Not happy with CarMax!
by bhinlv on 10/20/2014I was very happy with my purchase as well as the entire process that CarMax provides. What I AM NOT HAPPY about is that my trade-in still had $7000 remaining on my loan and I brought with me the exact payoff. At the time that I went in to… speak with the representative my bank was already closed. He told me that was ok and that they would get an estimated payoff and my bank would REFUND the monies back to me. This is not the truth! They only apply the remaining funds to the principle of the new loan. Had I known the truth I would have waiting until they called my bank. VERY UNHAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What a scam!Easy and comfortable dealer.
by sam89123 on 07/08/2012updated 06/01/2025i wish i found this site 2005 .. anyway i just want to give kudos to Carmax Family . i bought a 2003 Lincoln Navigator at Carmax Sahara branch ... easy no pressure after you decide which one you want you will go to the cimputer and put all… information then submit it to several finacing companies .. in 15 minutes the results are in and they will open the email infornt of you . usually there are 3 major companies offering to finance your newly purchased car and of course you have to pick which one you want . and if you dont want the offer then you can walk out the door and nobody will stop you not like typical dealer that you spend almost half of your day making deals . with carmax i recommend them with my friends and families i now always go to Carmax Henderson and alwyas go to same person name GAIL she is nice and wont rush you to your decisions. my Dad got a Mitsubishi Galant my sister got a Expidition and my friend got a toyota 4runner with elp help .. thanks carmax now its 2012 im ready to trade in my navigator . but ill visit you guys 2013. ill never go back to typical style dealer which you spend all day making deals .
