Bring a mechanic or make sure you ask to take the car for a diagnostic test
by Monet on 01/17/2019I purchase my car from Auto Market Sales in February 2018. I purchase a 2010 e350 Mercedes from Andy. I test drove the car and heard a little noise but the gentlemen who went with me to test drive the car told me because the car was sitting… for awhile it was just break dust. I believe him. I purchase the car and I didn't hear the noise as I drove the car. As months went by the noise began getting louder and noticeable. I took it to Mercedes and they ran a diagnostic test on the car and told me that I need a transmission and converter. I only Drove the car 5000 in the short period of time I had the car. I had extended warranty so as the company did there research they refuse to pay for the transmission because it was a preexisting issue before I purchase the car. I was sold a LEMON. Andy knew that the car had issues not only that I was sold a car that had also been in a accident because you can tell there was a paint job done . What makes it worst is I called Andy and he said that I didn't purchase the car from him. I was taken back. then he ask my name and all of a sudden he remembered who I was. I explain to him what took place and he said I mess up the transmission. I was livid. the extended warranty company did there research and its stated on another car report that in June 2017 the car was taken in for transmission issues. I should have known better when I saw the car fax that it was missing 40000 miles of service but I wanted the car so badly that I trusted Andy. Although he provided good service, he sold me a car that was no good and he knew it. PLEASE IF YOU BUY A CAR FROM AUTO MARKET SALES BRING A MECHANIC OR ASK TO TAKE THE CAR TO GET A DIANOSTIC TEST BECAUSE YOU WILL PAY OUT OF YOUR POCKET IF ITS A PREEXISITING ISSUE THAT YOU DONT KNOW ABOUT AND THE PERSON SELLING YOU THE CAR DOES. I HAD TO PAY 6700 FOR A NEW TRANSMISSION. I PAID 21000 FOR CAR AND HAD TO PAY AN ADDITIONAL 7000 TO FIX AN ISSUE THAT I WASNT AWARE OF . If THE CAR HAS BEEN SITTING FOR A WHILE ON THE LOT GET IT CHECKED FIRST BECAUSE THEY WILL NEVER TELL THE TRUTH THEY ARE JUST TRYING TO GET YOUR MONEY AND THEY SUCCEDED WITH ME. I WILL NEVER BUY A CAR HERE AGAIN AND WILL NEVER RECCOMMEND NO ONE THEM. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE BRING SOMEONE WHO IS KNOWLEDGABLE ABOUT CARS OR ASK TO TAKE IT TO GET A DIAGNOSTIC TEST.
