Buyer Beware! Unprofessional, Shonky and Disorganized
by JJ on 07/30/2021I felt this review was needed to alert other potential customers before considering purchasing a car from this dealership. I have had an unfortunate experience and to date, my complaint has not been answered nor rectified. I purchased a car… from this dealership at the very start of June and at time of signing the contact, I was informed that I would receive my new registration before the temporary registration expires (which was mid July) all the standard dealership stuff...I trusted their word and and figured they knew what they were doing. July approaches, no registration received. I call because I’m getting nervous and the receptionist advises me that I will receive a call back. No one calls me back. I give it a few days and call again. This time I speak with Lawrence. Without even taking any of my concerns into consideration, Lawrence was quick to brush me off and says “it’s not our problem if you don’t receive your registration in time before the temporary registration expires”. I told him that doesn’t sound right or fair, and that I’m concerned that I will receive violations but also wanted to make sure they had sent our paperwork off to the DMV. Lawrence answer to this was “well if you get a violation you can contest it with the city”. Hmmmm okay Lawrence that sounds reasonable doesn’t it?! I send an email again detailing my concerns. I then receive a call from Jasmine, who showed us the car at the start of the transaction. She apologized for Lawrence and said to not worry, that usually you get the registration right before it expires. She then asked me for copies of my insurance paperwork, said that she didn’t have it on file. Hmmm again strange, since Ashley had it emailed directly to her and apparently it was a requirement at the time of signing the contract so where those copies went? Who knows! She received them from Geico.. days later checking the dmv website I finally see the car has been registered...however it’s now past the expiration of my temporary registration which expired on 7/22. Low and behold I have received not ONE but TWO violations from the city for an expired temp registration tag. DMV confirmed they received paperwork LATE (am I suprised?)! So since June this dealership had been sitting on our paperwork and brushing me off. I then text Jasmine a copy of the violation and of course no response. So BUYER BEWARE! Typical shonky dealership who is only interested in getting you in to buy a car but could care less about you after that! I’m furious and will not be returning to this dealership for any kind of services for my car.EverLasting Impression
by UrAssiTant on 03/12/2016My wife and first time purchasing a vehicle from Teddy VW dealership. I use to service my 2005 Passat back in 2009 and received great service. But when actually dealing with a salesmen it has left an everlasting impression on both myself… and my wife. Doug Lee was our car salesman but after meeting him he became a friend at the right time. He was very honest, informative and patient with our every need. He never pressured us into anything just to make a sale. We left satisfied, fulfilled with a great car and not to mention our face was hurting from laughing so much. If you go to Teddy VW ask for Doug Lee and if he's not working there no more track him done lol!! Thanks Doug!!Jorge Santiago

I really appreciate that. I will recommend all my friends and… colleagues to him. Justin Rivera did a fantastic job by showing us our carnet and setting up our 30 day maintenance appointment. These two young men are the definition that I've seen in Teddy Volkswagen ever. Considering this is my fourth vehicle here. thank you both great job you two!Thanks for the great feedback!
