She got me a courtesy ride back home to marinate my meat before the… 4th cook out and sent the courtesy car to pick me up when my car was ready. by Eugene on 06/19/2025If you’re looking for truly bad service, look no further, Zeigler Cadillac is your place. Today, I had the displeasure of leasing a new XT6 from them. The entire process took nearly 5 hours. The cars they advertise are not available,… they’ve all been “just purchased.” There’s only one finance person, so everything drags. When it was finally time to take the car home, we discovered it had no floor mats, wasn’t cleaned inside, and hadn’t been washed outside. The sales guy didn’t bother checking if the car was ready, he just handed us the keys and walked away. No walk-through, no features overview, no help setting up a Cadillac account, no explanation on how to remote start the car, nothing. It’s still stuck in demo mode and we’re figuring it out ourselves. To top it off, he gave us dirty floor mats from another car. He didn’t even give us his contact info, no business card, no phone number, not even a last name. Just a first name and a headache. If I hadn’t wasted the entire day and already signed the paperwork, I’d have walked out. You’d think a Cadillac dealership would maintain high service standards, but clearly, they stop caring the second you sign. Safe to say, we’re beyond disappointed.Great service.

Wait time was as expected and the team kept me informed. This is the only… Cadillac dealership I will have my car serviced at.Lou Lopez was great!

I went to a dealership reluctantly, as I'm sure most folks relate to, but I was very pleasantly surprised at how well it went and how… each person really did a great job with their piece of the process. I can't say it was 'quick'....but it was thoughtful, responsive and they got me in the vehicle I wanted at a price I can live with. Zumreta was so helpful over the phone I had a lot of questions and she was quick to work around my busy schedule. She also scheduled me to an awesome sales rep who… gave me all the info I needed to make my decision about my big car purchase. by Deal Hunter on 09/03/2022I had all but given up on the Cadillac brand, I bought my new SRX 6 years ago and have only 33,000 miles on it but so far the brake assembly had to be replaced, some valves had to be replaced, and this really upsets me, the timing chain had… to be replaced that’s supposed to last about 75,000 miles. But Robert from the Service Dept. cane thru each time and was extremely helpful with each situation. I am in the market for a new suv and thinking not to consider the Cadillac XT5 and instead look at the Lexus 350, but Robert is in the way and not sure if any other dealerships are lucky enough to have a Service Technician like him. Sometimes it’s not the brand but the service behind the brand that’s important.Thank you for leaving us this great review! Illegal practices. Unethical management.
by Vic on 04/13/2021Illegal practices with illegal mandatory warranties and fees increasing the price by $4499 (before standard fees and taxes are even added). The salesman NICHOLAS MAGNUSSON, said he was going to have to "speak with his manager" to find out… the final price for the vehicle. Upon returning, NICHOLAS MAGNUSSON said I MUST purchase an extended warranty for $2499 and a reconditioning fee of $2000, along with other fees and taxes even for a cash transaction. He claimed the reconditioning fee was for the conditioning necessary after they purchased the car from auction. BS. The warranty and reconditioning fees are the ones that I explicitly argued against, as they seemed contrived and unnecessary. I made it aware it was a deal-breaker for the warranty and reconditioning fee be mandatory. I immediately went home to find out if it was even legal. I discovered it was not. I am reporting it so that this dealer is held accountable. I have also filed the issue with the Illinois Attorney General to ensure further accountability. It was a one-stop shop for all of my questions and made car buying a worry-free experience. I also feel that I got an exceptional value and was… offered a high level of customer service. by Sally on 12/18/2018Once again, I am very disappointed with Zeigler Buick Service. This is not the first time I have had difficulty dealing with this place. I stopped in for a car wash and after 45 min of waiting, I went to see what the problem was.… Apparently, no one told the service guys why my car was there. No one had cleaned it. I had told the "sales"guy when I got out of the car, and was told to tell the woman at the desk. I did tell her. Such a poorly run business, no one cares. Only good person working there is Luis, who went out of his way to clean the car. Too bad he is not the manager, maybe it would solve your problems!Met and exceeded expectations
by Dunwoodytoolman on 09/18/2018This is my first time coming to Zeigler for service. It was time for an oil change and tire rotation on my 2009 Enclave. I keep my car in very good condition and is mostly dealer serviced. After the service I drove the car home, but heard a… hum, a sound that I've never had in this car. I called the service department and returned. The service advisor told me that she knew that one of the tires had some extra wear and that was probably the cause of the noise. I asked to have the rotation reversed and that I would be willing to pay for this extra service. Within about twenty minutes my car was ready and I drove home, again. With the tires in the original positions there is very little noise now that I know how to listen. I was not charged for this extra service. I am very pleased that Zeigler made this extra effort to please me. I am very satisfied and will return.
