Very satisfied with my truck purchase

by pokermike on 07/18/2010I purchased a car last week from Peterson Chevrolet and did I get a pleasant suprise! I had told my salesman that I was would be coming in to buy the car I had previously test drove later that day. When I got there he informed me the car… was placed on sale between the first time I was in and later that week when I called and said I would take it! They gave me the sale price(which was almost two thousand dollars less!) They could have just as easily removed the sale tag and I would have never been the wiser. They also threw in a free oil change! These guys are honest and straight up , I would suggest that anyone considering buying a car give them a shot at your business. They are not your run of the mill car dealers! All and all it was the best car buying experience I have ever had. They get 5 stars from me!!!Tom Camis

To begin with, it's all about the details when I… deside to purchase a new and expensive automobile. The negotiations on price were very fair and considerate so I bought a new Corvette. Tim really knows his stuff and has been very good about helping me setup all the bells and whistles in the car. Norm took care of all the paperwork so I went away with a good feeling about this dealership. I'm stingy with my praise but I won't hesitate to give them an "outstanding" rating.. The only dealership that has received my repeat business is that of the Peterson dealerships. The repeat business was twenty years apart, but,… nevertheless, the experience was comparable. That is, just like previously, the negotiation and eventual deal established I felt was fair. As I had already done my research online prior to this last purchase, I felt both the price of the vehicle and value eventually granted for my trade-in were very fair to both the dealership, and myself. I didn't feel high pressure, and the sales people were, at all times, courteous and respectful. Even when I declined the extra cost items offered after the deal was established, I did not feel like I was being pressured to accept them. About the only negative I can give, is just the amount of time required to complete the deal I perceive to be excessive. My wife, and I spent about four hours at the dealership to test drive, negotiate, and transact the whole purchase. This amount of time is not out of line with other new car purchase experiences I have had at other dealerships, it just seems like a lot of time in general. I have spoken with friends who have related the same general complaint regarding a new car purchase.First-time Buyer
