by John A on 08/30/2024My 2010 E350 was towed in after getting flooded out on the drivers side, front and back, during heavy rains after storm Debby passed through. I had no idea how the water got in, but apparently there are drainage tubes in the sun roof that… got clogged somehow. The Service rep and I chatted via text and confirmed the diagnosis and service needed and I also added a few things that needed to be done to the car. When I went to pick it up the A/C did not work. Without offering any reason for how that might have happened, they put new refrigerant in the car and sent me off with no charge for that.John, thanks for sharing your experience. by JettaRed on 02/16/2024Mercedes-Benz of Hagerstown sets the standard for excellent service. They have raised the bar for customer service, making it tough for others to follow. I recently took my car in for a repair under a 3rd party vehicle service contract… (a.k.a. an extended warranty) for a broken power seat. What should have been a slam dunk for the repair because it was clearly covered by the VSC, turned into a nightmare dealing with the warranty company. Long story short, Mercedes-Benz of Hagerstown was patient and diligently pursued coverage for the repair. They could have easily told me that I would have to pay first and recover from the other party, but they did not. Instead, they provided me a loaner for over three weeks for a repair that should have taken three days. In the end, all I had to pay was my deductible, which they further discounted with a coupon I had brought in. At a time when many car dealerships have notoriously bad reputations, Mercedes-Benz of Hagerstown is a bright and shining star. There is a reason they have an average of 4.7 out of 5 stars with over 1000 reviews on Google. I highly recommend them for servicing your car. I do a lot of my own automotive work but will always use them for stuff I can't handle.We're so glad to know that our team at Mercedes-Benz of Hagerstown was able to assist you effectively and make your repair experience a positive one. The loaner car was clean and ready for me when I dropped off my vehicle. My car returned to me promptly and I was notified of… completion via text message. The courtesy inspection of my vehicle revealed a leaky valve stem on one wheel that was replaced. I am very pleased with the service and the people I encountered.Happy so far

The people are friendly and they stuck to the time line I was given which is extremely important, especially when you are waiting. Pricey, yes, but everyone knows that… before buying! Well in this case the Mercedes Benz located in Hagerstown MD is just that, simply the best in the country. The God-like level of customer service provided is… something I have never experienced from a car dealer or probably any service related experience I’ve had in my life. I simply mean what I say that these guys are hands down the best in the country. It all starts from the excellent leadership of the service manager Marty Gillions, who is probably the nicest, most caring guy I’ve ever met in my 4 years dealing with Mercedes Benz dealers. I mean this guys takes challenging issues/problems and makes them look like a walk in the park. Marty is truly an experience professional at the very top of the line. Marty and his team of professional at every level were not only able to solve every issue I’ve presented them with, But went ABOVE and BEYOND every single time. Starting from the nice and friendly/funny Beth Jackson at the service desk to the knowledgeable, talented and experienced service advisor Alex Folz who always gives me the best advice on dealing with my car all the way to to Marty himself who is just simply a BEAST at what he does. Overall I would strongly recommend anyone in the country come give them a try, I’m confident It would be the BEST sales/service experience you would ever have. I’ve dealt with dealers all over the country and The Mercedes Benz at Hagerstown are simply the Best, hands down.
