Dishonest Service
by Freddie H on 06/17/2024Salesman was very nice - but service department and Service Manager were not honest and not very helpful. The battery of my Acura needed to be replaced and although it was within the warranty - they refused to replace it. Even though their… website clearly states that their replacement battery includes a 100,000 mile (or 8 year 4 month warranty) - they did not seem to care. I had to pay $190 out of pocket to replace the battery that was supposed to be under warranty. My car has only 36,000 miles and it is 3 years old. I will be notifying Consumer Affairs and BBB. I will end with quote from their customer service agent, "We can talk about this for 4 hours - but the result will be the same - we will not replace your battery." Very nice way to do business.

Dan Rupp, his sales manager, did absolutely nothing to help resolve the situation.… Please shop around and do not trust the "nice guy". I drove over 60 miles because I liked the original experience and people ... never again!Mark Klang

by B Zaks on 09/12/2019Came to Acura of Ocean to look at 1 Y.O. Certified Pre-owned TLX. Was, as I always am, suspicious, nervous and cautions going to a car dealer to get a used car. Was matched up with Salesperson Mark Klang. Mark and Acura of Ocean turned out… to be a HUGE & PLEASANT SURPRISE. The car I was interested in was PERFECT for our family, and priced right at the start. The process was pleasant, professional, with no "Used car Games". After making a final deal, contract and financing with Justin (Manager) was flawless, and he got me better Interest Rate than I was expecting. It has been about a month now since the purchase. We are very happy with the car, there are no problems, car runs like NEW. I also needed a used car for my 21 y.o daughter, I called Mark, and they had a perfect 3 y.o. Civic. Looked brand new and drove Brand New. a day later.... same positive experience. My daughter is absolutely in love with the car. I recommend Acura of Ocean and Mark as a Salesperson to ALL.Very friendly
