    My vehicle needed some body work after an accident happened while in the care of Mossy's service department. I must commend Mossy for immediately stepping up to repair my car and give me a loaner vehicle. The body repair was quick, and the car looks great. Some other issues popped up after the body work was completed and Mr. Gordon Hanna went "above and beyond" to get everything resolved. That is why Mossy of Picayune will always be my go-to dealer for sales and service.

    Service was great. Took a little longer than I thought it would. Love that I get my car washed every time I have my car serviced. Everyone very nice.

    In the last four years I've bought two vehicles from Mossy of Picayune and have had them serviced exclusively at the dealership. After 40+ years of being irritated with most dealerships and independent mechanics it's great to finally trust a service department with my vehicles. They do what they say they are going to do and the people are always friendly!

    I have to use this service department because of a VERY expensive service contract bought with the purchase of a vehicle from this dealer. They hide the true cost of the service contract in the monthly payment. Shame on me for not canceling in the allotted time.. Have not been pleased at all with quality of work from the service dept. or their coverage on contract. I will trade this vehicle in the near future at a loss just to rid myself of this expensive virtually useless extended warranty that ties me to this dealers service dept. I don't recommend this dealership to anyone. Do not expect this dealership to be able to handle anything more than an oil change.

WELCOME TO Mossy Of Picayune

In January of 1934, Wiley Mossy Sr. opened Mossy Motors on Rampart Street in New Orleans. After selling Buick’s since 1921, Mr. Mossy secured and Oldsmobile franchise and became the third new car dealership in the city of New Orleans.

Mossy Motors gained a reputation of offering quality products, fair prices and outstanding customer service. These principles and core values have guided the business for over 83 years, and earned awards such as Time Magazine’s “Dealer of the Year”, and Oldsmobile’s “Elite Dealer” more times than any dealer in Louisiana.

In 1971 the Mossy name moved to Houston with the purchase of an Oldsmobile dealership, which later added Nissan. The family expanded again in 1982 with the first dealership purchased in San Diego. Now, Mossy has six Nissan stores, one Ford, one BMW, one Honda, one Chevrolet and one Toyota dealership in the San Diego area.
