by Service on 09/24/2024Dropped one of my Vehicle Off for a repair had it towed in was told they were backed up it is a T350 and wouldn't get to it for 2 weeks I dropped the Truck on 8/2/24 got it back on 8/29/24 It needed Cats and Spark plugs they couldn't get… cats so I had them do the spark plugs and brought it to someone else. I have cats from a 16 truck asked the service advisor to check if it crosses, he never did I had Auto zone cross it and it was the same. Had someone else put them in. on 8/2/24 I told the service writer I have a 550 that I need to have towed in he told me to make an appointment I did it was for 9/3/24 the truck is still sitting in the same place I had it towed to. In the meantime, I have another one I dropped off with transmission problems on 9/17/24 and I just spoke to the service advisor, and he told me he can't get that one in till Friday maybe I told him the t350 is more important than the F550 These are trucks that we do road calls for Over the road 18 wheelers, I am told you have 1 bay that does Heavy duty trucks. I have used your shop for 8 years before you made a " Heavy Duty Bay" and never had to wait this long to get service. My opinion the so called 1 "Heavy Duty Bay isn't working out" And you made a special Service advisor that when he went on vacation all heavy-duty work stopped because no one was updated on what was needed to be done is what I was told as a customer. When you didn't have the Heavy Duty Bay, my trucks got in a lot faster and done. I will be taking the transmission job to another shop to be done. I got this Review right after I told the service advisor, I was taking my truck someplace else.Hi, we are so disappointed to learn of this situation you have described. I also got to meet Joey who owns the dealership who went out of his way to make sure this was done… right a way which it was. by JimSwenson33 on 05/27/2021I bought my 2018 f-150 Lariat at Sunshine and unfortunately I have had many major issues with it. Each time I brought it in for service it was an extremely difficult process. The service department kept saying they couldn't reproduce the… issue. I had to open a case with FORD customer service and bring the Ford service bulletin I found on the internet with what I thought was the issue. Finally after 3 visits they performed the correct diagnostics and replaced the parts needed. Another time same thing... "we can't hear the noise" after 2 visits I opened a case with FORD customer service and on the 3rd visit I was offered a rent a car and the service manager with his tech on called me several times and said they couldn't reproduce the issue. Again I shared a Ford service bulletin and asked them some diagnostic questions "did you try this, did you try that?" This time they performed the diagnostics I mentioned and figured out the issue and replaced the parts as needed. Another issue is every time I ask for a copy of the repair order with the parts that were replaced for my documentation I was given a hard time. "Why do you want that?" I told them for my records... So the service writer typed up a new form rather then printing a copy of the repair order!? Plus 2.5 hrs for an oil change?!? Bottom like is I spent almost $60k on this truck and first I shouldn't be having these issues with it, so I'm disappointed with FORD as a product and and secondly I shouldn't have to deal with the service department that is incompetent and acts like they are doing me a favor every time I have an issue.Great service
