Unprofessional Service
by JonCavaya on 10/16/2017During my visit the number shifted dramatically all of sudden once I pointed out the total of the payments was way too high. No straight answers makes me have to assume dishonesty. Also the internet sales team promised things the actual… sales team could not deliver. Things like this happen, but they handled it terribly. The staff was very annoyed and acted like the misunderstanding was my fault when it was their employee who emailed me the wrong info. I can not recommend dealing with them. Never an apology, never any attempt at guest recovery.Great Experience!

best car buying experience

Do not buy used here!
by Shannon1002 on 10/01/2015I bought a used, non-vw from this dealership recently. The sales girl and whole buying process I had was fine. The night I bought my car I mentioned that the brakes looked low but I was convinced by her that they were in good shape. I took… my car to a dealership for an oil change 2 weeks later to be told I needed new brakes and tires. The only thing I got back from burlington vw was that they were trying to up-sell me. I am not dumb. I know that. So I can say that I can honestly wait on the tires. However, the brakes I can not. They are very low and need to be replaced within the next couple of months if not now. I was able to speak with the general sales manager who only told me they couldn't replace wear and tear on vehicles they sell. So the point of the story is that if you are buying a used car from here...plan on dropping some serious money keeping up with that 'wear and tear' right after buying it even if within the 60 day warranty they so graciously offer.The needs of our customers are always our top concern. by catalinbarb on 09/06/2015I called Burlington VW interested in a Golf R. I received a quick call back and had an appointment. Drove 30' to the dealership and that's where surprises started. The car was still in the showroom. Manager came out and told me that no,… they never do tests with Golf R. When I expressed my incredulity he dismissed it as a mistake. He justified it by saying that Rs are limited editions, which of course they are not. Furthermore, the price of the car was not 36.5K, as displayed on the Burlington VW site and VW.com, but 47.5K. They had added 11K in protection film, preparation charges and other useless items. If this price had been posted I would have not been interested to start with. No surprise VW is not doing well in this country with dealers like this. Makes you wonder if manufacturer is aware.Thank you for your feedback. by jerseytune on 09/10/2014Worst dealership ever! After being in there for 6 hours with 3 kids and 9 months pregnant. I finally . Walked out with a car. A piece of carp one. After realizing the enormous amounts of problems their "certified" car had, I left many… unanswered voicemails and emails with the owner. Long story short, motor was replaced twice (amongst countless other problems). Finally got a lemon law lawyer and won, but didn't win enough to get rid of car.....purchase/lease SUV

If it wasn't for my sales person San Juan S. and the relaxed treatment with no pressure I received… I would have purchased a Toyota. I'm part of the Burlington Volkswagen Family. by ad82 on 07/09/2011updated 08/03/2025This is by far the worst dealership I have been to. They first tried to trick me and sell me a demo car. Which I refused. I was at the dealership and they made me wait for more than 3 hours after which I was told that the car I wanted was… not in stock as the last car was being purchased by someone else. They then tried to start a bidding war between me and the other person purchasing the car. They made me sign a piece of paper where I was willing to pay $300 more than the other person. After which I thought the car would be mine. But then the sales person, Christian came back saying that the car was sold to the other person. It was very messed up of the dealership to sell the car to someone else after making me sign the quote that I was willing to pay. Worst possible dealership. I landed up purchasing the car next day from another dealership at a much lower price.Got a nice deal and the experience was OK

Its hard to fully avoid any BS at these dealers. I got a nice deal on the car and the… salespeople were nice enough.Great experience
