AMAZING!!!

I had the best and most pleasant experience here at Open Road BMW of Edison! Not only do I absolutely LOVE my amazing new 230i Xdrive convertible but they gave me a fantastic deal! Thank you to everyone involved: Richard Johnson my knowledgeable and friendly Client Advisor, Jamal Sutton his flexible and fair Sales Manager, Eric Goldberg the experienced Finance Manager, and Emilio my Genius who explained the fantastic features on my spaceship of a vehicle! I would recommend anyone in the market for a BMW to Open Road BMW of Edison! Go see Richard!!

Long story short. Egor in sales left me 4 messages on my phone about a price reduction on an X5 Msport i was interested in. with a starting price of 52k. ..After Egor left me 4 voicemails (each time reducing the price of the car) stating they were willing to drop the cost to 48k. at that point i thought it was time to go talk to them. Egor and i went back and forth for a while but ended up ageing on an ALL INN cost of 46k for the X5... With a trade in value of my current car of 16k. (they were the ones to determine my cars value) Egor stepped out to see if they could make that happen... he walks back into the room and congratulates me "we can do that" (with a shake of the hand). After signing the contract i thought was what we agreed to... it turns out they altered my numbers a bit to make it seem like i was getting the car for 46k. Well No! the total amount i financed was 46k ! and further look into my contract shows they sold the car to me for $49,330 even more then the reduced price offered to me on voicemail. and $13,500 for trade in value. a $2500 difference then the agreed handshake stated. Pretty much they tricked me to sign the contract, the total they showed of 46k was actually the amount i was financing, on top of giving them my 16 thousand dollar trade inn. they sold me a 46 thousand dollar car, for 63k pretty much. After calling and expressing the issues i had they assured me they would handle it i had to wait to speak to the right person. that person never called me. every time i call to speak to someone i get transferred to a voice mail and no ever calls back

I brought my car to open BMW in Edison NJ on 11/26/14 to get the engine light fixed. They returned my car back on 12/11/14. I then took my car to motor vehicle for inspection on 12/13/14. The car failed because the check engine light and catalytic converter came back on. On 12/16/14 I took my car right back to Open Road BMW. Anthony from BMW called me to pick my car up because they couldn't fix the engine light. I brought my car back to motor vehicle to get proof that it was the check engine light problem. BMW had charged me $6,305.28. The first time they had my car for 2 weeks. I had charged $4,000 on one credit card and $2,305.28 on another. Since then they charged me $538 and another $2,299.33 a total of $9,990.32 On 8/20/15 I called BMW headquarters/Customer service 1-800-831-1117 to try to resolve this problem. I waited until 8/28/15 to hear back from them and they never called. On 8/28/15 I decided to exercise my First Amendment Right to protest against a multi-billion dollar company (BMW) at Open Road BMW 731 Rt. 1 South Edison, NJ 08817. Since then I've been there protesting from Mon-Sat 4pm until closing.

3 Series lease experience

Just got into a 2015 3 series lease. Highly recommend Open Road to everyone. Hao, my salesman, provided excellent service. He went above any beyond to get me into a lease that is within my budget. The staff is knowledgeable and very friendly. Bottom line if your thinking of getting a BMW definitely consider going to Open Road in Edison.

Exceptional Professionalism and Service !

I own 3 BMW vehicles X5, M3, and M5. I have gotten all three serviced from BMW in Edison. The service department is very knowledgeable and attentive to detail. In particular I personally want to thank Mr. Sandeep Singh at the service department. I had some issues with the SMG system in my M3 and tried to get it serviced at another private garage since the car was out of warrantee. I spent almost $2,000 for only to have the SAME problem come back 6 months later. Then I had the pleasure of meeting Sandeep Singh who Quoted me almost 1/3 of the cost and had my car in and out of the door in less than 48 hours. It has been 4 years and the car Runs Better than ever and I have not had ANY transmission issues with the M3. I have since gone to BMW in Edison for any and each small issue/ maintenance. Thanks Sandeep Singh! BMW of Edison should be thankfull to have such a knowledgably service advisor as Sandeep Singh.

I followed the service manager because I knew the kind of work his staff provided me at the old dealer. I took my chances by driving over an hour to have my car serviced by his new staff...well I am glad I made that choice. Jim Crowe never fails me. He assured me that my car was in good hands, along with the time frame of return, and more. Jim Crowe is truly and asset to a customer!!

Outstanding Service

I just spent significant money on service for a 5-series BMW that has 120,000 miles on it. Normally I would feel awful about that but I have to say this time, I did not. I attribute that to the level of attention I received from both Stephen Scofield and John Ladany in Open Road’s service department. They were outstanding. Not only did they inform me what service they were going to perform and why but also what I could expect in terms of timing and cost. I am confident that I did not get "taken" as I do with most BMW dealerships. I recommend BMW owners consider getting their vehicle serviced at Open Road no matter where they purchased it.

I own a 2008 335xi Coupe and have been a very satisfied customer of Open Road BMW of Edison for over 2 years. After switching away from two other sub-par dealerships, I was fortunate enough to have found this location. The service staff and technicians are very knowledgeable, customer-focused, friendly, and patient. They continuously go above and beyond in ensuring the utmost in customer satisfaction. I should also note that the Service Manager, Jim Crowe, is the best I have ever encountered. He is always willing to go the extra mile to meet my needs and understands the level of service that a BMW owner seeks. Thanks, Jim! I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone!
