However, the waiting area, as always, was clean, friendly, and offered coffee. These are always appreciated. Originally I had planned on borrowing a loaner,… but the service department got me in and out and I was able to make my next appointment on time.Because of their quick and efficient service, I did not need the loaner and did not need to make the trip back down to Churchville to return a loaner car. THIS WAS REALLY APPRECIATED!! While I was there, I overheard the service manager explain to an elderly couple what was wrong with their car. He took his time, he was very clear in his explanation, he listened to their concerns, and then worked out a solution they could work with. He didn't rush them or talk over them and certainly didn't talk down to them. I was really impressed. All of my experiences with the service department have all been excellent. Nobody wants to hear that repairs cost money and may take time, but at Barnard Chevrolet, they don't add disrespect to the mix. They also are considerate enough to give you a clean, quiet place to wait in. I almost think that the waiting area alone helps people relax a little, so they can take in the explanation on the repairs needed. They do an all around great job.Jim Barnard Chevrolet

by bcbm6212 on 10/15/2014updated 10/30/2014Your Service Department is always a good experience, however when I called for my appointment this time I spoke to a female that said the recall work plus the oil change and Tire rotation would take 1.5 hours, it actually took 3 hours.… However my truck was brought out at 10:30AM and the paperwork never made it to the front desk until I went to the service desk twice asking for it. The person responsible was not the one of the regular guys normally at that desk. I realize things like reprograming due to recall can take additional time, it should have been stated when I asked on the appointment call.Truck buying experience at Jim Barnard Chevrolet

In researching your concern I see that the seat trim part was replaced with a new part on September 11, 2014, and that the service agreement on your Certified pre-owned vehicle appears to be valid through 1/31/2017 or 90,009 miles, whichever occurs first.
