    I just have to say this since I have never experienced this level of truth from a dealership before. I bought a used suv from this dealership and told the sales associated I really couldn't afford anything that would require a lot of issues to be fixed. It's been two years and my vehicle has still had no major issues other than maintenance. I am so thankful for this dealership and the standards they hold. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for honesty and a good car.

    We spent about three months and visited nearly 20 dealerships searching for a pre-owned vehicle. John Harrison was by far the best salesman we encountered. We received a good offer from Sami, but ended up buying a different car from a different dealership. We highly recommend John Harrison at Jim Ellis Mall of Georgia.

    Great first car purchase experience with Kevin! My new wife and I spent HOURS over the course of two nights at another dealership close by, and then they had "lost" the car that we had driven an hour to buy. We hopped over to Jim Ellis with little hope of going home with a pre-owned vehicle. After 10 minutes there, a 10 minute test-drive, and then another 5-10 minutes at his desk, Kevin offered us a FAIR price and we bought the vehicle immediately! It was so refreshing dealing with someone who was honest and was not playing games or trying to sneak something past us to make an extra $500. He made the whole experience enjoyable. Highly recommend visiting the guys and gals at Jim Ellis!!

    Best car buying experience… I was treated with respect they didn't toy with my time I was in an out the door in about 45 minutes if that. the sales rep was great...finance person was great, the whole experience was great. this is the type a dealership that people only dream about… Or at least I did

    Jerry Howell and the Service Team work diligently to provide customers with the greatest level of service in sales and service!! We had an issue with a Yukon, it was corrected, but we lost confidence in that car and they were awesome with getting us into another vehicle! It's hard to find that kind of customer service these days!! Thanks!

    The salesman was very efficient and several times asked if there was anything else he could do, and whether I was satisfied with the service and handling of my purchase. I must say the whole transaction took far less time than I expected.

  • Jim Ellis sold me a lemon

    We bought a used 2011 Acadia and have had nothing but problems. We found out the steering wheel had a rubbing noise when we brought the vehicle home. The salesmen kept turning the radio up during the test drive. Now I know why. It was so obvious and loud with the radio off. What about the 20pt inspection. To their credit they did fix this when I brought the car back to the dealer. But it should have been fixed presale. After I picked up the vehicle for the steering wheel repair, I noticed the driver side air stopped working and the navigation system wasnt working. The serviceman said the problems were not related to the repair just coincidental. I brought the car back in and they repaired the driver side actuator and reset the Nav system. The nav system still didn't work so I brought the car back in and the nav system was replaced. The passenger side air worked through summer but around September or October the passenger side air went out. I brought car back to the dealer and was told I'd have to pay a $250 deductible to have the actuators repaired. I just bought this car mid February and a $2,000 warranty and I'm supposed to pay out more $. Again what about that 20pt inspection. Reluctantly, we decided to wait since we were going into winter. Next, a few months later came the navigation system again. It wouldn't work correctly. The serviceman said I had to have it in park for it to work! Ironically, with the car IN PARK at the dealer, I showed him all of the same programming issues I was having. He even took pictures of the Nav screen freezing up. They agreed to replace it a second time. Although the system is working, it is a mediocre system so I end up using GPS on my cell. Now I've had my car a year and the driver side air has gone out. Probably something to do with the actuators again. What will happen next? I would never have bought this car I'd if I knew I'd be making so many trips to the dealer for repairs! I contacted the service dept manager to discuss my frustrations with the car and the manager never called back. I called again a week or 2 later and left a message with the service mgr and again never a call back. Just blown off I guess. This whole experience with this car has been very time consuming and frustrating. I will never purchase a vehicle from Jim Ellis again. I gave 2 stars because everyone in customer service is nice and courteous. But actions speak louder than words. I bought a $2,000 warranty on this lemon. My decision now is should I dump the car or take it to the dealer to repair the air?

    We found everything about your dealership to be positive.....from the location, building facility, greeter at front desk to Don Wood, a fantastic person, to the service department. It was a joy to visit you and purchase a car. We were fortunate to get Don as our sales associate. Did I mention the low price we got, and good trade in? Prior to visiting you I had been on your website which was awesome. You all have the 'right stuff' and have your act together. You had an awesome selection to choose from. We just think you are great. And, I LOVE my new SUV.

    What a great experience! I came in today to trade in my three week old GMC Sierra 1500. I wanted to upgrade to the 4x4. The whole staff was excellent! I had the opportunity to work with a couple of sales people. They both were great and knew what they were doing. I came in yesterday and 1st meet with Ken Wang, he listened to me and tried finding another vehicle for me. It didn't take long at all for me to realize this was the right place to be. Once I walked in to talk numbers and to meet the rest of the staff they showed great customer service. I left them working out numbers and came back today. Unfortunately Ken was not available today so I had the great pleasure to work with Marc Truhn. What a outstanding guy real down to earth and did not haggle me or try to beat me up with questions. He sat down and within 2hrs Jim Ellis put me into the right vehicle for the right price. I kinda ate a litlle of the price of the last new truck due to the fact i had just purchased it. The payments went up and of course the interest rate as well but they tried everything to get me back to square one. I ended up with a perfect 4x4. Ken also on his day off heard I purchased a vehicle even came in when he was not working to thank me. They honestly did an outstanding job. I really appreciate and will tell all of my friends and will use them in the future. Also I would like to mention some other great staff they also made me feel welcome and who helped out the process. Levi Lewis, who did an excellent job with financing was very quick and knew his stuff. Bryan Rudow, who helped me out with the deal and talked about some trails I will have to do soon, Richard Nourie who had a hand in the numbers as well. Thanks had a great experience!

    Just the thought of going to car dealerships stresses me out. I am shy, not good at haggling, and panic when pressured. But we had a great car buying experience beginning to end! There weren't pictures of the car online yet, so Alan(salesman) took numerous pictures of the car we were interested in, and texted them to us. Everyone at the dealership was very pleasant while we sipped on complimentary chai, waiting for Alan to finish a test drive. Before we knew it, we met Alan and were taking our test drive. Alan was very nice, personable, informative, and never pushy! The Buick Rendezvous (which we ended up purchasing) was already priced a good amount below KBB's value. And we successfully negotiated an even lower price despite our lack of haggling skills! Not only was the price better than all the other Rendezvous we've looked at, but it looked a lot better than I ever could have expected an 8 year old car to look! And even though the purchasing part is over, Alan is still being helpful. He has mailed to me the contents of my trade in that I didn't find when cleaning it out. I'm very appreciative of having a car door opener, again! And he has contacted the previous owner just double checking that there wasn't a second set of keys for the vehicle. No luck but it was worth a shot! I definitely appreciated the laid back but professional atmosphere at the Jim Ellis Buick Mall of Georgia!
