Good experiences
by videomorph on 05/27/2010In December 2008 I purchased a 2006 Tundra From Sunshine Toyota. I found the salesman knowledgeable and was very pleased with their financing. The advertised price on the truck was $1000 more than I'd seen the day before online. When I… asked about this they showed me that the online price had expired the day before. However, they still offered the vehicle for the lower online price. I have been very pleased with the truck and their service since my purchase. 9 months later I recommended Sunshine to my son who they also took very good care of and found a Camry that fit his needs for a great price as well. I would definitely recommend Sunshine to others and have with excellent results.Lack of Care at sunshine toyota battle creek!
by bourdain on 12/02/2008My wife and I purchased a brand new toyota from sunshine a year ago. The only pro was that we got the price and package we wanted. When we picked up the vehicle for the first time, there were already swirl marks and scratches on it. It… never was detailed for us. We brought the vehicle back 4 times. Two times were to fix scratches and the other two were to try to get them to detail it for us. It seemed like once we had bought the car, then they didn't care about us or the car. We even showed the owner G. M. how they failed to detail it properly and the scratches and he told us to come back again to have it washed and detailed. They did have a scratch doctor come out and fix the 2 big ones. Afterwords, we took the car to our own detail shop to have them fix all of their mistakes. We never received an apology from the salesman. Next time make sure your clients are happy before you cash your check. We'll continue to buy toyotas, but they want be bought in battle creek.Pricing issue
by muirph on 08/19/2008I visited this dealer yesterday looking for a pre-owned Sienna minivan. The salesman showed us a 2004 Sienna LE. He answered all our questions to our satisfaction. This was a CARFAX Certified vehicle that had a printed record for us to read… through. The salesman let us test drive the mini van. It seemed to operate very well. They were asking $14,950 but when we said we wanted to think about it for a few days, they offered $13,450 if we would buy it immediately. This was pressure that we did not like. We checked via phone with our son who checked on the dealer's website and found that this same vehicle (VIN checked) was at that moment being offered online by that dealer for $12,995. We told the salesman this. He said that he was not aware of that price, but that they would honor it. We still felt we were being pressured and decided to wait, feeling that the dealer should have offered the same price being offered online.. without our calling it his attention We thought that this was deceptive and so was a pricing issue for us. Although a very good vehicle, it was also beyond our budget, so we're still shopping elsewhere.
