Exceptional Experience
by jcydzik on 08/17/2016I absolutely love this place! My whole family consistently comes back again and again because of the exceptional service and care. I just recently leased my first car by myself, and could not have had a better experience. I worked with… Elkin Pereanez and he was incredibly patient and helpful, making sure I had all of the information, never pressuring me, and going over and above. He let me drive around 2 cars multiple times, showed me all of my options, and really listened to my needs and worked with me on price, upgrades, and anything else he could fit into my budget to get the best deal! I will absolutely be coming back! Such a stellar experience here all around. If you are looking for a place to get your car, or service a car I would absolutely recommend it.Best Car Buying Experience Ever!
by Reed_Donahue on 05/13/2016I LOVE Toyota of Watertown! I started to come from another dealer because I had heard about the service being the best! They did not disappoint it is great! Amazing customer service. Then I was in the market for a new car so I went to… Toyota of Watertown. I met Andrew Pelletier and he was exceptional! He is so knowledgeable it was mind blowing. Really there was not a question I asked he could not answer. You can tell he takes the time to really get to know his products! He was candid, friendly, knowledgeable, respectful and did not try to push us into buying a car. I went in with my guard up ready for the hard sell, but Andrew gave us the space to make our own decisions! High High praise for ANDREW!Excellent Leasing Experience
by anonymous114 on 04/27/2016I came in for sales. I knew which car I wanted to lease before I came. I brought in an ad from another Toyota dealership and wanted to know if Watertown would beat it. The salesperson, Andrew Pelletier, came back 10 minutes later and… made an offer 12% lower than the ad. I accepted, but needed to come back five hours later to fill out the paperwork due to my schedule. I left after having spent about 30 minutes at the dealership. Andrew was very polite. While at home, Andrew Pelletier emailed me and suggested that I send him a bunch of information (pick a color, license copy, pay stubs, etc.) over email so that he can process the paperwork before I came back. I did so. Based on my color preference, he said the car would be ready for pickup in two days. Andrew was very responsive by email and phone during this process. I came back to the dealership five hours after I last left it. I signed a few papers with Andrew and waited for about 15 minutes for a financing guy, John Ziedins. Once with John, he explained a few additional features we had the option of purchasing in a very calm and non-aggressive/pushy manner. When I requested a few minutes to look over the contract carefully, he did not give me any grief. He was very polite. I left John's office and the dealership. I left after having spent about 45 minutes at the dealership this time. I came back two days later to pick up the car. We met with Andrew and Rick Hall from Customer Relations. Andrew showed us the car as much as we wanted to see it, and Rick gave us a quick "debriefing" (asking us to fill out a form about our experience, making sure we were happy, etc.). I spent about 30 minutes at the dealership this time. I give 5 stars for: 1) Competitive price, 2) Straightforward (i.e., not underhanded) negotiation (i.e., not tacking on charges afterwards), 3) Politeness of all staff I interacted with, and 4) Not dragging their feet and not keeping me there all day. I highly recommend working with Andrew Pelletier, John Ziedins, and Rick Hall at Toyota Watertown.I Highly Recommend Toyota of Watertown
by AlexHalsey on 03/15/2016I just recently bought a used car from Toyota of Watertown. I must say it was an excellent experience. My salesrep Raheem Obyat was professional, courteous and worked very hard to strike what I call a very fair deal. I will definitely be… back in the future when it comes to purchasing my next car.Great car buying experience
by Happyconsumer9 on 02/20/2016After visiting many other Toyota dealerships , i found Toyota of Watertown through an online ad. My salesman was Elkin Pereanez who was friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable. he was a pleasure to deal with. The sales manager was Ted… Karakostas who was also easy to deal with and friendly. My overall buying experience was great. I highly recommend this dealership and salesman.Repeat Customer (both sales & service), Elkin is great!
by whitneyg1 on 02/11/2016This is the second car I have leased through Watertown Toyota and I will continue to come back here both for the quality of their sales team and their service department. My lease wasn't up yet, so I was very clear that there were only… certain circumstances under which I would even consider getting into a new lease. Elkin listened to my specific goals and priorities and, together with the manager Dan, gave me a few options that would work for me, both car-wise and budget wise. Elkin was friendly and positive, and perhaps most importantly, I didn't feel pressured which is HUGE. While he was helping me, I also got the chance to see Elkin interact on the phone with one of his long-time customers, and it was clear to me that he takes the time to get to know his customers over time (if that is what you want/need - I was perfectly comfortable leasing a new car with him in one visit, but some people need multiple visits in order to figure out what car is right for them, and if that is you, Elkin is your guy... or just buy on the first go-round if you know what you want - he was great at that scenario in my case as well). Bottom line - I LOVE my new Prius C and thank you to Elkin for making it such a positive experience - I would recommend him and this dealership to anyone!Unpleasant Experience and rude Sales staff
by toyota_2323 on 12/24/2015We were searching for a car for our granddaughter to have for college and had experienced the Toyota of Watertown difference years ago with a favorite car purchase. So we talked over phone to Camilla , she said sales person name Edwin will… contact you, I thought must be special person she hooked me up rather she talked all about deal and process. We visited in person and dealt with a sales person name EDWIN URENA, that's the name on his business card he gave us upon arrival. He was nice in the begining, We set down and talk about my options. He keep asking me "Are ready to buy right now "loudly trying to embarrassed" front of other co-workers, if not- you are wasting my time" We were pleasantly surprised to find that dealership's unprofessional staff. We were ready. Matter of fact ,we needed two vehicles one small safe sedan and other AWD mid size or small SUV. for my wife . We were thinking to Lease and thorough whole process we were very disappointed He gave my wife tears in her eyes. While we were talking he just got up picked up his phone and walked out toward the parking lot. Too much pressure, or last minute changes attitude and tone of language. If you want a positive experience from start to finish, you got to be nice to the customer. Big difference between in past and now. I'll never recommend any one to purchase or lease from Toyota of Watertown. I am a local customer bought two vehicles in past. I rather drive 15 to20 minutes away to Another Toyota Dealership. I went to other dealership they were busy and well behaved, it means they are doing some right. If they keep this up they will destroy the reputation of their own. I own the company and have 230 Employees working also have 120 sales staff in my company No one behaves like this person. My daughter often goes in service dept. I wouldn't doubt about it. But you guys have lost my business Keep Honest folks of character, positive attitude. I'll never recommend and go back to Toyota of Watertown.HIGHLY RECOMMEND DEALER and DIMITRI
by Jodimanis on 10/07/2015This is the second car I have purchase from Dimitri! His professionalism, knowledge and personality make car buying a wonderful experience, I have already recommended him to a friend, and they purchased a car from him.Wonderful experience!
by Chloemichelle on 10/05/2015Finding an affordable, efficient, budget friendly car is no easy task. But Dimitri and the staff and Toyota of Watertown have been very helpful. I purchased a used 2010 Camry last April from them. Dimitri was great to work with. He really… listened to my car requirements and I was able to stay right on budget. Thanks Dimitri was a wonderful car buying experience!Competent and Professional Service Received
by nprockstar28 on 07/20/2015My 2004 Subaru Outback Wagon died on me last week so in haste I decided to purchase a new vehicle instead of getting it fixed. Getting it towed and repaired would have cost me thousands of dollars so it was in my best interest, and only… realistic option, to upgrade at this time. I had recently done some research on the Toyota 'Hybrid' line and decided to give the Prius III a test drive. My roommate was ranting and raving about how cool and economically cost efficient they are so I figured I would investigate before looking at anything else. I chose Watertown Toyota because my landlord recommended it to be the closest location with an outstanding reputation for excellence in customer service. Elkin approached me outside and ensured me that he would present me with a vehicle I couldn't turn down. Elkin qualified me on buying a brand new Toyota Prius contingent upon me having an acceptable credit score. I drive for Lyft fulltime so I wanted something reliable, stylish, cozy, and affordable on those long rides. The Prius III is the perfect car for me and will now save me thousands of dollars in fuel costs and maintenance repairs for years to come. I am also ecstatic that Elkin got me qualified for a 0% APR for 5 years with Toyota Finance Corp. I was so excited that I opted in for the 5-year/125,000 mile warranty as well which gives me valuable peace of mind and sleepless nights when it comes to any future car repairs. Elkin provided me with a hassle-free, fair trade-in, fanatical customer service experience. He was professional from the moment we met and I trust that I am in good hands with Elkin and his professional team at Watertown Toyota. Thanks Elkin...I will now be referring prospective car buyers to you! ;)Best Car Buying Experience
by Lbzetti on 05/20/2015I thought Toyota of Watertown would be like very other dealership I had been to. WRONG! They were nothing like any other dealership. The sales staff was super helpful. Elkin and Ted were readily available, answered all my questions,… were kind and curteous. They delivered what was promised. Elkin was easy to work with. I walked out with a new car with ease. I highly recommend Toyota of Waterown.Excellent Service!!!
by albertob10 on 04/29/2015Today I went off driving my beautiful Corolla S, which I leased for 24 months. The whole process was extremely smooth and pleasant with Elkin, the salesperson that helped me throughout the process. Elkin was very polite and helpful. I… visited other Toyota's and other brands dealers and there was nothing like Toyota Watertown. I extremely recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a smooth and clear process.new vehicle purchase
by markg20 on 04/08/2015I was looking to replace my 2007 crew max with a new one. My sales person was James D. and along with the sales manager my experience was a positive one. They gave me an incredible deal on the new truck and gave me a very fair price on my… trade in. Being under a time restraint I wasn't able to spend too much time there so James D. got me through all the paper work in excellent time. I would recommend Toyota of Watertown to anyone.great experience
by ksh3 on 02/20/2015had a good experience in sales ... Was helped by Dimitri Dmidis (James) for my sale... did an excellent job...recommend highlySmoothest first car buying experience!
by squarm on 11/04/2014This was my first time purchasing a car and I'd have to say that I made the best decision to walk into Toyota of Watertown, even though I thought I would not be able to find a car that met all the items on my wish list and also was within… my budget. Within a few seconds of my boyfriend and I arriving at the dealership, Elkin Pereanez, came up to us and he was the most professional and nicest salesperson from that moment we walked in till I picked up my car. He made sure to ask me for my budget and wishlist, and was honest with me about what model could meet my needs within my stated budget. What really showed me how genuine Elkin was about helping me find my perfect car was his close observance of my reaction to the first car (a Yaris) he showed me. He seemed to grasp what type of car I would be happy with and as soon as he noticed I was not fully enthusiastic about the Yaris, he made it clear he would not want me to take up time test driving it. Instead he suggested that I try out a Corolla and promised that he would do everything he could to get it within my budget. And he really came through on that! The funny thing is, I wasn't even planning on purchasing a car the day I went in. I just wanted to look around. But i fell in love with the car. Also even though Elkin pushed me to make the purchase that day, he was tactful and respectful in his approach, and his goal first and foremost was to ensure it was a purchase that I would be happy with in every respect. Pick up of the car was a breeze. Elkin was respectful of my time and made sure to ask me what particular features I would want him to run through. He also gave me a quick walk through of the servicing department. My interactions with the Finance Manager Ted, and also two different receptionists were just as professional, but also warm and friendly. The dealership clearly seems to take the time to hire the right people. I would highly recommend this dealership if you're looking to buy a Toyota and be sure to ask for Elkin.re: did not offer me much help UPDATE
by tjweave on 10/05/2014updated 10/20/2014I discovered emails in my spam so they did try to contact me with some general sales follow up after my initial visit to the dealership. But, the original salesman never followed up on the plug-in, which he had said they were having… delivered.Best. Experience. Ever.
by 1der_girl on 09/28/2014After going through a 6 month long ordeal with a local VW dealership, I was not looking forward to purchasing a new car... I was dreading it. I walked in to Toyota of Watertown with my guard up and a chip on my shoulder, and I was greeted… by a friendly, courteous staff who went above and beyond to make my car buying experience a positive one. Not only did Elkin help me pick a car that met all of my specifications, but the actual process of purchasing the new car through the finance department with Stan was quick and painless. I was pleasantly surprised to be done with the whole process (from walking in to walking out the door) in less than two hours. When Elkin walked me out to my new car, he paired my phone with the Bluetooth system and showed me that he had already transferred EVERYTHING- not just the license plates, but my roadside kit from the trunk, personal items from the glove box, magnetic bumper sticker and, yes, even the air freshener- with the utmost care and attention to detail. I have been purchasing cars from dealerships in states all along the eastern seaboard for years, and I have NEVER felt so good driving away. I only wish Toyota of Watertown, and Elkin in sales, had been my first stop!Toyota Watertown, MA - Horrible Experience
by kpnichols on 02/19/2009On 15 June 2007, I sought to finalize the purchase of a Toyota Prius at Watertown / Scion Toyota in Watertown, Massachusetts. I was unable to complete this transaction due to a refusal by the Finance Manager, Dan, (who has since been… promoted to Toyota / Scion Watertown's finance director) who refused the check I presented issued from the Navy Federal Credit Union (a national, military credit union). I was informed that the check was a "draft check" from a "preapproval" and that it must clear (which could take up to two weeks from the date received) and; therefore, it was not the equivalent of cash. (Dan knew I was renting a car because I had totaled my previous car, and that my insurance was no longer paying for the rental, as it took the dealership a few weeks to obtain the Prius. Hence, I needed an immediate turn-around on the new car. Dan had spoken to me earlier that day on the phone and assured me that if I came in, I would drive off with the car that day.) After refusing the check as payment, he did make an offer that if I signed up for Toyota Finance, I could have the car that day. He stated that I could refinance with my credit union at a later date. (I am inclined to believe that the reason he lied about my check was to push Toyota's finance plan onto me.) Dan stated that I did not have a legitimate check and that my loan was that of a pre-approved loan. He then stated that if I got my credit union to send him a letter backing the check via fax, he would be fine. My credit union then informed him that it was equivalent to a cashier's check and that there was no way it could bounce (my credit union refers to checks as 'drafts,' hence the confusion). I had the director of the load department speak with him via phone, and fax him two letters from the bank certifying the check's authenticity and promising to back it. Later that day, Dan stated he never received the faxes. Navy Federal proceeded to call him several times, and at one point, Dan yelled at the loan officer at Navy Federal and insulted her. His claims about the check proved false, and although I and Navy Federal Credit Union presented evidence to refute his claim, we were met with resistance, sarcasm and belligerence. He lied to me and told me that my credit union issued a similar check six months prior that bounced. It is impossible for a check of that nature to bounce since it is the equivalent to cash, and my credit union verified this fact. The events which unfolded amounted to unquestionably the worst customer experience I have ever received hands-down, in any customer transaction. In the end, the following transpired: ~I went back and forth with Dan several times over several hours, as did my credit union; ~I had to have Navy Federal cut a new check made out directly from my bank to Toyota of Watertown / Scion; ~The purchase of my car was delayed for five days, costing me $200 in rental fees; and, ~I had to take 1.5 days off work to deal with the whole episode; Following the experience, I called the dealership and spoke to a director who promised me that once they were finished with their relationship with me, which would include some free service, that I would be shaking hands with them. I never heard from Toyota Watertown / Scion again. All this in spite of the fact that I filed a complaint twice with Toyota; filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau (they responded to the complaint one day before the deadline, which did not give me time to respond); and, wrote every director there with a copy of the complaint I had sent to Toyota. My credit union has since blacklisted Toyota Watertown / Scion from their preferred vendors list. If you are thinking of buying a car, please stay far away from Toyota Watertown / Scion. I have previously completed the process of buying a car through Toyota, and I should add that I previously financed my car for over a year with Toyota, upon purchasing a car with [anotherFelix and crew
by jrjames on 07/09/2012updated 08/08/2025My buying experience was a pleasure. Bianca returned my call within the hour and gave me the info (would they match another quote) I needed to make the trip into Boston from my home on the North Shore. Felix was my salesmen and he was… totally mellow to work with and answered all my questions in a straightforward manner. Marion the business manager was efficient and not the least bit pushy. Very happy with what I got for my trade-in, and my new Taco. I do feel a bit bad for the guy who came back to buy the same truck while I was doing the paperwork though.Watertown Toyota Rocks
by llk313 on 11/08/2011updated 08/08/2025Did a lot of research on-line before I went in to dealership. They were great: no hassle, no haggle, no games. Very good experience with the sales people who were not pushy or slick. Highly recommend this dealership - especially Jon McGaw!Very good sales and sales manager
by dooh2 on 05/14/2012updated 08/08/2025I really like my sales, Felix. It turns out that there is not a lot supply for the color and spec of the car that i'm looking for in this area. However, my sales was still able to find me the car and the price I want.
