by Lele on 06/03/2025updated 06/11/2025We are a Toyota family. We have brought many Toyota’s from Lake Charles Toyota. I went in on a Saturday May 17th and purchased a 2025 4Runner. The following Tuesday I went up there and picked up the new 4Runner. The next couple of mornings… when I was leaving when I would back up the brakes made a horrible high pitched squealing sound. I thought maybe they are morning dew on them so I didn’t really think much of it. Memorial Day weekend came and I really didn’t go anywhere. Leaving for work the next day the brakes were horrible again, to the point of embarrassing. I felt like I was waking up the neighborhood. The next morning I moved my truck so my husband could leave and I said good I want you to listen to my brakes when I back up. Once again the loud squealing sound was horrible. He told me to call our salesman Bobby and to let him know. I even took a video of the noise that the brakes were making. I sent Bobby a message and he talked to a service advisor and I was basically told Toyota knows about the problem and it is under investigation and we should have an answer in the near future. I feel like the truck was sold to me with a chance of something being wrong with the brakes. I felt like Bobby didn’t care and that really pissed me off because I’ve brought at least 5 vehicles from him. I was so mad I told him I wanted my 2021 4Runner back. All he did was set me up an appt to go up there on a Saturday morning which that was a complete waste of my time. The only person that has seem to even act like they cared about what’s going on was the guy that helped us and I think his name is Clay Hebert. He made me an appt with the master mechanic and that is next week. So to say I’m heartbroken is an understatement. I felt like once I was sold the vehicle is was now my problem and if Toyota knows what is going on and is investigating the problem I feel like I should have been told something when I brought the vehicle. I will probably never buy another vehicle from there. I have a daughter that has her permit and I would rather go to Lafayette and buy from Hampton Toyota then buy from here. The complimentary concession is awesome for the kids or when waiting for service to be done on your vehicle. We bought a new 2025… Sequoia and they have been there for us every step of the way. They are knowledgeable and ready to help in any way possible. Even the staff not helping you personally are checking up on you making sure your needs are met. Really a great place to be. You feel at home there for sure. I will be back in a few years for a Tundra.Amazing Customer Service
by Megan Geis on 05/31/2025I came to Toyato Lake Charkes after leaving the Honda dealership after a horrible experience. I meet Chris Damian when I walked up. He was nice & friendly. I told Chris D the experience I had at Honda and then told him what I was looking… for. He took the time and helped me find the car I was looking for. It started raining and Chris brought the 2022 RV4 under there awning, so I could look at it. I meet AW Broussard before I first test drove a 2022 RV4 XLE. Was a good SUV but had too many miles. Then looked at the 2024 RV4 XLE with less miles on it. He walked me through the whole process. Chris Damian and AW Broussard was amazing to work with. AW worked with me to help get my car payment where I felt comfortable. I wouldn’t have asked for a better experience.Thanks John Breaux

If you are considering buying a new or used car, this was hands down the best place to do business. My only negative experience has been a question of ethics on repair replacements of parts that have been recommended at oil… change intervals after the dealership’s courtesy inspection. The prices can be very exorbitant and some unnecessary. Very profitable for the dealership. Bad for the unsuspecting customer. Otherwise my experience was great!Great Job

He a great person and with A.J one of the sales managers they got me to the price I needed . All… the people at Toyota of Lake Charles r family oriented and when it comes time for me to need another ride I will be going back t the same people , Chris me AJ T Toyota of Lake CharlesCouldn't have gotten better service.
