    I recently leased my fourth Tahoe from Amesbury Chevrolet and continued to get the same great service which is why I returned. It is not the closet Chevy dealer to me but I keep going back because it is always a good experience. This is the second vehicle I leased with John Schiavoni as the sales person - he is the main reason I continue going there. Up front - honest - and down to earth. Takes the time to go through all the lease options to find what works best.

  • Dealership didn't fully honor corporate discount

    Dealership did not honor a GM sponsored $500 discount, indicating that the discount is "automatically" applied to every sale at the dealership. I do not believe this to be true, since why would GM have the discount to limited corporations across the US. The dealership did agree to a $250 discount. In addition, the sales manager never congratulated us on our purchase which was disappointing.

    From the first moment I met my salesperson, Makenzi, until I finalized my lease and drove off in a new Trailblazer, she was a pure pleasure to do business with from start to finish! She carefully took note of everything I was looking for, remained conscious of my budget, while keeping in mind what vehicle might work for me as they came into the dealership. She did a phenomenal job of matching me with just the right vehicle, at a price even better than I expected!! Always professional, thoughtful and kind, I will definitely return when it's time to look at a new lease. In fact, everyone there that worked on my lease was great!

    Drove 11/2 hours to appt to see car.Got there told it just sold,but could sell me another.No phone call or email nothing. What a waste of time

    Recently bought a 2015 2500hd and my buying experience was outstanding. Mike was the salesman who sold me this took, he did an awesome job and I'm very impressed with him. In the future when I'm in the market for a new truck I will most certainly be returning to not only Mike but to Amesbury chevy. I have no complaints and thus far could not be any more satisfied. Thank you!

    It was a great experience at the dealership and the John J. the sales associate even came in on his day off to deliver my truck to me. I will recommend Amesbury Chevrolet to my friends and family!

    Since I had to complete the purchase over the phone and online from Japan, the time difference added an extra level of difficulty and required more coordination. Amanda Chiet went above and beyond my expectations to have the car ready upon my arrival.

    Chris took great care of me with the whole process. One day I was there he politely excused himself for a minute and came back balloons for my 2 year old. Couldn't have asked for better attention and response to any questions I had. My family will definitely be back for another car purchase if the dealership continues to handle customers with the same regards.

    Everyone was extremely friendly and understanding to what We could afford, and what we were looking for! Our salesman Stephen Buonomo as well as the front Staff were fantastic! I will be returning in a couple of year's when I am ready for my second vehicle! Made our shopping fun! Wish all dealership's were like Amesbury Chevrolet~ Shari Dupra

    Bought a certified pre-owned 2010 cobalt. After a year we found out my wife was pregnant so we went to look at a larger vehicle. Ended up getting a used 2007 jeep grand Cherokee. Went for an oil change at Midas a couple months later to only find out the vehicle needed all new struts and shocks a $2,000 repair easily. None of the required maintenance was done before being sold. They didn't replace to protect their bottom dollar.

    Bought a '07 Pontiac Solstice GXP in Aug of '10. Salesman and manager said it was loaded with everything including Onstar. Signed papers on a Sat. and came back on Mon. to finalize, they asked for my paperwork back and had me sign new one for reason I forget. New one didn't have Onstar listed as option, which was written on the first one. I didn't want to pay monthly for Onstar, so didn't know I didn't have it till coworker with a solstice told me I didn't have Onstar because no buttons on rearview mirror. Dealership had VIN number wrong on paperwork, Geico caught that!! I have a $70 code reader and it does VIN numbers (bought because of this car and my others). Typical price pressure sales of all salespeople, auto or otherwise. Wouldn't say they were bad people, but not the best either. Check your Edmunds pricing on your trade-in and purchases and be prepared to walk away if you don't get your price, they'll call you back. This applies to any car dealer/ car purchase.
