Bait and Switch, False advertistment
by JerryCra on 06/06/2021Dealership had a SUV advertised online for $34,450 plus rebates, when I arrived at dealership they stated they have increased most new vehicles to $3,000 above MSRP. (Market charge they said) I understand there are not many new cars and you… can increase prices, but you cant advertise then change. Bait and Switch. They made it seem all Dealerships were doing it, talk to several next day and they are not. Today on Andy Mohr Chevy website, their own advertisement has one MSRP listed but the sticker price which they provide you on their website states has different MSRP. This seems borderline illegal as 3 other Dealerships told be today, and they could not believe what they were Seeing, Luckily Hubble Chevrolet knows how to take care of their customers.Malibu

by caschaber on 10/12/2010I just purchased a used car from these [violative content deleted] on Sat.(three days ago). When I got it home I locked and went in the house pretty happy with the purchase. A short time later the car alarm goes off. Weird. I hit the remote… key and turned off the alarm. 30 minutes later it goes off again and again. You get the picture. Well I take it in to them and after losing a half of days worth of work I find out that the car's BCM is defective and it was going to cost me 500.00. Yikes really? After raising a stink and threatening to return the car they first offer to pay half of the cost. I said no way I had this car for two hours and it is defective. Then they told me I could not return the car. These guys are con [violative content deleted] BEWARE!I bought a new Cruze from Andy Mohr Chevy and these guys busted their humps to get my business. Gave me finance options, filled the tank when i picked it up, even help me set up the OnStar. The big thing was they called me to ask if needed a ride to the dealership to pick up the car. I'm happy with Andy Mohr.

by deb115 on 12/05/2013updated 08/28/2025I was very pleased with my purchase. My salesperson "Keri" was very knowledgeable about the vehicle that I purchased, and the whole experience went pretty fast. Thanks Andy Mohr ChevroletAndy Mohr - 5 star dealership on paper - 2/3 star in reality.
by maverickcole on 02/16/2012updated 08/28/2025I shall start with the positives - as I must give credit where credit is due! With prior credit issues (Bankruptcy), Andy Mohr was the only dealership that could get me financing, and they got it quick, easy, and with no hassle on my… part. Now, unfortunately the reason that I know this is because I had already been warned by 3 family members and at least a half dozen other people NOT to go to Andy Mohr, being told consistently that they have terrible customer service and service department. Therefore, I had attempted to get financing at 3 recommended dealerships first, but went to Andy Mohr after they managed to get it and have everything ready in less than 24 hours. Very impressive. That was where the impressiveness stopped. It was shoved in my face, when I bought the car, and via countless phone calls, that I MUST check 5 stars for ALL survey questions about the dealership or they will lose their 5 star rating. It was done so frequently, with no other reason for the call, that I stopped answering calls from the salesman. Basically, I felt like I was being intimidated and threatened if I didn't. It is apparent now that this is the only reason they have the 5 star awards from GM. When I picked up the car they filled up the car with a full tank, did a quick clean, and setup the OnStar. They talked me out of the 'full' prep by telling me that it would take 3-4 hours. I'm pretty sure I would have wanted that, but I'm not sure what it entails. When asked, the question was somewhat avoided, answering only that they would clean it a little more and that it wasn't worth the wait. After purchase: Immediately I had several issues with the car. Minor issues, such as the temperature gauge reading 10-15 degrees off, the fuel used reading 10% lower than actual (creating false MPG readings), some wind noise from the driver door, and the most important - the car dying at stop lights with the AC on high. I called OnStar about it a couple of times to run the onboard diagnostics - both of which came back fine. I scheduled a visit to Andy Mohr, where I explained in detail all of the issues. Once they were done with the car, they called me and told me it was good to go. I left and headed to work (out of town). On the way I read the service report. 1) Nothing on the report was stated accurately. 2) They didn't fix ANYTHING!!! All they did was word everything to make me look like I didn't know what I was talking about and make statements that everything was fine. A simple example: I asked them to add more air to the tires since the weather was getting colder and they had already dropped 4 PSI. The service report read: Customer stated that the tire pressure was too low and the low air pressure light was on. Their description of service performed: No air pressure light on, no problem - no adjusting needed. All 7/8 items on the list were similarly handled. Completely inaccurately written description, and no service performed, with the exception of an oil change (that I paid for) and an update to the car's computer that the report specifically said I asked for. The update was to take care of the car dying, however that area of the report read that no issues were seen on the test drive and it functioned fine. But then read that I "asked" for the Technical Bulletin Update to the computer (which I didn't even know it existed). Basically - the service department ONLY took care of the items that they get paid for, and proceeded to try and make 'me' look stupid for all other items. To give you something to understand the magnitude of how bad it was, I will explain one other issue: - I stated: The "fuel used guage" reads 10% less than the actual fuel used. A full tank uses right at 10.5 gallons of gas, but the guage reads that only 9 gallons were used. - Service performed: Test drove the car for 5 miles and the odomoter and fuel used showed the car had went 5 miles and that fuel was used. Functioning properly. They drove the car 5 miles and determined that the fuel used guage was performing correctly because it showed fuel was used??? In 400 miles it's only off by a gallon and a half!!! - of course it's going to say fuel was used. In case that isn't enough information already - I must add that any time I would call the dealership, no one was pleasant to talk to and my salesman would act like he didn't have time for me and didn't know who I was. If he called me - he sounded like he was my best friend and he remembered everything about me. Therefore - it is without hesitation that I highly recommend that you do not purchase a car from Andy Mohr! Unless you want a new car and can't get financing - and plan to have all issues and servicing done elsewhere (which is rude to the dealership that didn't get to sell you the car, so I recommend you give that dealership a chance first), then don't go to Andy Mohr. Even if you want a specific vehicle that they have in stock - other dealerships will trade them for the car you want - as that is what I had arranged until I couldn't get financing elsewhere.
