We hadn't bought new cars for 7-10 years and my husband and I were not looking forward to the preconceived hassles of negotiating. We couldn't have had a better experience at… Commonwealth. In fact the dealer called us and told us of rebates that we weren't even aware of and this was even after we had agreed on the purchase ofone of the two cars. by slwowski on 07/28/2010i went to commonwealth motors chevy dealer to buy a 2010 equinox and i am a returning client. last year i bought a 2009 silvaredo truck and i had such a great experiance that i came back to the same sales person. i had my husband with me… who has bone cancer and has a hard time walking. but that was no problem because alex and brian went over board to help make this as easy as possible. i love my equinox and wanted this car for over a year and alex and brian helped me fulfill my dream of owning this car. they found just what i wanted and i just love it. alex was so helpful in making me understand the wonderful features i have. he took all the time i needed even though it was time for him to finish for the day to explain everything i needed to know, he even set up my bluetooth so i didn't have to read how its done. i will diffently recommend alex and commonwealth to all my family and friends. i will also be a repeated customer again if need be thank you alex and brian s lwowskiGreat dealership!

I went to a couple of dealerships and no other dealership was… as accomodating as this one. My salesperson was easy to access, was very knowledgeable and the rest of the staff was also easy to work with. I am a repeat customer with Commonweath Motors and have been very happy with both purchases made. Everyone that I dealt with at Commonwealth… was a pleasure to deal with. My Salesman, was sincere, friendly and extremely professional, the finance manager was also very helpful and understanding and took the time and care to be sure I was getting what I wanted and needed in my car purchase. Unlike the other reviews i have nothing but good things to say about the service and how i was treated when i purchased the Vehicle. Brian Hess the sales manager helped track the… car along the way, the finance department got me a great interest rate and the price of the car was way more than i could have even expected when i went into the dealership, and the price was locked from when i ordered till delivery. Thank you Commonwealth Motors for making a longtime customer for many years to come!Very Bad Experience
by steve17000 on 10/10/2009I have previously bought several new cars elsewhere, But have Never experienced the lies, deceit, tricks, and harassment as I did at "Commonwealth Motors". The staff is VERY unprofessional & rude and will attempt to cheat you until the very… last line is signed..IE: I was never told about a $1,5000 cash back offered directly by "Honda Motor Corp." When I became aware of this this cash back incentive--(one day before I was to pick up the bought car) Commonwealth Motors "sales "team" said that they had included the $1,500 cash rebate into the price I was given for my trade-in. I told them, due to these circumstances, I no longer wanted this car. I was then told by Joe Gerbino, the sales manager, "Too bad, your signiture is all over this contract now". If you do decide to buy from Commonwealth Motors, please bring your best attorney and video tape everything.DAHERS COMMONWEALTH MOTORS MOST IRREPUTABLE DELAER I HAVE EVER SEEN
by largonan on 09/28/2009Bought a use car, a true Lemon. While under Manufacturers warranty, car was repaired. Since car is under Commonwealth's warranty, forget about it! Owned a car for 9 months, driven it 4 months! Call them with a problem, wait weeks for… them to return the call while the car sits on the lot waiting to be fixed. They are definitely the worst. Don't even be tempted to buy there, you will be so sorry. Once they sell it is all over!!! MOST IRREPUTABLE I HAVE EVERE SEEN!What a Joke!
by merrimack on 08/28/2008I stopped by this dealership last week to inquire about a new 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt for my daughter. I talked with salesperson Mike Ortiz about leasing options and he talked to his sales manager Brian. Ortiz told me I didn't want to lease… because according to his sales manager the lease payments would be $800 a month. I asked him to refigure their rates and call. Now 10 days later there is no follow up, no return call, nothing. We ended up going to a Nissan dealership, leasing a 2008 Sentra for $237 a month. Commonwealth Chevrolet spends $1000s in advertising but drops the ball in their sales department. Don't waste your time going here; what a joke of a dealership.Great Experience

I shopped a TON of dealers and lots looking for just the right bargain, so I dealt with a lot of salespeople before meeting him. He was more thorough,… prompt, and friendly than any other I dealt with in my search. As for the vehicle, I'm not convinced the "detailing" folks were on their game that day (still crud stuck to the insides of the cup holders from previous owners, for example) but that's trivial and I'm entirely satisfied with the price I paid for the vehicle I got.Thank you for taking the time to write this review, Laura! A great experience

The salesman, Jim Kowalik, went to great lengths to make my car-buying experience as smooth & positive as possible. He was very knowledgeable, helpfully pointing out that the 2012 & 2013 Cruzes… had an 4 inches more front legroom than the used 2011 I'd originally gone to look at & arranging for me to get the same incentives on a 2013 that they were offering on the 2012s. When the finance dept. needed to have me sign some papers after I'd left the dealership, he went out of his way to bring them to me at work an hour away! A few days later, I received a hand-signed thank you note from the owner & a box of chocolate chip cookies. I would definitely recommend them!Excellent Experience

Yes, You Will Love Them!

After having gone to a few other dealerships, I located a vehicle that was at Commonwalth Chevy. When I walked into the dealership I was approached by a salesman… named Chris D. Chris did not give me the usual run around or let me talk to my manager 10 times game. The price of my vehicle was already well below book value So I didn't really have to haggle on price. Chris was very knowledgable and friendly throughout the whole car buying proccess. from the time I walked into the dealership till the next day when I drove off in my car not even 24 hours had gone by. They did a great job handling all of the paperwork and RMV proccessing and it made it a breeze. The service department is very impressive and when you look into the service garage you know it's a pretty serious operation. The waiting area is also very inovative and comfortable. I have to say in all the years of purchasing a vehicle, Commonwealth Chevy was the most pleasant dealership I have dealt with. Thanks Commonwealth, and Thanks Chris D.Excellent experience

Just be fortunate you never actually leased the car. You think it is bad during the sales process, just wait unitl you have the car. You are lucky, I unfortunately am not!
