84,000 mile service and check a pulsating break problem
by Don Ayres Honda on 07/22/2025The car is a 2021Honda Insight purchased from Don Ayres a little more than 2 years ago. It has required nothing other than standard Honda maintenance. This time was again, standard maintenance, except a complaint of intermittent shudder… under braking. This was diagnosed as corrosion on the front brakes. With the front rotors resurfaced and the corrosion repaired the car stops better than when we drove it off the lot! It was noted that we were close to the fuel injection service and that was also done at this time. David Salmonowicz has been our Service writer through the time that we have owned this call and he is always courteous and requests confirmation of any necessary repairs and keeps us aware of how the service is going and when we can pick up the vehicle. Oil Change after first 2 years

Matt Hill, Best Salesman Ever
by Colette Parker on 06/18/2025I have purchased 5 CRV autos from Don Ayres. Until now I wasn’t sure about purchasing any additional autos from Don Ayres. Last year I purchased an ‘25 Envoy Sport CRV. After driving it for 9 months, I wasn’t sure of the mechanics of the… battery and the issue of not having a spare. Being alone, the thought of possibly being stranded really bothered me. After I consulted with my son, he told me to look. I went right to Don Ayres. I asked for my salesman and was told he wasn’t working that day. I had many questions and this (new) guy was happy to help. He answered my questions about my ‘25 (things that were not discussed at the time of purchase). I told him I’d go home and reconsider my decision to get rid of the ‘25. He said my guy would be in the following day. I decided that night that Matt Hill was the person I wanted to deal with and purchase my vehicles from. So I returned the next day and bought my new gas powdered CRV from Matt Hill. He was the kindest, most honest and personable salesman I have ever encountered. I could go on and on about Matt but suffice to say he is the best and I and I feel honored to have done business with him. When I took it in he asked what else they could do for me and I mentioned an oil change and new windshield wipers, which he said they'd definitely be able to do. Later in the day I got a… call about a tire having a bubble on the side wall, and he quoted me on 2 and 4 new tires but I decided to look elsewhere. When I called Dainen back letting him know I'd pick up my car to take it somewhere else he was able to get with his manager to get me a deal to make it more convenient for me to get the tires replaced at the dealership.
