  • Bait and switch

    Don’t believe any price you see on their website. Typical bait and switch. Many other reputable dealers out there to choose from. Saw a new Frontier for $26,494. Called and asked if that was their sales price or were there stipulations like having to finance through them. Was told no that was their price minus taxes and fees. I was 100% ready to buy that day already had loan approval. Get there and I’m told that the price was over $32,000 out the door and that online price was only if you qualify for all their discounts and that almost no one qualifies for them all. Got up to leave and of course they want to deal now took some off the price but nowhere near what they advertised. I walked and went to a dealer that doesn’t screw you around with fake prices just to get you in the door. Bought from the other dealer same day. Before they get on here and say it was a misunderstanding it was not, I specifically asked when I called about the price fees and discounts. Do yourself a favor go some place else. It will save you time and money. Don’t support shady business practices.

However, we do follow Truth in Advertising which is basically Illinois advertising regulations. We do have the incentives broken out on our website - what the price includes and what isn't included. There's an asterisk right under the price that says not all qualify for conditional offers. I'm sorry the experience was a waste of your time. I'm glad you ended up finding the deal you were looking for in the end, I'm sorry it wasn't with us. Please take care!

    Once I approached the front door i was warmly greeted by Gino an excellent and experienced Salesman, carefully listed to my wishes and requirements for my new purchase, did absolutely everything in his power to get me the car I wanted, aside from what I had to do on my end to get the deal done, best car buying experience I've had.

    I went in November to buy a car. I ended up buying a used 2008 Nissan Sentra. Mike, the sales guy with a huge scar on his face/ neck was my salesman. I test drove the Sentra, only a short distance, because Mike said we couldn't take it far from the lot, it wasn't until I did research later that I learned that is a crooked sales technique to keep you from finding further issues with the car. I was given the guarantee my vehicle had the 120 point inspection and the ONLY issue was a bad rotor on the rear right wheel. $2000 later, I had to have the entire front suspension replaced, and it was a bad wheel bearing not a bad rotor. In addition, because of how bad the front suspension was, my wheels were fighting eachother in the sense that both the front wheels were pointing inwards, and both the rear tires were pointing outwards. The fix for that cost $75 per tire for them to put a wedge between the hub assembly and the tire. I also suspect they switched out the factory tires and put some cheap tires on with hubcaps instead of the factory wheels with rims. Don't trust them with your money, if you buy a car from them make sure you do your homework on the car you are buying or you will end up with a piece of junk. [non-permissible content removed].

    Never had I encountered such an incompetent staff in my life. I have purchased many cars before, and never expected this level of service, or the lack there of, from a NIssan dealer. They sold us a rat infested (new) car, and the only thing they handled well was giving us another vehicle, which took 5 trips to the store and as many days. When they initially sold us the car, it obviously wasn't inspected by anyone, as the rat infestation was very visible, as soon as the hood was opened. They also did not give us a "sim card" which contains the maps for the navigation system, so that wasn't functional either. All of this I can understand to a degree, but the worst par of the experience was dealing with the sales managers. Zach actually was helpful in the store, even though on the phone he was very "tough", but Brian should not be a sales manager. I am ashamed that I purchased the car from this team, but just didn't want to deal with this any more, as I had been looking for a new vehicle for weeks. Do yourself a favor, and go somewhere else.

We totally understand why you're feeling so negatively about your experience here but I can assure you that your experience was an isolated incident. Unbelievable that a rat took housing in your car but apparently it's common, but thankfully, not for us. I understand that between the dealer and sales managers, they were able to make right all that went wrong. I do hope you don't judge our entire company by this one experience.     My experience at South Holland Nissan was excellent my salesman DENNIS D. was very helpful to me. I would really recommend people to buy a car at this dealer. I have bought many cars from different dealers, But this dealer beats them all. They even work with you on your down payment if you don`t have all the money at that time. U should check them out. U will love it.

    Very good experience. The dealership was very friendly and I enjoyed working with the general manager. Not my typical experience in a dealershp I truly am happy with my experience.
