by Pratana on 06/26/2018I was very happy with the service and especially the price of the vehicle! Pratana SoumphonphakdyUtter lack of Morals
by George-JustToShareMyStory on 04/13/2018I had been working towards a deal for a used vehicle at this dealership but the vehicle had a remnent cigarette odor that they could not mitigate. I then switched focus to a higher model vehicle that they had on the lot, but we could not… come to agreement on price. It was then suggested that I consider an "alternative" option, and was shown the company vehicle that the General Manager drove, as he was turning it in the following day for a new company vehicle. There was no cigarette odor in this vehicle, the vehicle looked clean and it was the model and year I was looking for, they were willing to sell the vehicle for the same amount as the 'smokey' one, and so I told them I would purchase it. They told me they would call me to come the following day if the vehicle was ready to be shown and we shook hands on our mutual intent. After a series of phone calls and email inquiry as to whether the vehicle was ready to be seen, I was finally sent an email stating that "No that vehicle is not for sale anymore sorry". I was stunned, and a subsequent email response was that "...it can be frustrating that the inventory moves so quickly...". I then went down and spoke to the staff in person and was told that that vehicle was actually the GM's personal property, and that he had taken a better offer. While I personally believe that this was a lie, I did not pursue the matter further. It is my opinion that, while this business practice may be technically legal, the moral character of the General Manager himself is poor. And if the GM of this dealership behaves like this, I suspect that the morals of the staff follows suit. I would strongly encourage prospective buyers to take their business elsewhere. They have no clue what's going on
by Upset on 04/06/2018My husband and I were shopping for a new mini van and we happened to be at Boch Honda West for service so we talked with a sales man there about the Odesey. He made us a great deal but didn't have the exact car we wanted but we put a… deposit down anyway. Later that day we were able to locate our desired vehicle & having given Boch the chance to obtain said vehicle, we decided to take our business elsewhere. We'll the short story of it is that it has been 17 days, and near daily phone calls and they are still holding our money. At this point, we will be contacting an outside agency to help us obtain our money because they clearly don't know how to process a refund. If they did, we'd have our money by now.Great day to buy a car, just not a great day to be a Pats fan...
by Kim on 03/27/2018Hi all. I bought my new CRV on Super Bowl Sunday 2018, (great day to buy a car, just not a great day to be a Pats fan)and remember my experience well. My mom came with me, as she’s usually the bad cop to my good cop. I worked with Amy… Parent, and I couldn’t have had a smoother experience. I knew what I wanted going in and she helped make my dream a reality!!! She was kind, patient and most importantly, not the least bit pushy, which, (no offense to some), sales people can be... She kept working with me to help reach a deal that I felt comfortable with and she made me feel as if I was buying a car from a friend of mine instead of a car salesperson. I highly recommend Boch West, and would ask for Amy if I were you. She’ll take good care of you. Thanks
by KenE on 02/15/2018Bought a 2018 CR V last week at Boch Honda in Westford. This is the first time I have owned a Honda. I have to say the experience was great from the moment I went online to inquire about a CR V. Amy Parent was able to listen to what I was… interested in and then help me to get what I wanted. She walked me through the process of trying out a vehicle to actually get the one I wanted. The business manager then helped me get the financing needed to drive away in my new CR V. After one week I have to say it has been an enjoyable experience. I hope all future experiences go as well.Review of Amy Parent by Matt L
by Matt on 01/19/2018Amy was fantastic. She did everything in her power to get me the deal I wanted to stay within my budget. She went out of her way to find me alternative options when our first negotiation went flat and I am incredibly happy with my… experience.[non-permissible content removed]!
by ErinMargaret on 01/06/2018Stay away! The price for a used car went up $1,000 overnight after I test drove & called to make my deposit. Reason...algorithm was off due to the snowstorm! I cannot stop laughing & cannot wait to share with my friends & family.Good Experience
by Vinnie on 11/28/2017With much of the car buying experience falling on the Sales Guy; I got lucky! Right from the beginning my guy Adrian was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I felt like he always had my best interest in mind.Dealer steals money!!
by Chris on 10/02/2017I placed a deposit on a car I was interested in so it wouldn't sell before I was able to see it, which I was told would be refunded. When I went to the dealership, the color wasn't what I expected and now I've left over 7 voicemail's for… multiple managers and not one person has returned my call. Do not place a deposit with them, better yet, DONT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR MONEY.Unscrupulous Dealership
by movedtoreview on 09/24/2017I've been a longtime Honda driver/buyer and would not recommend this dealership. They lied right to my face without batting an eye. Yes, we all expect to be lied to by car dealers but this was pretty bold faced. I looked at a used car… there 10 days ago and had a deal/offer...they were waiting to hear whether I would sell my car elsewhere or traded it in. I decided to not trade in my car and made an appointment to come back to Boch Honda West to buy the car I looked at. They told me by phone 'the car is available' and gave me an appointment for the next morning. They then texted me twice to confirm I was coming (a 45 minute drive btw) I arrived before they opened and took the car out for one more ride to be sure nothing had changed. After the drive I came into the dealership and told them I'd like the car. While they were 'talking to the manager' as these guys always do, I watched another person take the car out for a drive. They returned 20 minutes later and also asked to buy the car. Despite my 10 day relationship and my offer to buy the car (I even offered cash, that day)...after an hour of making me wait the manager came and told me 'the car is unavailable, we have a previous offer' ... they sold it to the person who drove it AFTER me (10 days after actually). So I don't know if they charged her more or what but they lied in either telling me it was available and giving me the second test drive OR they lied when the said 'we have a previous offer'. Either way, bold face lie. Stay away.Car Buying Made Easy
by LS on 07/13/2017We used Edmunds to find a car. Of the three dealerships who contacted us with quotes, we started with the one with the best price. We made an appointment and went to test drive the car. The price quoted to was the price we got the car… for (it was an incredible deal). No bait and switch. We completed the financing application and some other paperwork and then left for a previously scheduled appointment. We returned to the dealership two hours later, as planned, and saw the finance person within 5 minutes of our arrival. We were out of there in less than 45 minutes. As we live in another state, the car was delivered to us the next day, as arranged.Waste of time
by jessiet on 07/12/2017Boch Honda West has been the absolute worst experience I've ever had with a dealership. Coming here was a complete waste of time and I could not recommend that shoppers go elsewhere enough. My husband is currently in the market for a new,… small car, and on a Friday evening, we walked in to test drive a Honda Civic and a Honda Fit. We explained to the salesperson, Rick, that it wasn't our intention that day to buy a car, but to see which model my husband would prefer to own. Being a salesperson, he wasn't particularly enthused with the idea of spending time with us knowing it wouldn't lead to a sale for him, and boy did it reflect on his manners. I get that. He made no effort at small talk and was very brisk in getting our details. He took us on a short route around Westford to see how my husband would like the cars, and after that, had us wait around at the dealership some more so that his manager, Chris Driscoll, could try and convince us to buy a car. We politely told him that we were not interested in buying a car that day, and we went on our way. That weekend, we did some research and found a couple of different Civics that were competitively priced and located at Boch. We set up an appointment to come in on Tuesday at 6:45pm. We came in that day at around 6:30pm, and we were not seen until 7:30pm. This in itself was already frustrating enough; we walked in Friday and were immediately seen that day. If they were so busy and couldn't commit to the time, we would have preferred they had us reschedule so we did not need to waste our time waiting around. Is this supposed to be a sales tactic? Because honestly, it makes me want to walk out and do literally anything else, and not buy your car lol. Anyway, we were seen by Zach, who was very friendly, especially compared to Rick from the week before lol. He was personable and easy to talk to, and respected that we wanted to compare a few of the different Civics and also test drive our top 2, even though they closed at 8pm. We took a longer route around Westford to get a feel for the cars, which I appreciated. My husband decided on one of them, and we sat down with Chris Driscoll again to talk about paying for the car. Chris made no indication that he recognized us from a few days prior, and there were no smiles from this point on. The site that we'd found the low price for was TrueCar, and Chris was telling us that due to the "world created by TrueCar", the only way for them to sell the car to us for that price was for us to pay in full that exact same day. Didn't make a whole lot of sense when TrueCar stated that the price was good for the next 2 weeks from when we had the price checked, which was that day. We wanted to go through our bank to finance the car and we'd already spoken with them, but Chris was pushing really hard to have us finance a loan with them instead, that they were our bank's partners so there'd be no difference, and even brought over their business manager Rebecca Martinez to talk to us about it. He introduced her with "she's not here just to look pretty" as well, which was gross, and even she herself forced an uncomfortable laugh at that. We weren't interested because they were making us fill out additional paperwork to have my husband's credit checked, and just preferred to have the loan through our bank. We went around in circles, came to an impasse, and they said if we wanted the purchase and sales agreement from them to take to our bank, they could only do that if we came back the next day. We confirmed with them that Zach would be around the next day at 9am. It's 9:30pm by the time we leave the dealership Tuesday night; we headed straight there to make our appointment after work, and none of us had even had dinner. We were super stressed out, because in order for us to arrive at 9am the next day, we both needed to take time off of work. Wednesday morning, instead of working, we make our way over to the dealership for the purchase and sales agreement. Zach and Chris are nowhere to be found. Instead, we speak to Tom Pare, who has absolutely no interest in even pretending to want our business. He is hostile from the start, doesn't introduce himself, and says that they've increased the price of the car. We told him that we checked the price that morning, and we even have e-mail proof that it hasn't budged, and he interrupts us again to say that as a dealer, he was increasing the price for us. We leave extremely upset, as everything we had been through up to this point was for absolutely nothing. A few hours later, my husband gets a call from Zach apologizing for last night and this morning, asking for us to call them back. If Boch was interested in selling the car to us, it sure didn't seem like it. Wow. We would rather pay more to buy a car from literally anywhere else than to deal with these [non-permissible content removed] again. Time is just way more valuable than that. Learn from our terrible experience and go somewhere else.Boch Honda West
by Bigal on 05/22/2017Great place our salesperson had great knowledge of not only all The Honda products, but was very familiar with the cars on the lot. We bought 2 cars actually, we bought one and our son bought one.Great Dealership !!!
by BochHondaWestTOPS on 05/23/2017Amy, our salesperson, was great ! She asked us what we were looking for and picked out 2 CR-V's for us to test drive. After we decided on one, she worked with us on price and financing. ZERO pressure and very accommodating. We can't wait to… buy another car. Amy and Boch Honda West are great and very progressive in matching a quality vehicle at a fair price. Thank you again!!Honest sales
by RyanM on 05/14/2017I understand that dealers need to make money, but it seems that with a no-hassle approach, dealers could sell more models with less hustle. It would be so nice to simply walk away from a buying experience where you didn't feel exploited.… This was the experience with Amy Parent at Boch Honda West. She was transparent. She gave me her honest opinion and explained her bottom line and why the different models in question needed to be priced differently. It made sense and I appreciated that. Furthermore, when there was an issue with our paperwork, she drove an hour out of her way to deliver the corrected paperwork to my door. Simply put, I would buy cars more often if more salespeople were like Amy. Loving our new CRV! Thanks, Amy!Great Experience
by Sean on 05/08/2017I had been to five different dealerships before I finally made a purchase. There is no question in my mind that Boch Honda West was the most respectful and reliable dealership out of all of them. I worked with Amy Parent during the buying… process and she is as genuine and professional of a person as they come. I would recommend Boch Honda to anyone looking for a great buying experience.Poor Customer Service Skills and Decietful
by Qwicksilver on 03/26/2017We came in to Test Drive a Used Honda we found in boch Honda West Inventory. We could not test drive the vehicle because the salesperson was more concerned about going home on time. We came back the next day with a new salesperson assigned… by Management. After agreeing on a Price and both agreeing to split the price on extra cost options, they typed in us paying the full price for the extra cost items, even after Management verbally told the the finance clerk to charge us half price. The clerk then argued with us that our numbers and calculations were wrong and get us to sign the paperwork. The clerk also told us it would take about a 1/2 hour to type up the paperwork. It ended up taking the clerk 1 1/2 hours to type up the wrong paperwork! This made my wife over an hour late for work, but got Management to have the corrected paperwork ready for next morning. Both Sales and Finance would not let us leave with without any non-binding, rough daft copies of the paperwork. There is too much deception and lack of trust with customers at Boch Honda West. Car buyer be aware! They do not write what they orally agree on in final paperwork.Awful experience
by cgmaison45 on 03/12/2017This place might be there worst buying experience I've ever had. After being bombarded with phone calls and emails for a week I thought about making it over to the dealership. After all I had received over 20 calls and 15 emails. I let them… know Kelly blue book and a few other sites and said a certain amount for my car. They guaranteed they could beat it. So me and my 4 year old went in. They then proceeded to offer 3000 dollars less than the trade in value. Also taxes and all fees were said to included through email. This also changed once I went in and they were added. Do not use this dealership their prices are too high and they lie to get you to go in.Failed Massachusetts vehicle inspection
by JDWHonda on 01/10/2017I purchased a Preowned Certified 2015 CRV that failed Massachusetts vehicle inspection within 3 days. Having purchased from Ernie Boch Jr's Norwood location previously I thought I was in good hands - wrong. They mustn't do a full review of… the preowned vehicle here; they didn't know the window tinting wasn't acceptable, and there was also debris left in the seat pockets. Over several months I worked with them because I just wanted to love my new car (I wasn't interested in giving them a bad review). During that period of time I dealt with delays, miscommunications, crude messages left on my voicemail,... the GM told me I got a good deal. They wear you down by pretending they want to help and then avoiding you. Do not buy from this dealership!Hiding defect from the beginning
by Ravrider on 11/28/2016I bought a 2013 RAV4 on 11/11/2016, and pick up the car on 11/12/2016. Only until the last minute when I asked, then they told me there is only one key, and no owners any manual. The standard comes with 2 keys and manuals, they have the… obligation to disclose any missing equipment in advance. But they try to hide major defect from the beginning, and gave you pressure to buy the car. They also refused to reproduce the 2nd key or cover the cost if I but one from Toyota Dealer. the modern car key cost me another $300.Easy, Comfortable Buy / Trade Experience
by HeyGonzo on 09/13/2016This is our third car from Boch Honda West. This was the smoothest transaction of all. We had no pressure to trade our car in, but was potentially looking for a good deal on a car with less miles. We were paired with Chris Driscoll, and… glad we were. No pressure at all, just an easy person to talk to and deal with. In the end, my wife found a car that she liked, we received a good price for our trade, and sold.
