by melandbobby on 08/07/2008I called Elco to see if the Red 2002 Ford Esscape posted on line was still available and the salesman who took the call said yes. I asked how much, he placed me on hold to check, and came back with $5000. I asked him to hold the car I would… be there in 5 min. He questioned my 5 min and I repeated 5 min. When we pulled on the lot the Escape was parked in front of the sales office and he pullde up in a golf cart and said "Your gonna kill me!" I said you couldn't of sold it hat fast and he said "No, but I quoted you the wrong price. It's actually $8990.00." When we asked if there were any small SUV's on the lot for $5000 he said no. That is a pretty hard mistake to make, there was no other small SUV to confuse prices with. When I said that was out of price range he said he would be more than happy to meet us half way since it was his mistake. 2 days later I called to talk to the manager, and he told me the best he could do was also half way. I was done with this dealership when 2 days later another salesman called me about the same Escape. I told what happened and he said it's my lucky day becausethe other salesman and the boss were both off and he would see what he could do. 2 hours later he called me and again gave me the same price of the half way meet. I will never buy a car from this [violative content deleted]!!! And will never refer anybody here. I have bought 8 cars in the last 8 years but have never run accross a shady opperation like this before!ELCO is an *excellent* dealership!!

A year or so ago husband and our oldest son traded in their trucks, which had been purchased from ELCO, and each purchased a new… Equinox. I traded in my Malibu, which also had been purchased from ELCO, and bought a Cadillac CTS. Earlier this week our youngest son purchased a new Silverado pickup truck . In all instances ELCO has been outstanding! They have given us excellent trade-in prices for our previous vehicles and very reasonable prices on our new ones! We've done business with them for years and have recommended them to many people who have also had very good experiences with them. We MOST HIGHLY recommend them!Outstanding deal!

Called the dealership after spending a few hours with their competitor. They beat the price, delivered the Cadillac of my dreams--without any issues. They gave me a great price of my trade and from all indications, I got a fantastic deal. I would definitely recommend these guys. Do your homework first and don't settle!
