We just purchased a 2025 Kia Sportage and the experience was great. Our salesman John Carmer was the best, he wasn't pushy, was very organized, well mannered, he knew his cars. We've purchased a lot of cars over the years and the experience… was nothing compared to Gavey Kia. They are an excellent group of professionals there and we will continue our wonderful experience with them. Great job.

Great place to buy a car!

by PMB on 07/26/2022On June 16th I had a flat tire and drove 50 miles to take my Tiguan 2014 to Garvey VW dealership for service. I could have done this closer to my house, but I trusted Garvey and I had given them a 5-star review before. I trusted them… because two years ago I had a cooling system flush done at Prestige WV in Stamford Ct, and they forgot to replace a clamp on a radiator hose which resulted in sudden total loos of coolant on the highway at night. I had the car towed to Garvey and they told me what they found. That is why I trusted them. The Stamford service manager denied any responsibility. The car was attended to promptly, two tires were replaced and moved from the back to the front. I picked it up two days later. When I got home, my dashboard lit up with 7 warning yellow lights: tire pressure, traction control, steering, ABS brakes, head lights steering, air bag… all of which I learned are related to wheel speed sensors. I took the car back immediately. This time Garvey evaluated the car and said the problem had nothing to do with their repair, but if I was willing to pay 154$ for a diagnosis they could find out what was wrong with it. After the diagnosis work, they said that 2 speed sensors, one on a front wheel and one on a back wheel failed simultaneously, by an incredible coincidence with their work on all four wheels, but it had nothing to with it and it was sheer coincidence. The repair cost would be 1600 dollars. I objected to that conclusion, but I asked the service advisor to order the parts and fix the car. I completed the evaluation report emailed to me by the service manager and gave them a1-star review. My review was never published. After that my phone calls and messages to the dealership would not be answered or returned. If I asked for the service manager, I was transferred to the service advisor, who told me I was a disgruntled customer. Eventually, after complaining to VW US, the service manager called me, and I was able to pick up my car on July 21. My car was held for more than 5 weeks, the flat tire cost me 2000 dollars. I do not intend to go back there again. This was my second Tiguan and I love the car, but I will not buy a VW again; I do not have a dealership I can trust within 50 miles from my house.Perfect as always

He worked hard to make sure that everything went smoothly. Neither my husband nor I would trust anyone… else as much when purchasing a car. Eric & Garvey VW are the best.Made it easy!

He is wonderful to work with, never pressuring me into anything I don’t won’t as well as not jerking me around. I tell Claude what it… is I’m looking for, and he makes it happen. Most recently he had the car I wanted brought up from Long Island. He has checked in numerous times since I got my car and I know I can call him at anytime with any questions or concerns. He made the whole experience so smooth . He wasn't pushy, he listened to our needs and wants, and respected… us as customers. We would definitely go back !! It was our very 1st time coming to Garvey. We had been with the same salesman for MANY years, and he left the cars sales industry . I don't like change, however Claude made all that anxiety I had disappear . So we made one phone call, were connected to "OUR" salesman, Eric S. We explained our challenge and he took excellent care of us.… We did "NOTHING".
