    I'm a former car customer of Berger and when my GMC dealership told me they no longer do evening appointments for oil changes and no weekends, I contacted Berger and was told I could come in between 9 am - 1 pm to get my oil change. I didn't have to take time off from work which really made me happy. The service staff were great.

    I post this on April 1st, but its not a prank. I purchased my car on Christmas Eve. I picked it up on the 26th or 27th. Before I could get it in the driveway, the check engine light came on. I made contact with the salesman and eventually, their solution was simply clearing the code saying it was the cold weather. Fast forward a few days and it was back on. I have now made numerous attempts to get whatever the issue is addressed and fixed for 4 MONTHS and all I get is "Let me call you" and that call never comes. And the check engine light is still on. Come on, it came on before I was able to drive 9 miles from the dealership to my own driveway. I guess once they have your money, its move on to the next. I'll need to spend my own money to get this resolved and it won't be at Berger, that's for sure.

    I recently purchased a new Chevy Blazer and the experience at Berger Chevrolet was very smooth. I live in Michigan where the winters are tough, and I came in with a flat tire and they fixed it in no time! I also got a top off on my oil and fluids. Thank you Berger!

    Jody Bryant was very friendly and easy to talk too. Probably the best i have talked to so far as in getting to the point. Once he understood that i needed my car back he was able to get it diagnosed and repaired in the same day. I have been to berger many times with my equinox. But besides that misdiagnosis, the times before and current have been a overall good experience. The service department is a well running machine.

    My car went in for a new alternator and battery. I asked the Service Department to give my vehicle an overall check. They were able to retrieve the entire service history and advise what should be done and what could possibly wait. They let me know the difference in GM versus after market parts. They were very upfront and honest. That's what I look for in where I shop. PS. My vehicle is a 2006 Saturn Vue that still looks and runs like it's brand new.

    I bought a van a couple months ago, when I got it they texted me a lot because they wanted me to purchase it. After I bought it they didn’t text me back and they knew they had to fix a few things on the van. They told me that they made the inspections on the van and they didn’t do it, they lied about it. They cheat me on the price as well. If you are trying to purchase a car from here, be careful.

    Dustin McPherson, my service advisor, was very helpful in getting my 2017 Malibu taken care of. He did a completely satisfying job for me. The service technician got the repair done correctly and my car was ready when promised.

    Side view mirrors would not move up or down. Problem was control switch was defective from the original supplier to manufacturer. Service personnel at Berger could not have been more kind, courteous, professional and efficient. I was given a loaner car & the car was fixed when promised; no problems since.

    We bought a car 8 months ago from Berger- it seemed like a "great" deal- a month after purchase the car was blowing smoke, so we brought it back, concerned- they told us to keep an eye on it- we maintained it and put less than 10 thousand miles on it during this time. This past weekend, the check engine light came on so we took it in to find that the engine has no compression- bad rings. We were told by 3 experts in the field including Toyota & our own mechanic that this had to be a pre- existing condition. That it couldn't have just happened suddenly after we got the car - especially with such low mileage on it! For a Toyota- 72,000 miles is just broke in...the more we thought about this and speaking with mechanics and experts, the more we are realizing we were taken for a "ride". Thinking they would want to work with us since the purchase was so recent & the circumstances were so suspicious, we went there last Saturday to speak with the manager. He said he would work with us to resolve the matter- that they weren't "some car dealership on Division" his words exactly folks! Told us he'd get back with us on Monday. We made numerous calls and left countless messages that seemed to fall on deaf ears. Finally he spoke to us and said "it's not our problem" Not "some dealer on Division, ey?" The proof is in the customer service and I guess for what is relatively a small amount of cash to them, they don't mind diluting their reputation down to sour milk. I have nothing good to say about this dealer. They are [non-permissible content removed] & worse, they sold us a faulty vehicle.

    The Berger Chevrolet staff is great. They are low pressure and very knowledgeable. They took time to understand my wants and needs. The financing department is great too. No pushy extended warrantys etc. All in all I had a great experience. Since this was my first new car purchase I was surprised how smooth and fast the transaction took place. They were extremely hospitable.
