  • Went to Jersey

    5 out of 5 starsby phillyguy7 on 06/05/2015

I was shopping on line for a vehicle because I had received my 4th recall in 11 months on the car I owned. I saw a Honda Crosstour at Burns and went to check the vehicle. John in sales was a pleasure to deal with. Rick is the Manager at the dealership and both showed the most patience and professional approach I have ever had buying or in my 14 years in working at a dealership I can recall experiencing. If you want a pleasant experience and get value for your money, Go to the Burns Organization. The dealership is 5 minutes over the Walt Whitman Bridge and the whole process couldn't have been better.

  • Great Dealership

5 out of 5 starsby MarleneSG on 07/23/2014

Ed A made leasing a car easy. He got us the price we were comfortable with and was very friendly & helpful. He explained all the features of the car & even set up my phone and audio preferences. Bill B was very helpful as well in explaining available extra warranties. He too was a pleasure to work with. Dealership is clean.
  • Great Salesperson Experience!

Working with my salesperson (Bob L) was great. He was thorough, not pushy, and professional. We would definitely recommend him to others and we hope to return to work with him in the future!

I was squeezed in for service without an appt. on what was an obviously very busy day. The one year warranty was honored to evaluate the AC system and fix it. It is "COOL!" Thanks for the ride home and back. Both drivers were courteous and quick. I'll be back for future service. Thanks!

Great Communication, professional, no surprises, and the delivery process was smooth and quick. It really was the ideal experience in shopping for a car, start to finish (delivery) and follow up thereafter.

  • Burns Honda in Marlton, NJ

    5 out of 5 starsby Deanna_Austino on 06/30/2014

My salesperson, Mike G, was well-rounded in his knowledge of Honda vehicles. He was a huge help and spent over two hours working with me to find and obtain the Honda vehicle that best suited me and my traveling situations. Even after the purchase took place, he made follow-up calls with me to ensure that the vehicle was still in good working condition, and encouraged me to contact the dealership if I had any further questions or concerns. I would recommend Burns Honda in Marlton, NJ to anyone who wanted to purchase a Honda vehicle, new or used.

  • The Burns Honda Experience

5 out of 5 starsby AlexanderDarke on 06/26/2014

What I liked about the experience is how the salesman wasn't a salesman; he was in no way pushy or trying to slip in extra sales. What he was in short was helpful and he helped me get what I was looking for. I recommend Pat H to anyone looking to buy a car there.
    • Alexander, thank you so much for this 5-star review about your shopping experience! We always enjoy hearing from our customers. I am pleased to hear that Pat has been very helpful and accommodating to you. Our goal is to provide quality customer care, and I am glad to hear that he has shown you their commitment to this. We hope to work with you again in the future for any of your automotive needs! Sincerely, Doug Begbie, the General Sales Manager

  • A VERY SATISFIED CUSTOMER

    5 out of 5 starsby rmelendez55 on 11/21/2010

One day in November, 2010, I entered Burns Honda just to see the new 2011 Honda Odyssey Touring and to gather information on their price. I had purchased a new 2005 Honda Odyssey from Burns in 2005. The sales person, Mr. Mark Foley, a nice guy, explained how much improved the new Odyssey was to my 2005. We took a test drive and I fell in love with. The price was right and what was given for my trade was also just right, so I purchased the new 2011 Honda Odyssey Touring. Mr. Foley stayed with me from the time I entered the dealership, until I drove my new car home. My experience was very delightful and would recommend, and I have recommended the dealership to some of my friends. A week later, my wife also purchased a new 2010 Honda Insight from Mr. Foley. Her experience was also delightful. She loves her new vehicle....
  • So-so service management / lack of pricing info

    2.7 out of 5 starsby wpa36nj on 11/04/2010

Prior to my service visit, I called the Marlton Burns Honda dealership to schedule an oil change for my vehicle. The person with whom I spoke said that she would apply a "$29.99 Express Oil Change" coupon to my appointment request, which she did. Instead of being in and out of the dealership in about 30 minutes (the idea behind the 'express service'), I was there well over an hour. I was told when I checked in that there were two people ahead of me. How is that MY problem...especially if I made an advance appointment? The service guy checking me in also mentioned that they would rotate my tires in addition to the oil change. When I get the bill the total is almost double what I expect. Closer to $60. The cashier says that my vehicle had a maintenance code come up and that was the reason for the tire rotation. The person checking me in did not mention that there would be an additional $28 charge for rotating 4 tires. He showed me a service sheet (which I signed prior to the work) that showed $29.99 - for the oil change - and did NOT mention the $28 charge for the tire rotation. $28 to rotate four tires seems excessive, also. I was further annoyed that no one from service ran through the service check list with me when my car was done...they just handed me off to a cashier.
  • Let Down..Hit or Miss

3.2 out of 5 starsby chevronman on 10/11/2010

Seriously Let down by this place, I have purchased over 6 new Honda's from burns in the last 8 years Me ,my wife and kids. When I went back a few months ago to look for a new 2010 Pilot I was paired up with Ed Altman. Nice guy overall. We have always have had ONE salesman, but he moved on somewhere else thus Stuck with ED. Just not happy with the way we treated, spent entirely to much time in the dealership ,trade appraisal took over 2 hours wait time when we had a Appointment for evaluation. Ed wanted us in a certain color which we did not want etc and would not budge on price which was Higher than the Internet price that was given.. so the deal Fizzed out and took some time off from buying until I could get the deal we wanted. I ended up with a 2011 Pilot instead a few months later from a dealer in PA. It just seems the customer service has gone way down from what it once was. Make your own choice.
  • Best Honda Dealer!

    5 out of 5 starsby avl1 on 08/13/2010

I recently purchased a 2010 Honda Crosstour From Burns Honda. I worked with Ed Altman, and I couldn't have had a better experience. There was no pressure, and Ed spent a lot of time with me explaining the features of the vehicle, taking the vehicle on a test drive, and discussing financing options. The delivery process took awhile, but no longer than I've experienced before. Throughout the process, everyone at the Burns dealership was cordial and helpful, and went out of their way to make the process pleasant and painless. It was exciting to take delivery of my new vehicle! I am not surprised by this experience, because I have been a customer of Burns Honda since 1977, and they have been great, not just with sales, but also with service. I never felt that the service department was taking advantage of us (which I have sometimes felt with other dealerships), and they have kept all of our Hondas running great at reasonable prices. And the service people are also very pleasant. Burns must have a great training program in regard to customer service, or they just have a knack of hiring great people! Dealing with Burns has always been a great experience.
  • Bought a CR-V from Burns Honda Spring 2010

5 out of 5 starsby basketcases on 03/26/2010

Bought our first SUV, Honda's CR-V. We started shopping in September 2009 and liked our salesman, Marc, back then. We are very slow to make decisions and finally bought the car March 2010! I asked Marc to keep in touch when new incentives came out. He called once a month and left a friendly message. Who likes car salesmen! Now I do...our car salesman, and seemingly the other sales people at Burns are just as easy and comfortable to deal with. The wheeling and dealing was pretty painless. The manager, Jim, spent time with us explaining things, as well. I dreaded the last part of the process, meeting with the, 'loan guy.' Tony turned out to be delightful to deal with. Everything felt straight forward and was explained to our satisfaction. I look forward to a service department that is as responsive as the sales staff. Their motto really is true, 'the home of the Nice guys!'
  • Very good experience

    5 out of 5 starsby alweber1 on 02/28/2010

I recently received a proactive call regarding my leased Accord that had high milage. Burns worked out a good deal that prevented me from paying excessive milage charges and lowered my monthly payment. We closed the deal rapidly and drove out with a new Accord. My salesman was a good resource and the finance manager did not push an expensive service agreement. Overall this was a good experience, fair price and excellent service. I recommend Jack Ward as a knowledgeable and customer oriented sales professional
  • very deceptive sales

2.5 out of 5 starsby mosquitoguy on 05/04/2009

I was inquiring about a lease-- specifically what the $2000 down payment consists of... the sales manager flat out LIED by telling me it consists of taxes and title fees, and none of it is related to the actual lease. Of course over $1000 of it was "capital cost reduction".which is essentially a way of lowering the monthly payment. I will never buy another car from this dealership again, and I suggest anyone to stay away from these dishonest people unless you've really done your homework and know what to expect. Granted, I don't expect dealerships to tell you things that cut their bottom line (i.e. don't ask, don't tell), but I do expect an honest answer when a direct question is asked.
  • Never have or will buy a car from them

2.6 out of 5 starsby residenteric on 01/12/2009

My first experience with Burns Honda is when I was shopping for a 06 or 07 Honda Fit. The salesman took my information and asked for a deposit to do a vehicle search. During the whole process, I had to constantly called him to find out if he has found a car when I think it should have been the other way around. When I asked for a refund on the deposit, he lied and said he already got it processed. Anytime I called him and leave messages, he would not returned any of my calls. I ended up going to the dealership in person and got a refund in about 5 minutes. 2nd experience was again shopping for an 09 Honda Fit. This time I called other places first and was able to get a quote from [another dealership] for the invoice price. I told the salesman that I was quoted the invoice for the Fit but they would not do that price. They quoted me at least $300 over the invoice. I think unless you expect to pay close to the MSRP, they would not even considered selling you a car.
  • The worst!

1.6 out of 5 starsby abcnj on 11/16/2008

I have have tried to buy from them twice, they are much higher price than others. The $695 pinstrip etc package is mandatory on all cars, no negotiation, and their best deal is usually close to the worst deal I've gotten when shopping around. I bought an '07 Ridgeline, got it for $1,800 less from a no haggle dealer in NJ (i.e. the no haggle dealer price was sent to me by email and it was $1,800 less than Burns "best" negotiated price!!!). They ignor pricing info you bring in, it is all "them" and you are just a pawn. The salesmen are ok but the managers are aloof and treat you as an ignorant person. I use them to test drive cars, then buy elsewhere. I do recommend their service department, just watch the extras, like, "Honda recommends an alignment once a year" or they sell you none Honda wiper blades at Honda blade prices if you don't specify Honda.
  • Terrible- DO NOT SHOP HERE

1.6 out of 5 starsby mickeyac on 10/07/2008

I went into Burns Honda with a sizable down payment. I was quotted the price of a Honda CRV twice, then they tried to force me to purchase the add-ons. They told me all their CRV's have these and I could not order w/o the dealer add-ons. When to another dealer and bought a car. STAY AWAY FROM BURNS HONDA!
