Completely Horrible

I had been a customer of Edwards for over 14 years, and my family, & I have bought over 11 cars with them. This last experience was horrible. We bought a 2017 Chevy Silverado from them and were told since the finance paperwork was messed up they would make it right and then we were told later this person couldn't do it. I was contacted by the manager and he was supposed to call me back on Monday and here it is Saturday no call. I left him 2 messages on Friday and still no return. I will have to say that this company has gone downhill over the last few years. I will never buy from Edwards again! The service department is just as bad when it comes to things. I have given Edwards far too many chances to make things correct.

My wife and I had an absolutely great experience at Edwards Hyundai. We bought a used Santa Fe. Which we are extremely happy with, but it was the sales person and the manager that really put the experience over the top ( the cherry on top). Mike Gold and John Blankenship worked very hard to make sure we were satisfied and went to the lengths that I’ve never experienced at other dealers. It was almost odd but they were genuine and made a great transaction. I appreciate them making my wife happy. Lol😀😀😀

Follow through with what you say

I was in to purchase a vehicle on a Friday. My service and sales person was exceptional while I was there. I got approved for a vehicle I didn’t want and was told they would work on it again Saturday and to call if I didn’t hear from him. I called at the end of the day but said too busy to work on it would on Monday and he would call me. Here it is Wednesday, have not heard from anyone from the dealership even to tell me they didn’t have any luck. So, I was pleased and impressed that Friday, but now I am not impressed.

AMAZING SERVICE DEPARTMENT

First and foremost Amy is by far the best employee in the service department! She goes above and beyond for everyone! My car was put in the shop, not only did she get me right into a loaner vehicle but I told her I needed my car before the weekend she delivered exactly that!! She definitely deserves recognition for all her hard work!! Thanks again Amy!!

Service Department

I was very pleased with the service on my Hyundai this past week. Bryce Jacobs was friendly, professional and treated me as if I were his only customer. The individual attention he gave me made my visit somewhat relaxing and comfortable; even though the cost was a bit steep. (I had a few parts replaced on my 2012 vehicle.)

Waste of time

I started dealing with alex young on February 13th. We found a Kia Sorento that we were interested in I sent him all my income info and everything before I even met in person. I came late to take a test drive we liked it so I went and put a down payment on it. So they started the paperwork and since it just came in from a fresh trade in they had to do some work to it. Over a week won’t by and nothing had really happened then he emails me and tells me to come in and sign loan papers and talk to finance. So I drove the 80 miles to go up there and sign loan papers and when I got there found out the car wasn’t fully ready to take home. So I was irritated but was excited that we were gonna get a new car so we left. A few days later we got a call it was ready to pick up. We go 80 miles again and then when Alex gets the vehicle to the front one of the doors won’t unlock. So by this time I was frustrated and just wanted to take the car home. So we did with an arrangement that they would come bring a loaner and pick up the car and fix it. After a week I get an email that they are coming to pick up the car the next day and drop off a loaner. So we have the car for 8 full days and liked it also. So we get the loaner all goes well I have random calls from Luis in finance and talking back and forth to the finance company about my w2s and no one tells me that I need to put anyone else on the loan though so I’m like ok they are just doing a lot of information gathering. 9 days after I get the loaner I get an email from Alex my cars ready to pick up but I need to have my wife fill out an application. That’s it so I think it’s just for her to upload her income not to be added on the loan. But when she goes to upload it wants to add her to the loan and she’s currently in the process of fixing her credit so we declined. So then I start emailing Alex back and forth and end of the story I ask for my money back and that I’m coming up at 7 the next night to drop off the loaner and get my money. He never fully said he would give me the cash back but said he would take care of me... the next day I go up there and low and behold he doesn’t take care of I go up 80 miles one way in the fog and mist to deal with this to only be hit with that he had to give me a check but they weren’t able to because it was after 3pm but he knew I was going to be there at 7 so any reasonable person would have had a check ready even though I asked for cash since that’s how I paid them. But he brings in the sales manager who did a good job at defusing the situation but needless to say I left without my money the next day after phone tag a few times they sent a runner to bring me my check.... so if you want the run around and spend numerous drives up there to ultimately come away empty then I can tell you Alex young is the man to go to.... but I will never ever set foot on any Edwards dealerships ever again with how much time and money was wasted on this experience.....

Alex was GREAT

Went on line to True Car and found my Hyundai Ioniq. Immediately received an email from Alex. Within 4 hours I had purchased the new car and it was delivered to me. No nonsense. No problems and immediate service. I would highly recommend Edwards and if you want excellent customer service Alex is your guy.. Thanks ALEX

This was the most stress free major purchase I ever made. Sam Chatham handled everything from finding the right vehicle to getting the right financing to sending the right person to pick me up. Everything about this major purchase was professional and efficient.

Not Honoring a Deal

I went to this dealership for a test drive of a Hyundai Santa Fe that I clicked on a link on the Hyundai USA website for offering $50.00 for a test drive. I met with Alex [contact information removed] and he showed me a great vehicle. I reviewed my finances when they showed me the financing and decided to wait until a later date to possibly get a new car. I tried to redeem the $50.00 reward and Alex said his Internet Manager was out of town and would approve it when he got back. A couple weeks went by and nothing was issued to me so I texted Alex back and asked him what was up. He said he would talk with the Internet Manager and get it approved. I gave him the code again. Nothing again for weeks. I finally reached out again and asked what was up and Alex told me that they were not going to honor the gift card and that their facility did not participate in the program that Hyundai USA clearly showed they were still a part of when I looked. I called Hyundai USA customer service twice now and still have never gotten the gift card. I was told by Alex that he would be glad to take $50.00 off a vehicle purchase if I was so concerned about the $50.00. What it boils down to is that they try to get you to come in and make a sale. I didn't want to be car poor and was making a financially sound decision by refusing to buy a car at that time. Alex gave many rebuttals to get me into a car that I clearly could not afford as I reviewed my own finances and know what I can and cannot afford. What upsets me even more and is making me post this on all the review websites is that the dealership would rather have bad press than to HONOR a gift card for what I clearly signed up for per Corporate and was told the dealership would honor and they backed out of paying it completely. I still to this day have not received my $50.00 visa giftcard.

When I bought my Azera, I had top notch service! My sales associate was very professional, not pushy, and met my needs. Jared Foote is an asset to your team at Edwards hands down! He is a sharp looking young man that presents himself well and gets the job done to his customer’s satisfaction. We were extremely pleased with our buying experience and I LOVE my Azera! *He also took the time to show me how to set up all the bells and whistles on the inside which I appreciated!

Wow, just WOW!

Zach Z. was our sales representative when leased a Hyundai Tucson today and he was just wonderful! He was patient and understanding as we went back and forth on what we wanted, what we could afford and didn't bat an eye after completing the paperwork on one vehicle only to have us change our minds and start over with another vehicle. I felt terrible about the inconvenience to him, but as he explained, he just wanted us to be happy and satisfied and we are! Thank you, Zach! Jason, the General Mgr and the Finance person were great too!

Best experience with Brad!

My husband and I were in the market for an Impreza hatchback but had not had much luck. I called all the local dealerships to plant a few seeds for when someone came across what we were looking for. Brad Hansen called me within 24 hours with something we were interested in looking at. He by far provided the best car buying experience. This was our 6th Subaru purchase, and Brad and I both had a good "no BS" understanding. Personality alone gets this guy 5 stars. Have already recommended him to many people. If you're looking for a relaxed no hassle kind of experience, go in and ask for Brad!!

Rude phone gal

I called to talk to the parts department and a Very rude and unprofessional woman answered the phone. No courtesy or kindness from her whatsoever!! She hung up on me 3 times and all I was trying to do was get to the parts department! So I do not advise even trying to buy a car from here!! If the gal answers the phone in a rude and crabby tone, who wants to do business there??

Things started off well. The salesman was friendly, not pushy and well informed. Strangely, the experience got worse as we closed the deal. I originally wanted a white car, but the dealer did not have one on the lot. He claimed to check a 5-state area and found no white vehicles equipped as I wanted. He went on to say that Hyundai does not make the Veloster in white with a manual transmission. Out of curiosity, I checked my computer when I got home and found this is absolutely not true. It may have been easy to pull that move before computers were invented, but it's not hard to see what other dealers have for sale online... Including several in the same state that had white Velosters for sale with manual transmissions. This dealer flat-out lied to us. Furthermore, we got no less than three different answers from three different people to the question of whether the warranty is transferable. Salesman: "Yes. It's transferable." Finance manager: "No. Not transferable." General sales manager: "Yes, it's transferable but only to an immediate family member." While we're no the subject of warranty, we got a litany of differing answers about the 5 year/60,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty. "Does it cover everything, say if a door handle breaks or a radio knob falls off." Salesman: "Yes, absolutely. It covers everything." Finance manager: "No. It probably wouldn't cover that. But if you buy our 'wrap warranty' for an extra $2000 it would be covered." Us: "What if the engine breaks inside the 10 year/100,000 mile warranty period; would that be covered." Salesman: "Yes. Absolutely." Finance manager: "Probably not. It's a limited warranty and there are all kinds of loopholes." General sales manager: "It would be covered." When we said, "You're talking us out of buying this car," the finance manager said, "Fine. If you don't buy it someone else will." Our experience encompassed everything people hate about buying cars: fast talk, bait and switch, outright lying, and that feeling you're getting ripped off. These 1970s sales tactics have no place in 2012. The lesson for this Hyundai dealer is this: They are great cars. They sell themselves in most cases. Just get out of your own way. In the end, we bought the car in spite of the dealership, not because of it. They were the only one in town with the car we wanted in stock. We were very close to walking out on the deal 3 hours in to the paper work, and looking back, I wish I had - just to make a point. We like the car, but will never spend another dime at this dealership.
