  • Fraudulent advertisement

1 out of 5 starsby John Doe on 07/03/2024

Dealer posted a Tesla Model 3 as being a Performance model, but it was only a Long Range model. The Recurrent report also said it was a Performance model with Dealer's picture. It is not easy to tell if you are not familiar with Tesla- the differences are subtle. Sales manager sent me a video and was self proclaimed Tesla geek that has owned 5 Teslas. No way it was advertised wrong by accident. He did admit it was a Long Range when I asked, but I would have drove 1.5 hours to find that out if I even knew what to look for in the video, or worse could have been tricked into buying the wrong model.

I set up an appointment to view a BMW, and had all my ducks in a row financing-wise, and was planning to drive the car home, but when it was brought around, it was dirty, and on top of that, had a sopping wet trunk. The tire tools beneath the trunk floor covering were showing rust....this had been going on a while. The brake fluid was old, and it didn't appear the oil had been changed lately. I am a mechanic, and would have probably taken the car had they acknowledged the issues and made me an offer with the problems in mind, but they didn't, so I left. Would not recommend these guys.

  • Worst Car Buying Experience

    1 out of 5 starsby jsmgb4300 on 09/19/2017

My experience with this dealership was the worst car buying experience I have ever had. I purchased what was suppose to be a "like new" Super Charge Range Rover. The car was delivered and was not in the condition that it was represented as being online. It had more miles on it than what was shown on the odometer statement. There were numerous chips in the paint and the check engine light was on. There was no manual, no paperwork and only one key. I had to then wait to have my car repaired before I could even drive it. The owner of the company was not responsive and did little to resolve the problems I experienced. The last straw was when the the dealership submitted for financing but failed to tell Wells Fargo I was titling the car in my company name. Wells Fargo sent a notice to Unlimited Motors in mid July providing notice that the title needed to be corrected. Unlimited Motors did not forward the correspondence to me until mid-September. After I asked Unlimited Motors to correct the issue with the car loan that they initiated, Unlimited Motors responded by email that the car would be repossessed and they would have the Dept of Licensing investigate me for theft of a legal document. The theft apparently occurred when I titled the car in NC in my company name. Really the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a business.

  • Terrible experience

I bought a used Dodge Durango with a broken computer screen. It took them six weeks to fix this. However, this long time is not their fault. What I am upset about is that not once during this six weeks they called me to explain what is going on. Furthermore, they either did not answer when I called them or forwarded me to a number that did not take my call. For six weeks, I paid for the car but was not sure that I will ever get it. When I finally got it, it had a crack in front window. They promised to have a local company contact me to fix it. For two weeks, nobody called. Only after I called Unlimited Motors again, this time very upset, did they act to get the window fixed.
