Like robots who would not listen
by corecase on 07/21/2013updated 08/03/2025First of all I would like to say I am an educated buyer. I research a car and what fair market value for a car should be. With that being said, We went to Nalley to purchase a brand new Honda Fit. Our salesperson was a polite young man but… every response was robotic. I asked about the warranty and was told it was 100,000 miles....which I knew was wrong. They tried to force some sort of paint protection the our salesperson said was done at the factory but is now being charged to me as a dealer added option. He told us it helped the dealer sell cars because of acid rain. I was thoroughly confused....how could this come from the factory with such a coating but be charged almost $800 for it at the dealership? I told the Salesperson repeatedly that I was only wanting to focus on the price of the car...to which he responded with...how much am I putting down?...what do you want your payments to be? are you financing through Honda? Time and time again I said lets focus on the price of the car and then we will worry about the rest. He then came back with a paper with a price....how much I would be expected to put down..what he thought my credit rating might be and how much a payment would be.....I folded the paper up and gave it back to him telling him again that we needed to focus on the price of the car. Again he repeated everything he learned in training..I told him I knew what the True Market Value was. He wanted to know how and where I obtained this info. I told him....His Manager came back with a printed paper that was incorrect. He also wanted to know who the car was for...who would be driving it and what it was going to be used for. I told him that has nothing to do with the price. He then asked what I wanted my payments to be....and again said that has nothing to do with the price of this car. We went through this for another 30 min. We were paying cash for this car but since the Salesperson and Manager couldn't get beyond their robotic training they lost a sale.Nalley Honda Team is the best

He wasn't trying to pressure me into buying a car and wanted me to be happy with the car… I got. Anthony and Nick also looked out for me. not the worst experience, but not the best either...
by joecarbuyer on 06/17/2013updated 08/03/2025i had what i thought to be a fair deal setup on a new vehicle with the internet sales department. i told them that this would be a cash deal, & that i did not want to spend a lot of time sitting around going back and forth over this and… that. they said "no problem, we can have you in and out in about an hour." long story short, three hours later they brought out the "four square" document that had all kinds of figures and interest rates and so forth. i told them that i was willing to buy the car at the pre-arranged price & not a penny more. finally, at about 10:20 pm, i was headed home. the next day i discovered remnants of the plastic covering still left on the car, so i spent a couple of hours removing that. i have had plenty of much worse car buying experiences, but also many better too...Firstly, thank you for your feedback. Don was very laid back and not pushy at all, which made the whole transaction stress free. Everyone from the finance manager to the sales manger were very… nice and easy to deal with. The only complaint I might have is that we spent a little too much time waiting to finalize our transaction. To be fair, we were in on a Sunday and they seemed a bit understaffed (I imagine a few folks called out that day). There were a couple small things that were missed when the van was detailed (I'm VERY nit-picky, so I spent about 10 minutes when I got home getting it the way I like it) but overall it was in great shape. Just like any other dealership they try to sell you add-ons like paint protectant and extended warranties, but that is to be expected. Once I said, "No thanks" that was pretty much the end of the conversation. No one tried to strong-arm me into something I didn't want. I really appreciated that. Overall we enjoyed our time at Nalley and would recommend dealing with Don Peters if you stop in.I am so glad that you had such a positive experience at our dealership and, especially, with Don. I do apologize for the lengthy wait-time that you experienced and thank you for bringing it to my attention. When I went to see the car, he kept us waiting for 15 minutes and sent us to another representative. Then they told us… that they just got a call from the seller that morning and the car was not for sale any more. This is not true at all!! It's over a week since I visited their store and that car is still in their listing. They just tricked you to go to the store. The worse part is the experience with the other representative who was very unprofessional with cars. He wasn't a little bit sorry about the car we wanted was not available. He had a hard time pulling out information about alternative cars we could see. He just threw out questions, scrolled down ten pages and told us that only cars available were at "affiliated stores". When we were disappointed and wanted to leave, he made us very uncomfortable by blocking our way. He even mocked us for looking for cars online. Worst experience with dealer ever!Thank you so much for taking the time to review your experience at our dealership, as well as for bringing these issues to our attention. World-class service

When I went to the dealership, they honored the online price plus they gave me money for my trade-in. My sales person,… Thomas W., made the entire experience as stress-free as possible. I had a question about the tag fees since GA was going to a new system. The manager, Leroy S., took time out of his schedule to call me personally and explain the difference between the old system and new one. When I told the guys how much my 5 year old son loved cars, Mr. S. gave me a bunch of Honda pamphlets and brochures for him. He loved them so much they would sleep with them. Now I understand why people would brag about the Nalley experience and what the commercials were talking about. It is a world-class facility with world-class customer service. I appreciated his service. i am disappointed that as a returning war vet that no mention or no discount was offered. I will not be recommending my Marines to come to Nalley,… but I will recommend and tell others to go see Mr. S. and Nalley Honda. Great experience! We never want any of our valued customers to feel like discounts owed to them were overlooked. Although discounts were applied to your purchase, you did not receive a Military Discount because a Military Discount requires that you be an active member of the military and finance through Honda. Service second to none

He also explained how my car had sensors to let me know when the services were due and… what the codes meant. Mr. T. also looked at coupons that I had received via email as well as service vouchers that I had purchased and recommended which ones to use to save me the most money. Dealerships have a reputation for overcharging its customer. I can honestly say that the service department at Nalley Honda breaks all stereotypes. Not only are they knowledgeable about your vehicle, but they go above and beyond to try to make your service experience a delightful one. I make my appointments online and they honor them. It's a world-class facility.Great Service

I was immediately met by Don P. who met me with the statement "How may WE help YOU! And… it just got better from that point on. Debra H. is an outstanding Manager and she will definitely get the necessary wheels turning to make certain the customer has a wonderful buying experience. Robert H. stepped in as if on queue to assist me with paperwork while Don completely a sale with another couple. And I honestly have never seen a Finance Manager as nice and professional as Ray G. He suggested some warranty options and payments to match my budget. I left that dealership with a beautiful pre-owned Ford F150 and the most incredible car buying experience ever! In fact, I didn't even go back to pick up my car that was at the other dealership needing repairs. This is truly a dream team. And the definitely CUSTOMER ALWAYS COMES FIRST! From the get go these guys wanted my business and did what needed to be done to make it happen. Our… point man was Shemar J. and he made our time at Nalley both productive and enjoyable; he's a great salesman. He knew all the answers to our questions and the answers to the questions we didn't know to ask. Overall, this goes down as one of the easiest and most pleasant car buying experiences I've ever had ..really.
