welcome. As a… single female buyer I never felt threatened or dictated to or guided in any direction I didn't want to go. A goal seemed to be to develop a trust relationship. I was asked what was most important for me in a car and we worked from there. I had been recommended by a friend and they frequently asked about her. I would highly recommend people to give them a chance to see what they can offer at the dealership. Harold McPeek is a very kind individual that at no time did I feel pressured to make any choice. The follow up phone calls were low key with my time always on the forefront. Since my purchase I continue to feel as if I had a great experience in what is a major life expense. True concern for the buyers needs is evident in all conversations.Great Experience!
by dpeterson0503 on 12/05/2008updated 04/03/2009I had worked with several dealers both in Dayton and Cincinnati as well as their respective Internet Sales reps and Mandy was BY FAR the best I worked with. She has a very fun personality and was great to work with. I especially… appreciated the emailing back and forth and phone calls to help make as much progress as possible before I drove the hour to Cincy from Dayton. Being in sales myself, I understand the importance of trying to earn business from a client, and Mandy absolutely earned my business and I look forward to purchasing another Nissan from her years from now! Have and will continue to recommend her to those I talk with. Jeff Wyler just gained a new customer! My New 2009 CTS!!!!
by WandaMcD on 12/17/2008updated 04/03/2009After inquiring about the Cadillac CTS via the internet, I was contacted by Harold McPeek within a few hours. He answered some of my questions over the phone and invited me in for a test drive. I was not able to get to the dealership… until about a week later but Harold called me again to see if I still wanted to come in. I did finally make it to the dealership and was immediately impressed with the professionalism of Harold McPeek, who promptly introduced me to the Finance Manager Selwyn Brown. They both offered to work with me to try and get me into a new CTS at a price and car payment I could afford. My visit to the dealership was on a Friday night and that following Monday night, I was driving my new CTS off the lot!! These two gentlemen were very helpful, pleasant and cordial and I love them both for helping me get the car that I have wanted for the last three years. Jeff Wyler Fairfield and these two guys ROCK!!!!A Pleasant experience purchasing a DTS.
by rroberdeaux on 12/22/2008updated 04/03/2009Wow, I couldn't believe how low key, respectful, and informative a car buying experience could be until I encounterred Harold McPeek and his internet team. From the time I registered on line and received timely feed back to the day I drove… my beautiful DTS off the lot I was treated as a valuable customer with the utmost respect. Every time I had a question, Harold McPeek would seek out the answer if he didn't already know it and give me timely feedback. The pricing of both the new DTS and my trade was more than fair and was in range of what I expected. This was in contrast to dealings with another dealer that was "lowballing" my trade and not discounting the DTs as I expected. All the other personnel I came in contact with at the dealership from the general manager to the paper work closer treated me with the utmost respect and courtesy as aa valuable customer. Harold McPeek took the time to explain all the dashboard functions and how they might be a little different than my 05 Deville [DTS] that I also purchased from JEFF WYLER CADILLAC. The DTS was delivered as promised and as orderred. I have been purchasing new automobiles since 1957 of which 90 percent have been GM line makes. This has been without a doubt the most pleasant exreience. HAPPY HOLIDAYSJeff Wyler Cadillac
by conniemarie5 on 01/26/2009updated 04/03/2009We just purchased our second Cadillac CTS. Harol McPeek was our salesperson. We did the majority of our research and communication via the internet and email. Harold responded promptly and answered all of our questions in detail. When… we decided to test drive the CTS, he had 2 ready when my husband arrived. We continued our price negotiations via email and with a final phone call, the deal was made. We are very happy with our experience and look forward to working with them in the future. What a great deal!
by ajhope on 08/01/2007updated 04/03/2009After being frustrated at another Kia dealer with a high price for the 2007 Kia Rio LX and a low trade for my aging Mazda, I contacted the internet sales team at Jeff Wyler Kia in Fairfield, OH. Not only were they prompt in getting back to… me, they give me a *fantastic* price on the Rio and also doubled the trade over that of the other dealership I visited. The finance terms offered were generous which helped to seal the deal. Visiting the dealership was a great experience. The sales staff knew their stuff and answered my questions without having to defer to other staff members. The sales director cut through the usual sales chatter and asked what it would take to win our business. We stated our terms and he came back promptly with an offer we could not refuse. All the while, my wife and I did not feel pressured to make an immediate purchase (unlike at the other place!) and we were treated with courtesy and as valued customers at all times. When we signed the finance paperwork on Saturday, the finance director did not try and pressure sell any add-ons - he just explained our options and then left us for a few minutes to discuss the options in private. The paperwork was completed in 30 minutes and my new car was waiting for me to drive away. Truly great service from a great team! When it comes time to replace my wife's car, Jeff Wyler Kia will be my first call. A great dealership and a great product are hard things to find these days. In a tough competative sales world, Jeff Wyler Kia is a shining example of how new car sales should be done! All others - take note and learn. No respect
by okeedokey on 08/12/2007updated 04/03/2009I spent several days trying to communicate with their "internet manager" and get a solid quote, with no luck. I wanted to test drive a car so I decided to stop by anyway with my sister (two girls, no men). Big mistake. As soon as I arrived… I asked for the internet representatives I'd been communicating with, they apologized for not replying to my latest email. The test drive went fine, except that salesman invited himself along for the ride. When we got back, I wanted to find out what inventory was available in the area and how long it would take them to get the car I wanted to their dealership. The salesman left me and my sister waiting for a long time, then came back with a sheet working out the price and the financing. I stopped him short and asked if that was my quote, he said it was the MSRP. This run around game continued as they tried to engage me in haggling, or just tried to rip me off, and I was just trying to leave. The sales rep told me I owed the manager the "common courtesy" of speaking to him before I left. The sales manager openly mocked my request for an internet price, fed me lines about how hard working they all were and how cruel I was for answering the question "What's your price" with the response "Less than invoice." All along I made it very clear how knowledgable I was on the process and it only made them resort to guilt-tripping. On top of it all, they never really listened to what I was requesting and never were able to identify an actual vehicle in the area they could sell to me-- they were trying to sell me numbers on a paper. All in all, it was a very unpleasant experience that would have left me very belittled had I not been doing so much research on Edmunds.com.Great Experience
by rachel_betsy on 11/11/2008updated 04/03/2009I guess they must have fired the internet sales person from the last review because my experience was very different. Mandy got me a quote by email very quickly and scheduled a test drive the same day. The email quote was a pretty good… price. The sales people were friendly and not pushy in the test drive. When we went to leave to make a comparison with the car across the street they did offer us an even better price. Since we had already been doing our research, liked their car better, and were planning on buying a car that weekend anyway we went with their offer but I don't get the impression that they would have insulted us or gotten rude if we had decided to walk away. They threw in dinner for my husband and I, didn't hard sell us on extras like extended warranty, and generally made the process as painless as possible.Great dealer to work with
by cincyguy4 on 11/13/2008updated 04/03/2009I would highly recommend this dealer to anyone. It was by far the best experience I have ever had with any dealer. The salesman was pleasant and helpful, he did not give us the high pressure sales pitch that you get at so many dealers these… days. The sale was treated more like a business transaction instead of a high pressure hustle. I have had some scheduled maintenance done and their service department has been just as pleasant to deal with. Overall they run a top notch operation.Great Experience
by mattranson on 11/17/2008updated 04/03/2009My wife and I were out furniture shopping on a nice Saturday afternoon when we noticed our daughter had fallen asleep in the backseat. We both knew it would be the perfect time to look at all the new vehicles out from the luxury car… companies. Our leased vehicle wasn't due to be turned in for another six months but we always love to look at what's new. After exploring for an hour and being told that nobody could get us out of a lease that early, we pulled into the Cadillac dealer to look at the new CTS and Escalade models. After only a few minutes of browsing and test driving, we found ourselves sitting in the sales manger office discussing how we could go home that night with a $75,000 Escalade. The salesman, sales manager, and financing manager were all eager to answer any and all questions that we asked about our purchase. This is the first positive experience I have ever had at a dealership and now know where to go in the future. They went the extra mile for us
by seankerns on 11/22/2008updated 04/03/2009Chet Navey and his managers as well as the finance department did a great job of working with us both on the price of our new car and the trade value of our old car, and they also went the extra mile to help us locate the model we wanted… with the options we wanted, even though it ended up being all the way down in North Carolina. Not an easy task, as we had very specific needs, and we're at the end of the model year. The only slight gripe I had with the process was that it was very expensive to get the car from NC, but I don't blame Chet or Jeff Wyler Fairfield Nissan for that.excellent customer service
by ran4quiet on 11/04/2013updated 08/05/2025I purchased a Kia Soul last year and Duke H. was not the primary salesperson but he answered my questions with clarity and honesty which greatly helped me purchase the vehicle when the primary salesman was not available. Due to a major… accident, I returned to this dealer to replace the vehicle that I bought last year. Obviously, I was in a difficult situation and I knew that Duke would be the perfect sales person. He offers------experience-----knowledge of the product--------willingness to serve all the specific personal details of the customer-----efficiency-----very important listening skills and compassionate kindness. I have not purchased a car on my own before but I knew that I could ask any question of Duke and receive clear and grounded answers. He is trustworthy and I felt secure that he wanted to be absolutely sure that all my needs were met. Also, he clearly has a good working relationship with the other associates at this dealership. At present, he is going above and beyond to facilitate the necessary details in designing a vinyl wrap for my new Kia Soul! I am grateful to Duke and to the manager, Doug and to each employee for their excellent service. My daughter recently purchased a vehicle from this dealership and we both will continue to recommend them. I asked Duke how to comment on his excellence and I am grateful for the opportunity.Love my new Juke!
by vickilrose on 06/11/2013updated 08/05/2025This is my first Nissan and my first experience with a Jeff Wyler dealership, but probably won't be my last. Harold M. was great to work with and went out of his way to help me from the moment he knew I was looking for a new car. He made… sure the entire process was easy and convenient for me and that I ended up with exactly what I wanted. He actually spent more time with me after the sale than before. He not only demonstrated all of the cool features of my new Juke, he also gave me a tour of the dealership and service department and introduced me to people I may need to know later. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking to buy a new car.Kia service
by ilikecandy1 on 05/27/2013updated 08/05/2025My Kia vehicle was service in a timely manner and my service advisor Margie was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Thanks Kia for doing a wonderful job.Robinml
by robinml on 11/28/2012updated 08/05/2025When my husband and I met Chet N., we weren't really looking to purchase a new car, but Chet listened to our needs and made our unexpected purchase very pleasant. I will tell all family member and friends to go see Chet when looking for a… new car.Great Salesman
by fishbrannon on 02/26/2014updated 08/05/2025My, My. What a wonderful sales rep you have in Blake. He was very considerate and knowledgeable about any car not just a kia. My husband and I enjoyed talking with Blake during the down time in leasing a new car. He was such a great young… man. We were wanting to just check out cars today but ended up leasing a Kia Sorento thanks to him. You have a real gem on your sales team.Excellent Service! Will be back!
by dsbmfranks on 02/12/2014updated 08/05/2025Bernard was very helpful from the very beginning. He knew we were in Dayton and that it would take a minute to get to his location, but was still readily available and patient. He was confident that we would be driving home in a car that we… liked, and did not stop until he made that happen. Bernard's a very professional person, but doesn't have that "I'm a sales person, I have to follow this script, and sell you whatever I can" type of attitude, like you find at a lot of dealerships. We do plan to get another vehicle with a trade-in, and will be more than happy to bring our business back to Jeff Wyler. Thanks, Bernard, you rock!!! We love our new car!!
