Great Dealership

1. Darin Elmore, my salesman, was attentive, professional, and helpful 2. Ken, sales manager was gracious with his time, even though he was only indirectly involved 3. Kimberly Francis, Delivery Specialist, was excellent, helpful in both giving me many tips, but also suggesting that I read the manuals. I would not have planned to "dig in" to the several manuals; but did so at her suggestion, prior to our meeting, and I found this to be very valuable. 4. Love the Subaru Outback Touring model so far, and love all the tech features; 5. One negative is the lack of a forward sensor to detect a wall or rear of garage, etc

outstanding helpful friendly service

Our salesman Peter C. gave us excellent service. He was patient, helpful and informative as we struggled to decide on our first new Subaru since we bought our Outback in 1999. We were demanding customers. Peter and his colleagues at Fitzgerald were understanding and sensitive to our needs thoughout a process that began in July and just ended with our purchase of a 2014 Forester todayNov 16. We test drove many older Outbacks,even bought one and returned it within their 5-day policy when uncomfortable with the gear ratio - money back no questions asked. Peter must have spent 15 hours helping us.

stay away

Collection of people who do not what they are talking about. The told me I can pay my down payment with credit card and when I got there I was told I can't pay with a credit card. They told me I will get a two year tag and registration fee and gave me only one year. four of their sales people told me I do not to do anything to get my permanent tag in my state only to find out later by myself I need to provide them with emission and inspection papers. Stay away from this place. I should not have bought my car from them. I know I am not servicing my car with them.

I bought a Subaru Impreza in the Spring of last year, and so far, my experience with Fitzgerald Suburu has been fine. My service writer, Ken H., is always pleasant, knowlegeable, professional, and gets me in and out as quickly as possible, since he knows I always have to wait for my car. The work has been done right the first time, and I've got no complaints to date. Judy F.

Great Leasing Experience

We wanted to lease a vehicle but didn 't know much about the process. Peter Z walked me through it and offered a great deal. No pressure, just answered all my questions. Couldn 't have received better treatment anywhere. Have already recommended Fitzgerald Subari to many friends.

overall positive sales experience

I bought a new '09 Forrester. This is a no-haggle dealer so the price posted is their price. I felt their pricing was reasonable & not worth looking elsewhere for the possibility of saving a bit more, but likely not enough for the time & aggervation it would require. Time does indeed = money. Once I agreed to the price, here's where I wasn't too pleased with the experience. I also wanted some dealer add-ons. Since I had my old car, I was in no hurry to get this new one, for which I was paying cash. The delaership wanted the new car off their lot almost immediately after I agreed to the purchase. Apparantly, not all of the add-ons were stocked & needed to be ordered. I was hoping they'd install the add-ons, then I'd go fetch it as I live about 35 miles away. But since I was paying by check, they were reluctant to install these items until they were sure my check would clear. And since they seemed to want the car off the lot ASAP - I had to return the 35 miles about a week later, drop-off the new Forrester & take a "loaner" car, which is really a rental from their in-house car rental franchise. I felt as though I was renting from ENTERPRISE, having to mark every little scratch on the "loaner" vehicle or else pay insurance on this car that I was given while my new car was having these add-ons installed. A few days later, I returned the "loaner" & drove my car home again with the added accessories. In short, I had to make two extra trips there than I felt were necessary. If I lived closer, I wouldn't mind as much. For the sales experience this worked out, but overall, it could have been better.

great sales experience

I bought my 2009 subaru outback in March 2009 at the Fitzmall White Flint (or "No. Bethesda") dealership and if you could describe the perfect buying experience, that was it. I went in really to test drive because their prices were the best, but because there was no room for an over-allowance, didn't expect to get a good offer on my trade. But they made a good offer on my trade, I countered it a couple of times, and that was it. The rest of the deal went very smoothly. There were no sales games - what a relief. The salesman (I'll call him J) offered a test drive - which went very well. He was knowledgeable and friendly and there was no pressure. The pricing was perfectly straight-forward. I highly recommend fitzmall.

Excellent service from Fitzgerald

I have had my cars serviced at Fitzgerald Subaru for many years and have always received outstanding work from their service department. Their service department has been very professional, friendly and helpful every time I've been there. I've never had a problem with any of the work done on my cars and the price has always been reasonable. I have also purchased a car at their dealership and have had a few instances where I needed some warranty/recall work done. They have gone out of their way to facilitate me and my work schedule in those times. I would recommend Fitzgerald to anyone looking for great service at a great price.

Positive browsing experience

We recently visited Fitzgerald Subaru to look at the 2009 Impreza. Although we ended up purchasing a different make and model that better met our needs, we came away from our stop at Fitzgerald with a positive impression. Our sales representative was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, including during the initial look at the car as well as during the test drive; the dealership appeared to have a fairly large inventory and a fairly up-front approach to doing business.

Great Service Department

I would like to offer my high praise of the Fitzgerald Subaru service department located at 11411 Rockville Pike, Rockville Md. This is by far the best place I have ever taken a vehicle for recommended services. The operation they have there is efficient, pleasant, professional, and I can't say, effecient enough times. No matter what services are being performed on my 2005 Impreza Outback Sport, I am never in the waiting room for more than an hour. From the person taking the vin number to the cashier's sign out I am always impressed by the speed and competence in which the tasks are handled. I would especially like to say how pleased I am by the attention given to me by the service managers at the sign in desk. They always tell me what my car needs and stamp my service book as well as recommending what saving coupons are available for me that day. In every step of the process, I know my car is going to be treated well and returned to me clean and in perfect working order. I have the utmost confidence in this aspect of the visit. I do not have to drive off and wonder if any wheel bolts are loose, any caps not tightened. I have been driving in the Washington area for 35 years and have owned several makes of cars which have been serviced at dealers as well as independent shops. My experiences with those service departments have often been unpleasant, costly, and most aggravatingly time consuming. My experiences with Fitzgerald Subaru service are so convenient and hassle free that I am wishing I had been buying Subarus there from the beginning.
