  • Great leasing experience with Bright Bay.

    5 out of 5 starsby KLRESQ711 on 12/29/2016

Leased a car this month with salesman Dominic Babbo, who was fabulous. Dominic worked hard to get me a great deal in a time crunch for a hard to find vehicle. I really appreciated Dominic's hard work to get the job done and his integrity in acting fairly to get me the absolute price. I'll definitely be returning to Bright Bay for my next vehicle.

  • Great neighbor recommendation for Bright Bay

Chris Higginson, our salesman, was very professional and guided us through the lease process without any pressure at all. He answered any/all our questions in a straight forth manner. The new car was ready to go when we arrived early. We found the entire staff at Bright Bay ready to go out of there way to make us feel comfortable. This was our 3rd Lincoln MKX lease and by far the best dealership to work with. It was recommended by our neighbor...

After shopping the world and getting the run around, I went to Bright Bay. Not only was the staff friendly and polite ( rare for a dealership), but I recieved honesty and integrity while doing busoness there. I wish I would have gone there first and saved myself alot of time and aggrivation. I got the vehicle I wanted ( an MKX ) at a great deal and was able to pick it up without having to come back. Hats off to the staff at Bright Bay for doing business the right way and restoring my faith that at least some dealers do business correctly.

  • Worst Experience Ever

My experience with this dealer was actually a few years ago but I just found this place to comment. I spoke to this dealer over the phone to get a price on a new Mariner. We agreed in general on a price and my wife and I went in to buy the car, with prior financing arrangements. They said they could try to beat my rate so I agreed to complete a loan application. Of course when they could not beat the rate but saw I had good credit they did everything they could to try to force me into using their financing, including blocking the doorway of the "Finance Manager's" office to prevent my wife and I from leaving. We had a deal agreed to but they would not honor it anymore since I would not finance through them (never a stipulation of our agreement). I went to another dealer to buy the same car and told them the story, they looked it up and found that the sales person and manager would have gotten a $500 bonus if we financed with them. My Suggestion is: if you are looking for a Mercury or Lincoln you should go to [elsewhere]..
  • A great GMC dealer!

Dealing with Bright bay was a great experience, my salesman was great to deal with. He and the sales manager got me a better deal than 3 other dealers in the area. Transaction was smooth as silk!
  • STAY AWAY!!!

STAY AWAY FROM BRIGHT BAY LINCOLN!!! Domenick, the dealer, had managed to lure me and my husband all the way from NJ (a 90-minute drive each way!) promising us to "make us happy", to give us 17-18K as the trade-in value for our current Lincoln (based on the Car Fax we sent him via email), to "be flexible with the asking price for the used Lincoln" (which, btw, was over 2K above book value). "Don't worry," he said, "we will make a deal." Really? Upon arrival, and before even checking our car, Domenick stated, "when I offered the 17-18K I didn't know the car had 3 accidents." Really? Didn't you have our email with the car report in front of you?...At this point my husband was already suspicious that honesty was probably not his strong suit, but we decided to give it a fair try (after all, we were 90 minutes away from home). Upon seeing the car and taking it for a short drive Domenick gave us this compelling speech about him being the "number 1 at the dealership, and why?", he asked, "since I am an honest guy!!!" Really? I guess that offering us 16,700 for our car should be considered honesty, after promising 17-18K. I guess that asking for the same exact price advertised online is also considered honesty, after luring us to Long Island under the false premise of "being flexible with the price". I also guess that offering us to pay 24K for the difference between our car and the used Lincoln we wanted to purchase + installing a new DVD system in the car, but then have the manager Tom show up and increase the price to $24,700 and no DVD is considered honesty in the eyes of Bright Bay Lincoln. My husband had more than enough of this "honest" manner in which these guys do business, that the one thing that he wanted was to leave, which we did. Since I really liked the car, my husband agreed to have me text Domenick and ask him if we could close at 24K, as per his initial offer. Domenick, who had texted me the day before "I'm sure I will make you guys happy, I spoke to the owner and he will step up on the trade..." (really? by offering us less? yup, we were so happy that we couldn't stop ourselves from doing the happy dance), ended up offering us $24,500. We asked for an additional minor discount (even $50, just to get this done with), but then these guys came up with a 1K expanse on "the truck" that they weren't aware of before (really?) and thus couldn't do $24,500 but only $24,700. Honesty at its best... At this point we started our way back home to NJ, relieved that we didn't do business with this Bright Bay Lincoln, which is anything but bright! Unless you have the same definition to the word honesty as these guys have, I would recommend that you STAY AWAY FROM BRIGHT BAY LINCOLN!!!
    • We are very sorry to hear about your experience. Please know it is never our goal to deceive a customer or play any type of games. We believe our positive reviews are evidence of this fact. When you originally visited our dealership on Friday, we knew you were interested in the Navigator and that you had a trade that you wanted us to "GIVE YOU AND IDEA" of its value on the phone. Maybe you were not aware that Dominic did not have access to your email as he was phoning you from home. We obliged but had no idea that the car was involved in three accidents at the time the 17-18 was offered. Three accidents certaily impacts the value of any vehicle considerably! In hindight we should have run a carfax before you came here but we simply do not do that until time if apraisal. We realize it took you quite some time to travel to the dealership. We certainly did not bring you here under false pretences as it is our goal to sell vehicles and make customers happy. Your comments regarding the salesman lying simply are not true. We know you invested a lot of time in the process and we feel badly about this situation. If you would like us to revisit this deal I would be happy to. Maybe its not too late to make you happy. Please feel free to reach out to me directly. Best Regards. General Manager ED

I felt very welcome and confident working with Dominic. he helped me make the right decision for me and there was no pressure. The car is perfect and it was the best deal in town. Trust me I shopped around.
