Worst Dealership Ever!!
by Timdogg2425 on 06/21/2018I purchased a car on March 6,2018 from Conyers Nissan dealership. I was told the car was a 2016 Nissan Versa S Plus and which that is what was listed on the Buyers Guide as well. After reviewing the paperwork I realized there were 4… different trim levels listed. Each contract has a different trim listed on my loan, agreement to insure car it says S.a, gap insurance has Sl and the tag & registration paper that was sent to my States Revenue has S S Plus (which that's not even a trim offered) I called Nissan Consumer Affairs to see if they could tell me what trim I had using my vin number. The information they gave me is a trim that's not even listed on any of the paperwork which is a S 5m ( 5 speed manual transmission). The car trim I have is less expensive than the trim listed on the registration sent to Georgia Department of Revenue. On March 10, 2018 I went back to talk to the sales rep and he told me that I have the right model the only thing that makes the car trim a plus model is that it " has manual locks & windows". He told me to wait & he would show me the other cars that is the same. I seen 2 other cars that had Versa plus on the buyers guide with manual locks & windows but after researching online I found that what makes the trim level a "Plus trim" is car comes in automatic transmission and a spoiler which I have neither. I received my tag & registration in the mail and it clearly states on my registration I have a Nissan Versa S S Plus. After another call to Consumer Affairs they connected me to someone at the dealership and she told me that her paperwork has the same trim level listed , she told me she would have to get the general manager to call me because it was beyond her at this point. The General Manager Troy Burnson keeps telling me he will call me back and never does, while he was out having surgery no one at the dealership will talk to me I went back twice and all I got was the run around. The Federal Trade Commission states the buyers guide should have the correct car spec. And the buyer receives the buyers guide which I didn't. I have tried to convince everyone at the dealership my car isn't a Plus trim and even after showing them the Monroney sticker that consumer affairs emailed me I've gotten nowhere!!! Nissan Consumer Affairs informed the General Manager that the car trim for my car isn't a Plus level but there's been no attempt to resolve the dispute. I have filed a complaint with the FTC & Georgia Consumer Protection which they determined there was enough evidence to open an investigation. I did not receive my Buyers Guide at my time of purchase for this car and a 2010 Nissan Altima I purchased from them in March 2017. Thank youAndre LeBlanc was awesome!
by Squarenupe4 on 05/08/2017I went into the dealership to get service done on my current Nissan, but I had been in contact about potentially viewing a new Altima. I had already purchased the first car from Andre before, so we were already familiar. We took the Altima… on a test drive, ran the numbers, and actually ended up coming away with two new Nissans. An Altima for me, and a Rogue for my wife. Andre was professional, friendly, and courteous throughout the entire transaction. I'd recommend you going to see him if you're in the area and need a Nissan!Don't waste your time
by Deltamag on 06/06/2016I happened to stop by this dealership just to look one day but I found a car that I was actually interested in buying. The first clue that the salesmen were going to try to scam me was the salesman sent another guy to take me on a test… drive. I guess because I was a single female they thought that I was desperate as well. I ignored his advances and tried to keep the conversation on the car...did I mention that my mother was with me and he was very inappropriate in front of her. I told the sales person what I was willing to spend a month and offered $27500 for a 2015 Rogue that he says was $31,000. I was skeptical to have them run my credit because I wanted to use the credit union for financing but I reluctantly agreed. The original sales person takes over and he tells the other guy to go get the car. This is when I realized that they were trying to sell me a car other than the one that I test drove. At this point I have given them my SSN and they still run my credit even though I proceed.to leave. Two days later a manager calls to hear about my experience. I was at work so I did not give details just asked not to be contacted again. The next day the salesperson calls (I don't remember his name but I remembered his voice). He acts as if he is someone different but I told him that I knew that he was the person that I worked with. Furthermore, I had gone online after I left and saw that they were selling the same car for $27900...what I offered. Get this, he asks me what was wrong with him trying to look out for himself and make a profit. It is because of the integrity of the salespeople that even though the price of this car has dropped, I will not buy from Conyers Nissan.Surprisingly Pleasant Experience
by landscapali on 02/19/2016I actually despise the process of purchasing a new car. However, this purchase was a pleasant experience. Our salesman, Greg Stafford, appeared to be only concerned with helping us obtain the vehicle we wanted. He was never pushy or… impatient as we made our decision. In fact, everyone we dealt with was nice. I was also impressed with our financial guy, who having everything so organized, had us on our way in a very short time. We definitely selected the correct dealership from which to purchase a vehicle.Outstanding Sales &Finance team
by Free331 on 01/02/2016During my visit (12/26/15)... Although I had an appointment schedule, I was greeted by a friendly salesman. During my scheduled appointment with Kelvin P. he displayed patience, honestly and was extremely friendly. Never once did I feel… pressured nor rushed. When I selected my vehicle (2015 Altima) the deleuvery coach made sure everything was to my standards. The finance team manager greeted me and escorted me to the personal who had my paperwork. The time spent there was roughly 3-4 hrs but it was well worrh it. I highly recommend this dealership.Satisfied Customer to end 2015 year
by moore4me on 01/04/2016I would recommend Curtis Jones to help you with your car buying experience. He is upfront and does not hassle you in the experience. I had been in contact with Curtis since Oct. 2015, but due to a death in my family, I was unable to come… in at that time. He patiently waited and when I was ready, I went in for a test drive. I was completely satisfied with Curtis and his professionalism and knowledge. I would recommend him to anyone looking to purchase a car. I brought a New Car for the New Year!Family Oriented Staff
by slm41273 on 09/02/2015The staff at Conyers Nissan welcomed me with open arms, it did not feel like a car buying experience at all; they listened to me and worked diligently without pressure to provide me with information which was valuable to me! Vince is a gem… and I'd definitely reach out to him again, from Bruce (sales rep) down to Eddie (the account manager), they truly made me feel appreciated.Nice and easy
by jmpollett on 05/19/2015Conyers Nissan staff was very helpful and service didn't take all day for an oil change like other places.Fast, Easy, Painless
by 2015NissanSent on 03/29/2015I was very happy with my car purchasing experience! Within a couple hours, I applied, picked out my car, took it for a test drive, had it detailed again, and drove home!! My sales associate, BJ, went over and above to make sure I found the… right vehicle for me and he fought to get the car within my maximum price range. He worked out just the right car and just the right payment for me! I plan to recommend them to any friends and family who are looking for a vehicle and looking for a dealer who will work with their personal situation! Thank you BJ and Conyers Nissan!Red Nissan Coupe
by Gandeez on 03/07/2015I purchased a red Nissan Altima Coupe on 02/28/15. The sales service was comfortable and quick. I never felt pressured. I knew what kind of car I wanted when I walked in and they brought it right to me. Danny M. and William McQueen were… a super tag team. I walked in without an appointment and both of them had customers. Together, they made sure I was taken care of and my process kept rolling. My only issue was the detailing of the car. They cleaned it up on the surface. However, the previous owner's trash was left in several places. That's why I gave 4 stars instead of 5.Got what we wanted for the price that was quoted!!
by TechMom on 10/02/2014Conyers Nissan knew what we wanted (2015 Rogue SV FWD with the premium package), had it in stock, and gave us a written out-the-door price before we drove over to their dealership. NO GAMES!!!! This was by far the best car purchasing… experience.Great buying experince
by ladyg68 on 06/27/2014Went in for a oil change on my 2010 Nissan Sentra and rode out in a new 2014 Nissan Altima both cars purchased at this dealership and both times were great experiences.EXCELLENT SERVICE
by gatorgirl on 12/15/2009I was in the market for a vehicle for my teenage son. I spoke with Jerry at Conyers Nissan and he was able to locate a few vehicles of the type and price range I was looking for. We discussed the vehicles and I decided on which one I… wanted. I went to Conyers Nissan and found Jerry to be extremely helpful, courteus and professional. The whole process took less than an hour. Everyone at the dealership was extremely friendly and professional. I now direct all of my co-workers, friends and family to Jerry at Conyers Nissan!!!Conyers Nissan: AVOID THEM!!!! SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICES!
by msright1 on 11/23/2009Regarding my experience with Conyers Nissan 11/23/09. I see the Better Business Bureau already rates them with an F and has 11 complaints filed. I'm surprised Nissan would allow them to continue to tarnish their name and… reputation! "Wow- I sure wish I had investigated this dealership before ever calling them! Their reputation clearly preceeds them on the Internet & it is AWFUL! ... My husband and I have been looking for a particular vehicle and doing a lot of research and pricing comparison. We knew exactly what we wanted & what we wanted to pay. We found a fantastic deal on this vehicle as an "Internet Special" at Conyers Nissan. We decided that if the vehicle was still available that day, we were going to drive the hour to Conyers to purchase it after work. So, my husband called, and the vehicle had miraculously made it through the weekend at this great price & it was still available, so we made an appointment for 7pm to meet with Ernold (yeah, spelled with an E, but not sure if this is the exact spelling). Ernold told my husband (in retrospect, curiously) that he would call if the vehicle sold. My husband joked that it better not sell before we got there, good-naturedly but firmly. So, after a full day of work and a LONG drive in Atlanta rush hour traffic, we finally got to Conyers Nissan. Outside was a SWARM of used car salesman literally blocking the front door. We walked up and asked for Ernold, and some other man said "Oh, he's out on a test drive and I'll be helping you. He said you wanted to drive the Jeep Liberty." We said no, we were not there for the Liberty, we were there for the Xterra, and handed him the printout from their ad. He fidgeted and said "I don't know why he said you wanted to drive the Liberty".... Looking back, I see this all as clearly the build up to the bait and switch. So he has us come and wait inside. He comes back and says Ernold is out on a test drive in THE VERY VEHICLE we had driven an hour to come purchase. We waited another 10 minutes and I told my husband I wanted to walk the lot. Out front, interestingly, were some people who had just test driven a red Xterra...But the one we wanted was charcoal & it was not on the lot. Were those people bait & switch victims too? We waited outside and walked the lot. Only one car drove in and it was an Acura crossover. Then the salesman came back and said that the Xterra was SOLD. Now, how did this vehicle get sold when it never came back to the dealership? And how did it get sold when we never saw Ernold OR the SUV OR the purchasers? But, of course, the used car salesman had a printout of other vehicles for us to look at... NOT the great deal they internet advertised, since that car was clearly not on the lot, but others, including an Xterra that was 1 year older than the one in the ad and which had 5k more miles but was selling for the SAME PRICE.... Hmmmm. I told the salesman that I was NOT happy about wasting my time driving an HOUR to see this vehicle that I had an appointment for but was unavailable! He could see I was pissed & didn't even dare start on the page of crappy priced cars he wanted to "switch" with... And the "bait car" is still listed on a national auto trading website AND on their conyersnissan.com website!!!!!.... In short, I would not give them a penny of my money for even the "greatest" deal- they are unscrupulous. I work as a senior manager in the retail industry, and we all want to "make the sale", but NEVER at the expense of being decent and honest. These people are rotten. I had to waste my time (and gas- an hour there, an hour home- seething all the way) but YOU DON'T need to.... SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSEL AND SUPPORT BUSINESSES WHO PRACTICE FAIRLY AND ETHICALLY! I hope I can save you the frustration of being ripped off in any capacity. Stay away from Conyers Nissan!!!!" Ms. Right North Atlanta, GAUnprofessional
by AnitaO on 02/08/2014updated 08/02/2025I contacted Conyers Nissan via email to get a quote. They replied that on the vehicle I inquired about, they would discount by $4,400., so I decided to ride out there for a test drive. They actually showed me a slightly higher priced… vehicle, but assured me that they would discount the same percentage..after 2 hours at the dealership waiting for them to get a payoff on my lease, they told me it would be best for me to turn in my vehicle to the dealership where I leased it, pay the remaining payments and then come back and they would up charge the new vehicle by the amount that I paid off, and then they would write me a check for that same amount. In other words, I would not actually pay the upcharged amount. So, I told them to work up the best deal they could and email me. Imagine my surprise when they only discounted $3,640! I questioned this and received a call from another sales manager (whom I had not met) saying he made a mistake on the first discount. He seemed upset I was not wiling to accept this excuse. Rather, I told him I expected they honor the discount discussed with my salesperson as well as the sales manager I DID meet. No dice. I received a call this morning from my salesperson, apologizing and wishing me luck in my search. I would never have wasted my time had I known the do not honor their word.Anita, I understand you are disappointed by your recent experience with our dealership. I would like to discuss this matter with you personally so that I can get all of the details of your transaction. Customer satisfaction is important to us and your feedback would be greatly appreciated. Please contact me when you have a moment. Thank you and I look forward to speaking with you soon. Good Experience Here
by bpm2348 on 09/09/2011updated 08/02/2025I arrived at the dealership at about 6pm with a trade and left by 9. I worked with Dewayne and he was great. I insisted on a crew cab as my previous truck was an extended cab and it did not work with two 60lb Boxer dogs and a 12 year old… boy. The incentives offered on the truck helped a lot. I told them that I did not want an increase in monthly payment from what I was currently paying and they got me to within $7 dollars after I denied their first offer. Overall, they were very professional, answered my questions, and I got a really good deal. For people who bash dealerships, take somebody with you who knows what they're doing. If you don't know what you're doing, any dealership will make tons more money off of you because that's how they make their money. We came, we saw, we rode out...
by kmr4 on 05/15/2014updated 08/02/2025Great buying experience. Great service. The best sales staff. This is our 2nd car purchase. They must be doing something right. My best buying experience
by roberto25 on 10/09/2013updated 08/02/2025I have bought eight new cars in the last 18 years, and the last one in Conyers Nissan has been by far my best buying experience. I highly recommend this dealer. Especially the sales associate Louis C.
