by Lani on 10/27/2022I purchased a Honda Pilot from Shottenkirk Honda in April 2022. I was told by the sales and finance person that the first maintenance of my car was free. When I called today to schedule my maintenance, I was told by Shottenkirk that they… cannot honor what they told me since it was not done in writing. I purchased a $46K and it is unbelievable that they will not honor their word. An oil change is what... $50. The service dept mentioned that their Finance Manager has promised this first maintenance to other customers and got into trouble doing it. In addition, they sold me a car with an entertainment system crackling and popping which Honda knew is an issue. This leaves such a bad taste in my mouth. This is not the way you treat a customer.Waste of my time

by Pro on 03/25/2022Avoid this place if possible.. 100% unprofessional .. not honest ..they promised everything until they make a sale .. Sales manager with careless attitude, sale associates will promise you anything to get the sale but nothing deliver… ..definitively will not go back to that place .. and hope you all read reviews before entering this place ..good luck

To my surprise, I received a response from Tommy from Shottenkirk dealership. He apologized to me and he honored their word. He and his team went above and beyond, picked up my SUV, and completed the first complimentary maintenance. In addition, they checked my SUV since I received notice from Honda to bring my car in for an inspection. I lost one of my key fob which they replaced without cost to me (part of my warranty) and I did not have to be present to get it. After my car was dropped off, Tommy called me to explain what they did to my car and made sure that I was satisfied. Lastly, he offered to pick up my car to fix the popping and cracking of the entertainment system when the resolution is available in February. My confidence in the Honda brand is restored because Tommy from Shottenkirk. Thank you for honoring your word and caring about your customer.
