Nice salesperson, rude manager
by TSG on 12/21/2024I visited this dealership from out of state for a very specific vehicle. It was nice and clean. Darnell the salesperson, was knowledgeable and amiable. My husband and I enjoyed working with him. When the price was calculated, I asked him… for a negotiation. I asked for $900 off and waiver of the $695 admin fee and offered cash. So, he went to his manager, who came in like a bull in a china shop. First the Manager's work up from the list price was a few hundred dollars higher than the salesman's. Then he started throwing around generalizations: "I can't take off $2000-3000." Mind you I didn't ask for that. He couldn't waive the admin fee because someone had to take the documents to the DMV, and there were third parties involved. Well, alright. So, the "unicorn" car, as he described it stayed, and I left. It was not a good experience. My prayer, "Lord, let me always be honest and respectful to those that I serve and come across."
