BUYER BEWARE!!!
by Justin on 02/27/2020BUYER BEWARE!!!! I bought a BMW X5 550xi in October 2019. As soon as I drove the car off of the lot there was a warning to add oil, there was no gas, and there were even 3K miles more than was advertised. So I called them and they said that… I might have to add oil and that these cars use more oil. So I kept adding oil and then a warning light came on that my engine has become dangerously hot and not to drive it anymore. So I had it towed to a garage and they had to replace the water pump, auxiliary pump, thermometer, and hoses. Also, the car had been emitting white smoke. So I asked them about that and they said not to worry. So I did some research and come to find out that these cars have serious engine problems and that BMW knew about it and that there was a class action suit against BMW. So the dealership clearly knew about this yet failed to tell me about it and they made no attempt to fix it. So they basically kept telling me not to worry about these problems and that it was normal for BMW's to burn and leak oil like this. I was also told by the person that picked me up at the airport that works for the dealership that they sell many cars to Africa and that they also have an office in Africa. He preceded to tell me that they continuously sell cars there without performing any mechanical fixes and that, in his words.."They don't know anything about buying cars." So it's obvious that you should not buy a car from this dealership. If a dealership does not even take the care to add ONE DOLLAR'S worth of gas to drive home than they clearly don't care about diagnosing any problems before selling the car. The NJ State Attorney General is looking into the problem and I should have an answer soon and will keep everyone updated. The only positive experience was that the salesperson Alexandra was very helpful. The owner and manager never responded to any of my correspondence.Friendly

by Andre on 11/14/2019I’m not one to write bad reviews but this is important for car buyers from this dealership. As always the salesman is very nice to make the sale but don’t fall for the nice treatment !! I bought this car 8/31/19 and is in in great… condition. That’s the positive. Here’s the negative. I was told that the car was getting a 125 point inspection. That was a lie because the car needs an alignment, it had a nail in the tire and failed the nys inspection. the brakes were to low and the tires were borderline. So I have to fix all this out of pocket. All they did was detail the car. Now Here’s the worst part the finance person told me there was a mandatory service contract that I had to buy because she wasn’t going to loose money. Well it clearly says that I don’t have to buy it and that I can cancel within 60 days for a full refund. Yes I read the fine print. Turns out the $1300 were rolled into the loan and city motor group canceled the service contract. So where is the $1300?. Well now they are being investigated because I have no service contract or the $1300. So buyers be aware for these scams!!!Worth The Drive

Upon dealing with the salesman and finance manager, they amazed me with giving me a good price on trade in and a great deal on the suv I originally came to look at. They are professional… and courteous, and very knowledgeable about the cars they sell. The cars are in excellent condition and they take pride in what they sell. The owner is friendly, knowledgeable and goes out of his way to help.
