Fabulous dealership
by Laura on 05/02/2023Just purchased my second Nissan rouge. The new one is fabulous! My salesman has been a huge help throughout the process and available at all times to answer questionsI wasn’t planning on buying a vehicle
by Barb Mahoney on 01/05/2023My wife and I went there just to look at a used car as hers wasn’t functioning properly. I have been wanting a Nissan Rogue for awhile and to make a long story short I first tried a Nissan Kick but it didn’t check off all my boxes. The… salesmen suggested a Rogue and we looked at 3 different styles. Everyone was patient and friendly. They answered all my questions and concerns. I would highly recommend this dealership to purchase your vehicle.Barb Mahoney, we are very happy we could provide you with a positive experience! If you ever need anything else from us, please feel free to give us a call or stop by. Thank you again for letting our team know how we did! We look forward to helping again in the future. Take care!
Making their monthly quota with one sale per month
by MFS223 on 09/24/2019That's what it felt like when the dealership manager put a lease figure in front of me. I was floored by the monthly payment. Especially since Nissan was advertising the same car, the 2019 Nissan Murano Platinum AWD, for $237 LESS per… month. I took a screen shot of the price right off of Nissan's website. I guess the concept of dealer participation was that they participated by charging a higher monthly rate. I'll admit, I was not happy and left a voicemail for the sales manager letting him know. He in turn told me via email to never contact them again. $699 a month for a 36 month lease with 10,000 miles per year was just a bit steep for a Murano. Since then I've looked at six different cars in the exact same price range and not one of them was more than $500 per month. I told the manager that I felt like he was trying to take advantage or something and rather than calling me back and attempting to explain his pricing, he attacked me for questioning his integrity. This dealership is never busy and the sales people are constantly changing. They have tarnished Nissan's reputation and I will never buy one again. We appreciate your honest feedback. Thank you for taking the time to leave us this review.
Excellent Experience
by TeamSpannagel on 07/06/2019My husband and I had an excellent experience at Grand Blanc Nissan. We had been looking at a variety of cars at various dealerships, but all other dealerships paled in comparison to GB Nissan. Immediately welcomed by friendly faces, ready… and willing to hear any and all requests. The entire team was willing to do whatever it took to hit our vehicle goals and price points. We worked directly with Arturo and Don, who were incredibly accommodating and honest, answering all questions and concerns, going above and beyond to help guide us to make the best and most informed decision. GB Nissan genuinely cares about their people and puts their customers above the sale. We were greeted like old friends by Harold and felt very comfortable and confident with the process as explained by Cal. We walked away with a 2019 SV all wheel drive black Nissan Rogue, perfect for our growing family. Thank you, GB Nissan!!Thank you so much for your wonderful rating! Please let us know how we an assist you in the future!
Easy to work with.
by Justin on 03/07/2019I had the pleasure of working with Christine Harwood who was very helpful and understanding. Without a doubt one of the better car sales representatives I dealt with while test driving over a dozen cars from half a dozen dealerships.… Unfortunately I decided on purchasing a different make and model vehicle than Christine sells, but if you are looking to buy a vehicle you should definitely setup an appointment with her and give her a chance.Thank you so much for your kind words about our dealership! Please let us know how we can be of service in the future. Take care!
From service to sold
by sepwell710 on 10/21/2017Google near by dealer found Grand Blanc Nissan. I Called to schedule service, Denise answered and scheduled my service, she was very nice and she welcomed me to the area. Came in for service appointment and it was good to see the diversity… of employees in the dealer. While waiting for service the sales guy entertained me with a test drive. The test drive turned into a purchase. The guys there were friendly and patient, not pushy like other dealers I've been to. Would have given 5 stars but nobody is perfect.Thank you so much for your great review about our dealership! Please let us know if we can be of service in the future. Take care!
So Pleased With My Purchase, My Experience At Grand Blanc Nissan
by Chellygelly on 02/26/2017Grand Blanc Nissan made the entire process of purchasing a vehicle so simple and enjoyable. Ken Mercier was a joy to work with. Very knowledgeable, credible and personable. I walked away with a 2013 GMC Acadia with just over 23,000 miles… for under the fair Kelley Blue Book value. The vehicle is spotless and has all the features I was looking for. Thanks again, Ken, Harold and Cal. I'm ecstatic about my "new" car :) AnnThank you so much for your wonderful review! If there is anything we can do for you in the future please let us know. Have a great day!
All good things!
by Savage213 on 02/02/2017Can't say enough good things about Kenn and the friendly staff at Grand Blanc Nissan! Just a few months ago, my wife and I bought a pre-owned vehicle from them and we loved it. We really enjoyed our buying experience and said that the next… time we needed a vehicle we would definitely be coming back. Well, long story short, we were involved in an accident and we totalled that vehicle! We needed a replacement vehicle, fast. We came back to Grand Blanc Nissan and sure enough, they hooked us up again. We found another great vehicle similar to the one that was wrecked. It was the honest and knowledgeable staff that brought us back and will keep bringing us back again and again for all of our vehicle needs. Special thanks to Todd and Kenn, you guys rock! Thanks so much for you wonderful review and high star rating! If we can do anything for you in the future please let us know. Take care!
Worst customer service I have ever experienced!
by Drcarmobile on 08/10/2016This review is regarding the sales department. No experience with the service department. I came in ready to buy a Nissan Rogue. I was met by a young African American that looked like he just started. I asked him for rough numbers… assuming I had good credit and he refused at first saying he had to run my credit. He was extremely arrogant in his approach and mannerisms. Finally I asked him if he was new because it was new and he just laughed at me. I asked why he was laughing and he went to get the manager. And now it gets worse.. When the manager came (older white dude, Harold might have been his name) right away he started talking in a raised voice asking why we are giving his salesman a hard time. I tried asking multiple questions but he just kept going on about how it's the best price blah blah. Finally, I was able to ask a question regarding my credit before he cut me off again. I told him I was not done talking and he then proceeded to swear and say "I'm not done talking either" and "who the hell are you" etc. I decided to leave out the swears. After that I obviously walked out. Went to Honda down the street and picked up a CRV with amazing customer service. Couldn't be happier. I have never taken the time to write a review or file a complaint about a company. I understand everyone has their good and bad days. But this was absolutely the worst customer service I have ever experience in my life. I was so disgusted that I'm actually taking a the time to write this review and called Nissan Corporate to make sure they know what kind of service is going on at their Grand Blanc dealership. Buyer beware, and happy car shopping!Thank you so much for your honest feedback regarding our dealership. If there is anything we can do for you in the future please let us know. Have a great day.
DO NOT BUY FROM GRAND BLANC NISSAN
by jkelleyana on 04/17/2016 Drove 225 miles to purchase a used Lexus Talked to salesman (Nick) at least four times while in route - I was obviously a serious buyer Nick requested my personal information I stressed repeatedly not to use my information until… I saw and took a test drive in the car More importantly, don't use this information until we agreed on the price - basic common sense I repeated this at least four times He assured me that any credit inquiry would be a "soft pull". This was crystal clear to both of us The following issues occurred Car had three inches of snow on top of it Car would not start Car could not be jumped with a portable battery Car finally started with a conventional cable hooked up to another car Nick's boss (Todd) repeatedly swore under his breath at Nick Todd would not allow a test drive on the highway Obviously I left after this nonsense When I arrived home later that night, I received an email from a credit agency. It stated that a hard pull had been done on my credit - I was furious Grand Blanc Nissan was obviously unprepared to sell me their car Their behavior was very unprofessional Their actions were dishonest regarding my credit I would never even consider this business in the future If zero stars was a choice - it would be accurateThis is an inaccurate review. The truth of the matter is as follows: The customer called at noon on a Saturday. He had a 4 hour drive to the dealership. We close at 4pm. The customer was told this at least 3 times! He assured us he would be here by 3pm. He arrived at 4:30pm. We stayed open just for him. The customer showed up with no means of paying for the car, nor a second person to drive his current vehicle home. He had already told the salesman that he was not trading in his current vehicle. This is not what a serious buyer does. The reason we wanted to pull his credit was because in Michigan most credit unions close at noon, if they are even open at all on Saturdays. He said he wasnt sure if he was going to finance or pay cash. Since this vehicle was a 1999 Lexus, the only people that will finance a vehicle that old are the credit unions. Being as experienced a car buyer as the customer states he is, the customer should be well aware that when you provide a dealership with your credit information, they are going to run a credit check to see if you qualify for an auto loan. This is always a hard pull. It always has been and always will be. Why the customer didnt speak to a finance manger is beyond my understanding. I wouldnt go to a restaurant and order a dish from the busboy. I would order from a server. The busboy doesnt know the ingredients in the dish and heaven forbid I have a food allergy! The reason the car had snow on it was because it was snowing. It snowed half an inch that day, not 3 inches! When the customer finally arrived, he demanded 30% off of the vehicle price and stormed out like a little kid who couldnt get candy when he didnt get his way. He drove four hours hoping we would reduce the price by $2,000. He was well aware that this was an AS IS vehicle before he made the drive. If I drove four hours to a dealership, I wouldve addressed this before making that drive! The following Monday, the customer then attempted to email myself saying he would take the vehicle at a ridiculous price. This customer is just a keyboard bully trying to steal a car for a price he wants to pay. If his experience was so bad, why did he try to negotiate the car deal two days later? The defense rests your honor.
Bunch of [non-permissible content removed]
by Jwoodruff22 on 03/24/2016If I could leave a 0 start review I could. This dealership is full of a bunch of [non-permissible content removed]. They showed me a lease car including a buyout of my lease then when I said I wanted to look at used cars to buy the dropped… buying out my lease without telling me. Pressured me to sign the papers- kept me there until 9:30 at night even though I said three times we would come back the next day to sign I had my 2 year old with me and they kept saying we have to do it tonight. So, I signed the papers and took home the car only to realize they never said anything about the lease I was supposed to be getting rid of, the next day when I went back to confront them about it the said too bad you signed a contract. So I told them I would get a lawyer and they lied to my face twice and said I told them I wanted to keep my lease when that is never the case. He even said he had me on camera recorded saying it. So I told him to show it to me because I never said any such thing. Of course they couldn't because I never said that and then he finally admitted he didn't have the recording. They were going to void that only if I went in to the original lease they offered me and then they would pay off my other lease. I originally said okay fine, because I couldn't afford two car payments, but then they once again required me to sit and wait for them when I told them I had to leave by 7:30 so I could leave both cars (the lease and the one I would have been returning) there and come back tomorrow. Of course they wouldn't allow that he yelled that he was sick of me flip flopping and calling banks for me because I was doing it. It was not me flip flopping it was a simple case of them being deceitful and pushing me to sign before I realized they were being so. Then come to find out I get in my car the next day and it says oil change due, so I looked at the Grand Blanc Nissan sticker and it said oil change due April 28, 2015. They sold me a car that hadn't had an oil change in almost a year. Worst place ever and I have been telling everyone to not go there and will continue for the rest of my life.My name is Cal Pusta, business manager at Grand Blanc Nissan. This review is 100% inaccurate. Let me elaborate on all the missing pieces in this review. Mrs. Woodruff and her husband came in to lease a new vehicle. They also had 13 remaining payments on their Civic totaling $4188. I presented numbers to her on the new car lease and included the payoff of their lease in the quote. They said it was too much money and they wanted to look at used cars. At that moment, I told both of them that they can look at used but we could not include the lease payoff in those payments. The husband told me "we need both cars" with his wife right by his side. They signed the contract on the pre owned vehicle and took delivery that night. They also drove their Civic home. Why would we pay off the lease and then allow them to drive that car home? That doesn't make sense. Have you ever traded in a vehicle and then drove your trade in home? NO, because it doesn't happen! They were well aware of what they signed since it was all done under camera. We do have the video recording and I told Mrs. Woodruff that if her lawyer would like to look at it, he is more than welcome to. They returned the next day wanting to switch cars and go with the new lease. I was more than willing to allow this to happen. I retyped their deal and after 15 minutes Mrs. Woodruff bursted into my office and said she wanted to leave and just keep the pre owned vehicle and her lease. I asked her if that was her final decision and she said yes.
Let me elaborate with the TRUE facts in this case for those of you taking the time to read this- as Cals response posted on 3/24/2016 at 7:23 AM PDT (copy and pasted below since I dont trust him not to remove or edit it). He has a number of his missing pieces incorrect and I will address them each one by one. "Mrs. Woodruff and her husband came in to lease a new vehicle.- Mrs. Woodruff is not even the correct way to address me. "They also had 13 remaining payments on their Civic totaling $4188.- I signed the lease on my civic on February 14, 2014 it was a 3 year 36,000 mile lease with payment totaling $349.68 per month. I came in to the dealership on March 16, 2016- meaning I only had 10 remaining payments on my lease totaling $3,496.80- which I have paperwork from Honda Financial stating so. "I presented numbers to her on the new car lease and included the payoff of their lease in the quote. They said it was too much money and they wanted to look at used cars. At that moment, I told both of them that they can look at used but we could not include the lease payoff in those payments. The husband told me "we need both cars" with his wife right by his side.- Cal was NOT a part of the process (so he did not present the numbers and did not tell us that lease payoff couldnt be included in a used car) except in two instances- one the salesman working with us, Nick, was unsure about switching insurance to which Cal responded they have 24 hours to switch and asked if we were switching insurances to which I (NOT the husband) responded no- because I was not switching cars on my current policy, I was (and did) switch from Farm Bureau to Progressive for the new car. The second instance was the NEXT DAY when we came in to ask them what happened with the check we were told we would get to pay the civic off. We never said we wanted both cars- as a matter of fact we said MULTIPLE TIMES we didnt have a use for three cars (including the other we had at home) cont. in next comment...
continued from last comment... "They signed the contract on the pre owned vehicle and took delivery that night. They also drove their Civic home. Why would we pay off the lease and then allow them to drive that car home? That doesn't make sense. Have you ever traded in a vehicle and then drove your trade in home? NO, because it doesn't happen! - We signed that night because the guy working the finance (which was never Cal like he would have people believe) refused to allow us to come back the next day like we said we would three times- he continued to pressure us to do it that night. We drove the Civic home because the other floor manager Mike (when trying to make a deal the previous day) told us they would write us a check for the remaining payments on the Civic and give it to us to which we can drive to Honda hand them the check and turn the car in and be done with it or cash the check and use it to pay off the remainder of the vehicle and keep it and turn it in at the end then we get three cars. To which we ONCE AGAIN responded that we dont want three vehicles we have no need or use for that so we want to turn the lease in. I am young and have never leased or bought a car before my Civic, so I had no way of knowing that is not how it goes, so they took advantage of that to make the sale and leave me stuck with both cars "We do have the video recording and I told Mrs. Woodruff that if her lawyer would like to look at it, he is more than welcome to.- He said he had me on recording saying I wanted both cars which he refused to show me because he said he doesnt have to to which I responded because you dont have it because I never said it. He later said that he doesnt really have the video. "They returned the next day wanting to switch cars and go with the new lease. I was more than willing to allow this to happen. I retyped their deal and after 15 minutes Mrs. Woodruff bursted into my office and said she wanted to leave and just keep the pre owned vehicle and her lease. I asked her if that was her final decision and she said yes.- I returned the next day asking where the check was, that I was expecting to be getting for the Civic to which they said there wasnt one and then when I was upset they offered to switch to the lease to a car I didnt even want to begin with- the whole point was to get out of a lease where I have to watch my miles. I agreed because that would be better in the future financially for me as I did not want three cars. They once again were forcing me to wait when I told them I had to leave by 7. So at 7:30 when they were still making me wait and refusing to even talk to me and let me come back tomorrow I said let me have the key to the Ford back I will figure it out myself. To which Cal yelled at me through the open door of the office (because I did not burst into it I was standing in the show room) and slammed his hands on the desk, I am sick and tired of doing this for you when you keep flip-flopping so you can wait for me or you can take the ford what do you want to do?! So I took the key and left.
