by tomxbanks on 01/16/2018Lied to by multiple sales men. Didn't notice body work until I got home. Was told the car was in tip top shape, no accidents. The salesmen lied. Don't go here to get a Hyundai.New tires

He was patient, listened, and answered all our questions. I highly… recommend him as he has strong work ethics and integrity. When I'm ready to purchase another Hyundai, I will visit Hyundai of Asheville again. Thanks Jarren and the team!Stay away from Asheville Hyundai ealership
by 2015experience on 02/01/2016My housband who passed away recently, had leased a car, from this dealership. I had the worst time ever, trying to return the car back, at the worst time of my life. They gave me the run around, for 2 weeks +. If you are from… Asheville area, and want a Hyundai, Hendersonville is the place to go. Stay away from the Asheville. dealership.Bill Hill the GSM will lie to you!
by Liedtome on 10/30/2015I purchased a new vehicle in Sept. I drove it home and then noticed body damage. I notified the dealership immediately. They said "no problem, bring it by and we will take care of it". I brought it by......after 2 months of setting appt.… and broken promises my car is not repaired. I was informed today by Bill Hill the GSM that he will not repair the car because he got a bad review from the lender from me. Go somewhere else people to buy a car because after the sale you are done in there eyes. In fact, I was told "the bank has funded me so I do not feel obligated". Those are Mr. Hills words!Ask for the invoice
by ShrewdDude on 02/15/2015After days of negotiating, we finally sat at the dealership for the bottom and and to see the invoice. At first they would not show it to us, and made all sorts of excuses about where the invoice was, and that the person with the invoice… was busy... Finally when we wouldn't budge on the price, they magically produced an invoice. The invoice they provided us was NOT the official invoice-it was one they generated themselves. When I tried to take it with me, as it was obviously a print out, they would not give it to me. Be wary and do your homework before visiting these guys.Just be careful buying there; ensure you look elsewhere
by whatfuture on 07/14/2014updated 08/01/2014Y'all should know the truth about BBB Accreditation and it's relevant to Hyundai of Asheville. I used to (as in as of learning the truth), check businesses on BBB. This just ended after a long life of respecting them. Hyundai of Asheville… is accredited. They pay to be accredited. The scales (to me) appear in BBB's (therefore the business') favor. You decide for yourself. Also, I suggest you research dealerships outside our small, lovely city. One Hyundai dealership may be in competition with the few other brands we have but there's no competition with another Hyundai dealership within convenient miles of your home. I moved from populated cities in the North and this gave a little better balance to getting a better deal and responses. http://business.time.com/2013/03/19/why-the-better-business-bureau-should-give-itself-a-bad-grade/A [violative content deleted] BLANCHARD HYUNDAI IS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
by jarodhiggins on 12/21/2009This dealership is a [violative content deleted]!!!!!! I bought a used 2006 Acura TL from this dealership. My sales person Freddy was awesome, and that is about the only good part of my whole experience from them! First off they never… inspected my car when I bought it from them. Which meant that they had to send drivers to where I live now, which is in RI, 900 miles away one way to take my car back to NC to get it inspected!! Next my windows and all sorts of other things started to go wrong with the car! 3 months after I got it!! I was in contact with Eric The Sales Manager and told him about the problem I was having. After I got the estimate for the problems which cost me $170 out of my pocket, I called Eric The Sales Manager back becouse I was supposed to be reimbursed. Eric The Sales Manager never answeder my calls, called me back or anything after I tried to get ahold of him numerous times!!!!!!!! GARBAGE!! So I did what I thought was the next best thing and called the owner Rhett Blanchard. In this day and age you would figure dealerships would do whatever it takes to please people, but not this dealership!!! I left Rhett Blanchard messages and guess what, NO CALL BACK!!! THIS DEALERSHIP IS [violative content deleted]!!! NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE [violative content deleted]!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Horrible Businesspeople- Do not waste your time!
by minicooperfan on 09/12/2009My grandmother was interested in a used Mercedes wagon on the lot of Blanchard, and she asked them to hold the car for her. She asked if she needed to leave a deposit and was told no, but when she came back the next day the car was sold.… Being cooperative as usual, my grandmother asked if they could get any other mercedes wagons in stock, since she was looking for that specific car. Next, the dealership told her they had a car coming in, and it was an E320. They quoted her a price of $19xxx and told her it would be in in a couple of days. She waited almost a week and didnt hear much from the dealer so I decided to call. I was told it was an E500 4matic, and it was $26,900, but they didnt have it on the lot yet. I still do not understand how a car can magically change models overnight. So, my grandmother was still interested and went in the next day and was quoted a price of $21,488. At this point we were dealing with three separate prices for the same car. To make things more complicated, I checked online and the listed price was $19,400. I was quite frustrated with this mess of a price for a car, so I called in again today and was told it was now priced $23,900. I called the manager out on these price descrepencies, and he had no answer other than to yell at me and hang up. Is this a way to run a business? Save yourself, do not give Blanchard Hyundai your business. They are [violative content deleted] and lack even general knowledge of cars.Happy With My Purchase--Justin P Very Helpful!
by SybilA on 05/22/2014updated 08/02/2025Had been shopping around for an Elantra, and my purchase was easy. Justin was very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. by newcar68 on 12/22/2013updated 08/02/2025Traded in my current vehicle for new hyundai sonata. Justin was great. he was not pushy and helped put in the car I wanted. great experience overallAwful Experience...Blackmailing [non-permissible content removed] who do not stand behind their word
by HarleyDecker on 07/06/2013updated 08/02/2025I recently purchased a new vehicle from this dealership, much to my dismay. The salespeople were so full of drama and covert antics before I made I signed the papers that I should've taken it as a precursor of events to come. I agreed to… purchase the vehicle contingent upon them doing 3 things after the purchase, they agreed and I signed the papers. After I drove off that day I have never heard from them and when I contacted them concerned about when they would hold up their end of the deal I was ignored, blackmailed, and told "do you honestly think you are our only customer?" by Richard P., a salesman at this dealership. Charles B. another salesman there told me that the dealership would stand by their word and complete the items we agreed to prior to the sale, as long as I complete the Hyundai Survey and give them all 10's. I do believe that is blackmail. When I reported this to the financial advisor, Billy H(son of the owner/manager) he told me his salespeople were only looking out for his family! I ask then, who is looking out for me as the consumer?? This dealership took a momentous occasion in my life and ruined it with undue aggravation, stress, and worry. These people DO NOT STAND BEHIND A THING THEY SAY AFTER THE SALE!!!! I am ashamed for them and their very unprofessional and inappropriate behavior. Do yourself a favor and do not subject yourself to this dealerships unethical and poor behavior....BUY ELSEWHERE!Hyundai of Asheville

by bookwormync on 04/19/2014updated 08/02/2025I recently purchased a vehicle from Hyundai of Asheville and I must say that I had the best car buying experience ever. Justin P took the time to find out what I wanted and needed in a vehicle and found me exactly what I was looking for. He… also went to great lengths to go over every aspect of the car and answer all of my many questions which I really appreciated since I don't know much about cars. The dealership gave me a fair price for my trade and worked hard to get me a low interest rate. I am thankful for everyone there at Hyundai of Asheville and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new or used car. When you get there, ask for Justin P.......he is AWESOME!!!!!
About our dealership
I'm sorry you had that experience! I'm the other one here who agrees with enough of what you said through my own experience. What I've learned is many reviews are good when they might not be based on facts. A good review gets you treated better. I think I'm falling into the other side of the world because I'm (you and I) are atypical as we're telling what really happened. I've used BBB in many cases. I had to have looked at all the dealerships I visited. I saw Hyun. Asheville had BBB Accreditation and a superior grade. They got me, it was important so I went there, in part, because of this. I'll never fall for that again. I filed a complaint. While BBB must remain neutral, I felt they dealt with me rather unfairly because the standards they wanted me to use (I read their FAQs) did not apply to the business. So, I started reading a lot. There were and likely still are lawsuits against them for various reasons. (Remember, you can't trust everything you read ... - not all websites are "real" or reflect what they're writing. If a business is accredited, it means (I just learned) the business pays BBB money. There may be perks with that for the business. I can name an easy one - I thought that Accreditation meant they handled few complaints or were recognized as positive by BBB standards. NO ... it's not true at least now. What did they get? A sucker who bought from them. One last thing. I'm told it's easier to write a bad review rather than a good one. Maybe it's an old wives tale but I grew up with that thought. It's amazing after my experience how many good reviews there are. Quoting a number of salesmen now, "Bad reviews are often written by salesmen who have been fired." I am not a salesman and I can guess based on your writing, you are not too. Wish us luck :) !!!
