by ftimm91 on 05/17/2024Terry Labonte Chevrolet was great to work with overall and I would strongly recommend them to friends and family. TLDR: Great friendly staff, low pressure, fair pricing, very transparent, super easy to work with. We were looking for a… very specifically optioned car which wound up with a cross country search. The staff at Terry Labonte Chevrolet were great to work with. The receptionist was always quick to answer and get me connected. Everyone was great about returning calls even though I work weird hours. We worked with Cody in sales, who was amazing. He kept it a very low pressure sale, was super responsive to text/email coordinating a trade in and offers from out of state, and was great about getting me documents. This was the first time I’ve ever had a trade and sale cross country, but they made the process as simple as possible. We were able to get much of the process started and coordinated ahead of time before I drove in to save me time at the dealership. (This was the first time I’ve bought a car from a dealership and didn’t miss a meal.) Pricing was very competitive. Most of the country was running the vehicle we purchased at msrp, they had a small discount below msrp. In this crazy post Covid car market, anything off feels like a small victory. I hate surprises, especially with pricing on cars. The price we negotiated was the same price and deal sheet when I came into the dealer. They were very transparent about pricing, and no crazy mandatory add ons to jack up the price. Jay in finance was very easy to work with. He was able to beat my bank’s loan rate (that was below market) and I was able to get a discount for using the dealership’s arranged financing. The online application was easy to use and sent to numerous places with a single application. Very easy overall. Jay was also great at helping with the title transfer out of state and new registration. We wanted an optional accessory that I completely forgot about until I had wrapped everything up (that’s on me). The people in the parts department were very nice, easy to work with, had a very easy ordering process, and were able to ship the accessory to my home so I didn’t need to come back. (This is the only place I didn’t spend enough time to remember the young lady’s name, but was also fantastic.) From step one the process was super easy, very transparent, and would happily use this dealership again. I’m nobody special, but it felt like a VIP experience from start to finish. I would happily buy from Terry Labonte Chevrolet in the futureFtimm91, we strive for 100% satisfaction, and it is great to see you had such a positive experience at Terry Labonte Chevrolet. They don’t honor what they say and write!

Just got off the phone with Jimmy Soto. He hung up on me after being EXTREMELY unprofessional and rude. I called being very polite to try and work this out in a professional manner. I asked for his bosses name and he refused to give me this information, said I wouldn’t get a penny out of them, and then hung up on me.

Dishonest?
by Brian OConnell on 06/18/2020Has a 2008 Santa Fe listed on website with 23K miles. Wow! Great mileage for age of car, so we drive down to tests drive it since they just 'reduced' the price from $15K to $7800 in May. Based on that mileage info which is everywhere,… even they're own dealer description, Edmund's says it is a great deal at $1500K under retail. Well, after test drive, wife is handed CarFax report, and daughter double checks odometer, 139K miles on it. That's more than a typo, and salesman hung his head after she called him on it and showed him the website where it is listing only 23K miles. So is that being dishonest?
