I had a wonderful experience purchasing my new vehicle from Southtowne of Newnan. The entire staff was helpful and pleasant to work with. The entire process from finding, test driving and purchasing the new vehicle only took about two hours. They were all fast and efficient. I will definitely purchase more vehicles from Southtowne of Newnan.

    The service agent Bob Scott was rude and doesn’t listen. I returned to pay for service and pick up my SUV, he became upset after I informed him several of the services were covered under my CPO warranty. He insisted I meet the gentleman out front to get my vehicle after paying. I repeatedly told him my SUV was on the side yet he didn’t listen. I had to wait 25 minutes for the employee to search their overflow lot with my keys in hand before he realized Bob sent him To the wrong place. I went back twice to speak to Bob while I waited and he was unhelpful.

    Stephen Murray, SouthTowne Estimator and Brandon Hallmon, GEICO Field Adjuster working together made our experience with the body repair of out 1998 Buick LeSabre very pleasant and easy. The job was done in a timely manner, and we were told of any problems and time extensions that may have been a problem. Both worked very professionally and expeditiously in getting our car repair completed. Thank you both.

  • Otherwise good purchase experience but missing OEM Colorado ZR2 Equipment

    SouthTowne Chevrolet Newnan, GA Deal# 627411 Stk# 2B60838 Cust# 292197 I come from a family of steadfast “Ford only” truck and van enthusiasts. Having previously owned 2 Ford Econoline vans and 2 Ford F-150 trucks, the brand indoctrination was so effectively rooted within my psyche …I had never seriously considered purchasing any other make of vehicle. Fast forwards to RV ownership, with a desire to tow a compact utility vehicle behind a motor home. The FMCA 2022 Towing Guide noted that of just a few options among mid size trucks, the Chevy Colorado could be towed. That opened my eyes to the possibility of a test drive. I didn’t expect the simultaneously resilient/plush well-controlled ride of the ZR2 Bison, (on which the Multimatic shocks truly constitute, a game-changer). The cab comfort and appointments felt unexpectedly high-end for a less than full sized truck, and the sound insulation was a pleasant surprise as well. I’m getting slightly better mileage than the published EPA average (20 MPG), which is a few MPG better than my last F-150. Daniel, the Sales Representative, his Sales Manager and the Finance Officer were all very helpful and easy to work with. I have just one disappointment, with my purchase process and this representative of Chevrolet …which unfortunately, is not an insignificant matter. An informative post on the FB Chevy ZR2 owners forum, made me aware that my ZR2 Bison truck was sold to me …INCOMPLETE. EVERY standard ZR2 is supposed to roll off the dealer lot with protective rock slider rails mounted beneath the chassis (just below the door jambs). But my ZR2 (with $5K upgraded Bison package) is oddly missing these protective chassis components …and this somehow escaped notice by the Sales Team and the detail staff …with nobody from the dealership providing an explanation for the missing equipment, I had already paid for. I confidently believe that once this purchase defect is realized by Southtowne, they’ll make every effort to make it right without charge. Once resolved I’d have no reservations whatsoever in recommending Southtowne, and considering another Chevrolet purchase in the future, as well. A copy of this feedback request has been forwarded to Southtowne Chevrolet.

    • ** Update on my review Yesterday I was very encouraged by 2 phone calls I received from the SouthTowne dealership. Mark, Sales Manager, seems like a gentleman whom is genuinely committed to resolving his customers needs …am impressed by his prompt outreach. Madison from the Service Dept was really friendly and helpful as well, in working around my schedule. Was pretty ‘blown away’ at hearing I’d been provided with a priority service appointment (occurring tomorrow) during which the missing OEM parts will be installed without charge. (Things are definitely looking up!) ** I will provide a further update after the service appointment is complete.

    I've bought many new cars and trucks over the years from other dealerships, and I've come to dread the hours waiting for finalization of the purchase, allowing me to get on with my day. This was NOT my experience with Southtowne. With no advance notice or arrangements I was in, picked a new car with no sales pressure, and was out after securing a deal with which I was very comfortable, all within a very short time. Southtowne provided a great experience with exceptionally knowledgeable personnel, all with a customer-oriented service style. I would recommend this dealership to anyone in the Tri-State area area.

    William Warren does an excellent job in the Service Dept. He always keeps you advised on the process of your service. William will advise you of an issue and give you your options and the advantage and disadvantage of them. I have dealt with William since buying my first vehicle from Southtown. He has always giving enough information and gives time to decide on which options to take.

    Had a little battery issue all of a sudden and Preston was AMAZING at fitting me in on a crazy busy Monday! I thought there were lots of other problems but he was calm and assured me that it was just the battery! Awesome service people!!!

    Our sales assistant was absolutely the best! Ross Ables knew the vehicle we were inquiring about and made the process so easy and no pressures. He sincerely wanted us to be happy and completely satisfied with the vehicle we purchased. He explained and set up all the electronics in a flash and with ease.

    My car broke down in the evening when they were closed. I dropped my car off that evening and the next morning they were calling with the results fixed it within an hour and i was ready to go. I love this place. I take all my vehicles here.

    James and Scott were amazing. We came in late but james went out of his way to listen to what I wanted and to find what I wanted. He stayed well past closing time to ensure we drove out with the car I Wanted. Greg made the paperwork for financing a breeze. He explained in detail and answered all our questions. Even though it was well past closing time on a Friday night,i never felt pressured or hurried The service department didn't miss anything in making sure the car was detailed properly. Great experience.

    I went for a recall check: Lower Control Arm Weld. I thought I would have to wait hours, I was there for about 1 1/2 hr. Thank goodness the recall did not affect my car; for the last two years the only place that service my Trax is Southtowne. The staff are professional and the prices are competitive compare to other service shops.
