    I shopped like a madman. Lots of emails, several phone calls and more than a couple store visits. Summit beat everyone, hands down. My salesman, Mike, was quick to respond, informative and highly knowledgeable about the product and programs. My expectations were exceeded at Summit.

    As an engineer, I've been accused of being too analytical (mostly by my husband). I spent a lot of time researching Vehicles before deciding on the Highlander. I spent even more reaching out to dealers from Cleveland to Columbus. Shannon Swinehart at Summit not only answered all of my questions, she got me the price that I wanted without headache or hassle. I made the drive and found everything as I had hoped it would be. I love my Highlander and would highly recommend Shannon and Summit.

    I had a verbal contract with John Heslep of a price we negotiated on a vehicle I was going to buy. Went back a week later to have the vehicle inspected by my mechanic which was $100. Went back to the dealership after my inspection to purchase the car and John informed me that price of the car was now $700 more then what he told me. This did not include tax, title, or fees. He tried to negotiate a new price higher then what he originally told me after our verbal contract. I will never go back to Summit Toyota of Akron. Don't lie and deceive the people you keep you in business. Very poor work ethic!!

    Please do your homework before visiting this dealership & have printouts of the deal you expect to get, otherwise you will get Ripped off like I did.

    I called and spoke to a Mr. Treadway at Summit. He told me 'the system' was down and that it should be back up and running same day and would call me back. That was a week ago, with no call back. I was in the process of turning in a lease and converting to a purchase vehicle (my second). I emailed Summit. No response. Whatever happened to customer service? Sadly disappointed.

    First of all, I am somewhat ashamed at how I was "taken in " on this deal. I had purchased a Honda Accord from a different Montrose Dealership which turned out to be a lemon. I went to Montrose Toyota Akron for considerations and traded for a Lexus SUV. Now, 6 months later, it is worth half the value I paid for it. I also returned home the day I bought it to find out the front brakes were bad. Buyer beware !!!!

    I am working in Iraq with USAF [War zone]. I fouad a car for my wife in PA. I live chat with the saleman. We agreed to the price. Please see a copy of conversation. Me: [2:35:37 PM] Give me 30 min. I will contact you but please, please, I will not pay one dollar more than $11K. So don't let me go for nothing please Saleman: [2:36:22 PM] 11k plus the tax,title and fees correct? Me: [2:38:37 PM] No, 11K + tax only. I will register the car in PA. No dearler fee. No documentain fee. No any other dealers exp under any name [Saleman: 2:42:34 PM] Okay Adel head on down to the MWR and give my sales manager a call again the number is [violative content deleted] he will have to speak with you so you two can finalize this deal. After that, I walked two miles to reach a phone. The price jumped to 12,155 without tax. BIG [violative content deleted]

    be careful with these guys, 2 years ago i came here to purchase a vehicle and got scewed up. i came the with 5000$ for downpayment but my money they put for warranty and all other crap that i even didn't know about. bank financed me 15000 that in 5.5 years it will be 19000. be careful when you by don't be stupid like me.

    We bought a Sienna at Montrose Toyota in June. Garrett was our salesman. We started the process with one of the "get a quote online" places (probably here at Edmunds.com) We had been looking at Siennas for months. Garrett was very patient with us, and helped us get the van we wanted at a fair price. There was one point of miscommunication about who would get the rebate dollars, but that was resolved quickly. We are looking for another car now and Montrose Toyota is a place we would buy from again.

    Toyota is fine brand, but Montrose is just another car dealer. We discovered a chipped windshield on the trip home after closing the deal. We called them with an hour after leaving the lot to let them know. Since we live over 2 hours away, they told us to have it fixed close to where we live, and to send them bill. After sending them the bill, they reimbursed us for less than half of what it cost us. They also failed to send us the Certified Warranty info for over two months after we asked for it. Overall, they're just another dealer that's nothing more than mediocre.

    2010 Toyota Corolla purchased 2/23/13 Painless experience - great deall....in and out in less than 2 hours! Stephen R. was our sales rep and he was very knowledgeable about the car. Thanks so much, GREAT experience, highly recommended. Drove down to Akron from Cleveland...worth the drive!!

    I cannot recommend Big Al and Shannon at Summit Toyota enough! I spent a lot of time looking and had some pretty specific needs (includting help with my credit). Shannon, Al and Bill K. not only helped me find the right vehicle, they made sure that it was affordable for me and my family, while treating me with both kindess and respect.
