Car Sale and Service

Johnathan was friendly and walked me through ever step of the way. Vinny was thorough and got my approval was ease. I was… happy with the all around friendliness of the staff. Even the staff who was assisting other customers said, "Good afternoon" as they walked by. I was offered refreshments and a quiet place to take my business conference call. This will be my forever car dealership.Your time and business mean the world to us! Customer Service is imperative in any business. Without our customers, we would not be here. Check Engine Light came on 1hr after purchase. 7 day exchange is misleading
by Sonia_H on 11/21/2015I purchased a car from Easters in Laurel, MD. While driving home the check engine light came on. Easters was closing as we were leaving so I had to wait until the morning to let them know that the car I just purchased check engine light… came on. My intentions was to bring the car back the next day and have them check it out. That morning my husband called about the check engine light. Danny N. told him to bring the car back on Monday and they will send it to the shop. That was very odd to me since we had just purchased the night before. I called Danny N. back myself and told him that Monday wasnt good for me because I had to be to work so he said bring it on Sunday and they would give me a loaner because Monday was the soonest they could get the car to the shop. Sunday we took the car back and Danny N. wasnt there but another gentleman was able to provide us with a loaner and take my car. The paperwork I was given said that my car would be ready on. Monday I called Danny N. and asked him what would be the procedure if I decided to exchange it for a similar car. He said he would have to check with his finance manager and call me back. I never received a call back. On that Tuesday again I called and spoke with Danny N. he said he would check on my car, I told him that I wanted to know what I needed to do if I wanted a similar car which was $2k more than the one I purchase and Danny N. said he would have to check with his finance manager and call me back later they were going to a meeting. Again no call back, so I called him back when I was leaving work and he stated he had just gotten back from a meeting and the finance guy wasnt available but he would check with him when he got a chance and call me back later that day. (still no call back). On to Wednesday, I called Danny N. and before I could ask him about the financing he told me that my car was still in the shop and he would call to get a status. I said I was calling to see if he spoke to his finance manager about the similar car I had called about the day before. He stated that my financing was approved and that I would have to refinance the car in order to exchange it for the similar car. Keep in mind I didnt even have the initial car for a good hour before the check engine light came on. I asked him about the 7 day exchange policy since I was still within the timeframe and he said that since I was approved that didnt apply to me and I would have to come in and speak to his manager. When reading the 7 day exchange policy nowhere does it say doesnt apply if you were approve for financing! It reads if you are dissatisfied with your purchase, we give you a one-time option to exchange the Car within 7 calendar days of the date of this Order for any other car then existing in our inventory (Replacement Car). I clearly fall into this category since the car I purchased presented a problem as soon as I got it home. The general manager started talking about restocking fees & financing already being approved. He said that he would have to send a note up to corporate to see what they could do and may be able to waive the restocking fees. We told him to call the bank since the amount I was approved for would cover the other car. The general manager called my husband today & told him that if I wanted the other car I would have to pay $3500 more & the interest rate was going to increase. This is crazy. I was approved for enough to cover the cost of the similar car so why should I have to put down more money and have the interest rate increased when the car I purchased is still in the shop & today is day 9. (2) You have a 7 day exchange policy that doesnt say anything about if the finance is approved it doesnt apply. I am very disgusted with the way this whole situation is being handled. Why have a 7 day exchanged policy if you are not able to make an exchange within 7 days. I think the exchange policy wouldve been the right thing to do especially since I was still within my 7 day timeframe & this is day 9 and I do not know when the car I purchased will be returned to me!Sonia, We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience that all of this has caused you. It is never our intention to make our customers experience this kind of service. There is no excuse for it. However, we will say that sometimes miscommunication plays a big part into why situations like this are not resolved in a timely matter. We will do our best to improve everything we can to ensure a situation like this never happens to you or anyone else in the future. Thank you for your business!
A Great Eastern's Customer Experience!

Mr. Jason Barrow listened to how and what brought me to the Laurel MD location 3 hours later, I had the keys to a 2011 Subaru Outback. This is the 1st time I have ever… purchased a pre-owned car and it was a pleasant stress free event. I could not afford to buy a new car.
