Brand new vehicle, cut wire, many mistakes, very frustrating
by bodo2014 on 12/20/2024I'll share my experience and perspective. Purchased a 2024 F150 Lariat. During the finance process they messed up the city, zip and county on the registration during the plate transfer. Also had the wrong address info on the tax form as… well. After driving to work for the first time I came out in the evening to see one of the DRL lights around the log light not working (on a brand new truck). Service looked at it the next day and asked if I had a mouse problem because they found a chewed wire. I informed service I had reviewed pics of the truck on their lot the night of the test drive and the light is out. So he then acknowledged it at least happened on their lot. The wire to me did not look chewed. Also, where's the quality control? Service also confirmed Brake Plus was not installed on the truck, but it's a dealer installed option I had to pay for worth hundreds of dollars. I tried to talk with someone about this but they had me sit for half an hour before I walked out. I've tried to contact the GM and he has not responded. This cost me approximately 140 miles round trip, 12 hours of PTO at work and not to mention the hundreds of dollars they took from me for an option that was never installed.Hi, we are so disappointed to learn of this situation you have described. Niki, this started on 11/22/24, so we’re 5 weeks in. Cleo has already been involved and I’m guessing it was her that was responsible for refunding the $349 a week ago for the dealer installed option I paid for, was said to be installed but never really was. Took long enough though and should have happened the same night it was confirmed not to be installed but your guys in the authorized personnel only office were only worried about another sale and not about me as they let me sit there 30 minutes after being informed of the concern. The refund was appropriate but doesn’t satisfy all of my concerns. If you’re truly interested in rectifying all of my concerns, the dealership knows what my expectations are.

For example our truck had breaks and routers replaced and transmission work done. Our salesman… Jeremy Lucas was the best. Becareful if your interested in used
by Jay2016 on 09/23/2023Went in and was interested in a used vehicle they had , test drove two of them , picked the one I liked , the key fob was broken and all taped up , was told I can just by another fob shell case myself, they were suppose to look into a… second key fob but yet have yet to hear about it , the electronic tailgate would not come down , said service dept would have to look at it but since I'm buying a used vehicle they probably couldn't do anything about it , I found the problem myself , it was just a connection issuse that took less than 5 minutes to plug it in all the way and it works now ,every question I asked , I just heard , well it's a used vehicle, I don't about it cause it used , then sent me home with the truck and said I was approved but couldn't do no paperwork yet cause of a issuse on lender's end , Then come to find out I wasn't approved on that Saturday but then went back in and I was approved on that Monday according to finance person , but the salesperson sent me home that Saturday telling me I was approved and this thing happens all the time . I feel if I was buying a brand new car treatment would of been different, going into it I already know buying a used vehicle they really don't care about you as much , atlases that's how I felt . The used vehicle still had a price tag on it around $25000 . Regardless if your buying a $25000 used car or a $80000 new car , your still a customer walking through there doors , only reason why I picked there was because I heard people say , they treat you really good and they aren't like the usual salesman, but I never felt that way .Jay2016, thank you for sharing your honest feedback. by Disappointed on 04/08/2021I thought it was wonderful at first, and then the red flags started to slowly appear. For starters, the car I was shown had keys with a tag that said 2013, the sales person told me it was a 2013, and I had no idea until I went to do… paperwork it was really a 2009. That is a big difference. But year didn't make a deal breaker as long as it ran well. Second, there was a dent in the side as they had just recently gotten the car as I was told. I asked if the dent could be removed if I purchased the car. I was told without a doubt yes. I was told if I purchased the car that I could bring it back in for a detail and to remove the dent. The tire light was also on which again I was assured could be corrected with purchase of the vehicle. No sooner did I leave the dealership the engine light came on. I immediately text my salesman as soon as I arrived home to inform him and request can it be delt with as well since it wasn't even ten minutes after leaving the lot. I was told absolutely for that as well. Come the day we arranged for me to bring the car back in, I dropped my car off on a Wednesday morning 8AM. I heard nothing from anyone until late that evening telling me they were swamped with car sales from the weekend still but would get to my car first thing the next day. Come Thursday I hear from service dept that afternoon to inform me that I was not in fact getting the repairs, just a quote for them which turned out to be almost $2,000 worth needed already on the vehicle. This did not include the dent or a mention of the dent not being removed still. My car was STILL not ready until the following day on Friday. I had to have someone else pick it up as I had to work so did not see my car until that night. Upon arriving home I discovered that the dent had not even been taken out. I tried to talk to my salesman who told me he would try to see if they could fix my exhaust repairs at the least and that is the last thing I heard. This has turned into the worst car buying experience I have ever had! I went through a dealership to finance and build my credit as well as ensure I could get a reliable car to transport my 4 kids in. Now I'm left with a car that needs thousands of dollars put into it not even a day after leaving the dealership and no contact to try to correct that. They only cared about the sale money not mine or my children's safety or reliability of a car.Purchase of new transit connect.

by addy2016 on 06/30/2016Our 2013 Focus had a recall issue involving one of the car's computers. They re-flashed the car and after that was done we were called and told to come and pick the car up. We went to start the car and the battery was dead. Then when the… car was started, the navigation screen was blank and nothing worked through the screen. The service advisor then told us that they would have to repair the screen and programing. After that was fixed, we went to pick the car up and the service advisor then told my wife that she owed Landmark for the repair. Remember, this was for a repair for a recall; Landmark messed the car up and then expected us to pay for their mistake. We have all of the documentation to prove this. I have five other Landmark horror stories but they're not worth the time detailing how bad they are. Landmark sells on price. You get the best price around but the worst service around.Sirius XM Antenna Fix
