First BMW Purchase

Overall a great experience. Brendan was very knowledgeable and made the whole experience quite painless. As a first time BMW purchaser, I was expecting a premium experience and Brendan delivered. Highly recommended and I’m looking forward to doing business with them in the future.

  • BUYER BEWARE - DISHONEST AND MISLEADING BUSINESS PRACTICES

    Do not, absolutely do not, visit or do business with Laurel BMW of Westmont. They run the most dishonest and misleading business I have ever dealt with. Let me go over my story so that no one ever makes the mistake of visiting this dishonest business. I purchased a used BMW from Laurel BMW of Westmont. Prior to purchasing the vehicle, I asked to see the prepurchase inspection and asked what service this vehicle will need. My sales person informed me that all of the service was completed on this car and it needs nothing. The car had a valve cover gasket leak but he told me they fixed it and even went over the cost which was around $2,000 (they did a brake job as well). The sales person made me feel confident enough and I went on to purchase the car. Three months later and after 3 trips to a BMW mechanic (including 1 time where I had to have my car towed off the highway) totaling around $1,500 in repairs, the BMW mechanic tells me I have a valve cover gasket leak and that all of my issues have been caused by this leak and to fix the valve cover gasket it would be upwards of $1,000. I called Laurel BMW of Westmont and told them I am having an issue with the gasket leak (which the sales person told me they already fixed) and expected Laurel BMW to repair this free of charge due to the fact BMW warranties all parts and repairs for 2 years. Anyway, the service manager calls and tells me that they never even repaired the leak prior to me purchasing. The sales person lied to me and told me the leak was fixed, when in fact it was not. This has been a nightmare and led to thousands in repair bills. The sales manager called me and told me there was nothing they could do. They would not admit what they did was wrong. They committed AUTO FRAUD. They are not making right on their mistake. Now I will have to exhaust all efforts to get this resolved, most likely in court. EVERYONE, LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES AND DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE DISHONEST PEOPLE.

    Vesna, the sales officer has been extremely helpful and very pro-active in the entire process of me leasing this car. It is for her, that i bought this car...it is nice to see BMW's employees are also as the brand itself. Perfect!

    Purchased a CPO vehicle. Kristina and sales manger were great to work with. Fair and no pressure salesmanship. Very professional and down to earth. Let them know what you are looking for and they'll find you the right car. I would highly recommend a visit to this dealership before you make your next car purchase.

    The team at Laurel BMW of Westmont is quite simply amazing. I purchased my 428 Gran Coupe over a month ago, and am still receiving calls to ensure everything is going well. This is my 6th BMW, others purchased at other BMW dealerships, and all pale in comparison to Laurel BMW of Westmont. I flew from NY to Illinois to get this car, that's how much an impression they left me with. Special thanks to Pat Womak, Terry Mancuso, Mike Adler, and Jason Saxton, great job guys, keep it up!!

    We were shipping for a new convertible to lease. We stopped at Lauerl of BMW first. We were greeted by a greeter and she found an available salesperson to work with and we met Lily. Lily, was great to work with. She was knowledgable, she listened to our needs, answered our questions, she was professional, and a pleasure to work with. We went on a test drive and Lily explained the features and benefits of the car and spoke to us after the test drive. She made sure our questions were answered, she have us her business card and followed up with us via an email. We came in a week later to purchase a vehicle. We were happy with the overall experience, it was a pleasant experience. We walked away, happy and relieved because there was no hassle. The car was present to us clean and detailed. Lily, our sales person went over every aspect of the vehicle and made sure to set up our keys and how to operate the Vechile. I love working with someone who is passionate with their products they sell and represent. She welcomed us to call her anytime with questions or concerns. We had a positive experience and we love working with this dealership.

    came in to look at the X5. we were greeted upon entry with a friendly smile and hello followed by helpfulness in finding the car we liked. Our rep Barry Levsay was very attentive and made the whole process enjoyable and smooth. It was a pleasure doing working with him. I would recommend this dealership and sales rep to anyone.

  • Used BMW purchase

    Do not purchase a used car from this dealer. I found a nice looking 2003 540I that I was serious in purchasing to find out that the vehicle needed over $4,000 in repairs after I had my mechanic look it over. This is after the salesman, Tony Alonso, told me that their mechanics looked the vehicle over, and showed me a checklist of items that were checked over and that the vehicle passed their internal inspection. This is nothing but deceptive sales practices at work. I was completely disappointed and walked away without purchasing the vehicle. Do yourself self a favor and do not buy a used car from this dealer unless you want to risk purchasing a serious lemon.

    Recently purchased a x6 from Vesna. She was incredibly patient to work with and understanding of my needs. I asked her for numbers on a different options going back and forth, but she never got frustrated. Ultimately, ended up leasing the vehicle and we are loving it! I've had some bad experiences with dealers but this was the most pleasant experience I could have ever had.

    I just purchased a new BMX X-5 at Laurel BMW of Westmont (AutoNation) with the same and ultimate satisfaction of I have received in purchase or lease of 3 other BMWs from Laurel. From the sales staff through service and purchase of accessories, I know that I can count on Laurel for all of the needs for my "Ultimate Driving Machines". I found Laurel BMW after the purchase of my first BMW and decided then that I would never go anywhere else for my buying, leasing or servicing needs). They are friendly, prompt, thorough and always provide me with an experience that brings me back!

    My Parents were in the market for a 2015 BMW X5 and also considered competitor vehicles such as the Audi Q7. I had emailed several BMW dealerships in the area to set up quotes and configure pricing, and it was here I was introduced to salesmen Terry Mancuso. I initially went to Patrick BMW in Schaumburg, IL and had a very dishearten experience. So much so, that my wife and I made the decision NOT to buy BMW. While I was leaving that dealership, Terry reached out to me and convinced me to come in and see him. His professional, kind, and courteous demeanor convinced me to give BMW another shot. He explained they would go above and beyond for the customer and would force no commitment like the Patrick BMW salesman (Alan Murad) was doing. As soon as I stepped foot inside the dealership, I was greeted by everyone there. I asked for Terry and was walked over to his desk and was even asked if we wanted to something to drink. I knew right then and there this was going to be a different experience. Terry greeted us and explained their philosophy at Laurel BMW. I was extremely impressed by his professionalism and gallant manner. He worked hard to find the vehicle we needed and wanted. Terry negotiated an out-the-door price knowing full well we were not going to buy that day. This was a large and important purchase for my parents and we needed time to think things over. I was also introduced to Mike Alder, manager at Laurel BMW. He came over and greeted us politely and even lowered the cost for us some more. I told them I needed a few days to think about it and would contact them to let them know my final decision. They were absolutely fine with that and put no pressure on us. After a day or so discussing it with my family, my parents decided to go with Terry and Mike and purchase a 2015 BMW X5. It was not only the price negotiated, but also the overall experience I had at Laurel BMW with Terry and Mike that sealed the deal. They went above and beyond their call of duty and provided outstanding customer service. As first time buyers of a luxury vehicle, I was taken back at how much they cared to take care of us every step of the way. Even after purchasing the vehicle, they continued to reach out to see if we needed anything at all. I assure you, they have made customers for life from my family and I. I have recommended them to all my friends and co-workers and will continue to write reviews on every social media outlet to inform the public just how wonderful Terry, Mike, and the dealership is. They are truly an asset to BMW.

    Just wanted to praise our salesman Mantvydas Rupsas for making our expierence buying a new vehicle quick and painless, especially with 1.5year old running around the place. He explained the process in detail, did not rush us in any way, even though the day was busy for him qnd answered every single questions we had. My family is a bmw family and definetly will be back for another vehicle in the next few months.

    Great experience working with Vesna, Michael, and Jason. They are helpful but not pushy, totally low pressure. They handled a road bump with grace and utmost professionalism. We price shopped online, requested quotes from several dealers through Edmunds. Laurel was the second dealership we visited. Vesna called me minutes after online query and went through color options with me. She's very knowledgeable on her products, explained options clearly, helped us with fair price on trade in, and stayed late to orient us with the new car. Price negotiation was civil and courteous. Great experience overall!

    The best car buying experience yet! Ordered a new 428 with Reno and it arrived from Germany weeks later. Reno's communication and advice was outstanding. Can not say enough great things about him and the entire purchase process. Even after the purchase he still follows up to make sure all is good. Highly recommend Reno and Laurel. Will not buy another car anywhere else!!
