  • Global is the worst

    I had a recall done back in Dec. of 2015 and a screw was left in the motor. My car has never ran right since and I am sure all of the screws were not removed. I now have metal shavings in my motor and they said it's because of a aftermarket oil filter. That like saying I have to run the same tires on the car that I had when I purchased it. Smh!!! Chose another place to take your car. Everyone I know that has been to this place says the same thing

    Jason did an incredible job getting my car fixed. He ended up having to fix both the fuel pump and the fuel pump controller. I'm not sure what that fix had to do with the transmission, but not only is the fuel pump fine, acceleration is amazing, but there was a little "hitch" in the transmission that is gone.

    Andrew Warner did an excellent job. The service was very good and the showroom and waiting are is perfect. $290 to balance the tires seems too high.

    We drove from Louisiana to Georgia to buy our car from Clint after he kept all other prospective buyers at bay waiting for us to get there! He is professional, personable and quite knowledgeable of the BMW line of vehicles. After driving all day, everything was ready for us to trade in our old 5 series and drive away in our new X5. A perfect end to a perfect day!

    I have never been that excited about using a dealer for service but could not get around it here. Have had a couple of not great experiences with service techs at Global that did a terrible job communicating. If I am to pay dealer prices I expect excellent service and that most times does not happen. My first time working with Matt was excellent. He was clear on time frame of evaluation and work to be done. Met those deadlines. Kept me current with progress. And as requested had car fully ready to go when I needed to pick up and go quickly. So while I am not happy with the costs of using dealers for service at least Matt made the service level where it needed to be for the price you were paying.

    Although there are closer BMW dealerships to my home, I will go the extra distance to have my car serviced at Global Imports. Their staff and customer service is attentive and goes out of their way to get to know you. I always get the personalized level of service that is hard to find these days. They never try to upsell me on unnecessary services, and I know that my car is in good hands when I drop it off.

    Global imports BMW general manager is a [non-permissible content removed], never responded to my emails and never concerned about their customers. I am very disappointed with the lack of knowledge they have in identifying and fixing the issues. I used to service both my cars 535xi & X3 at global imports. My 2009 535xi had an electrical issue that was causing a high battery drain and the car was taken five times to the dealer but the issue still remains. In spite of having extended warranty, I had spent about $1700 with no luck. Since the issue was not fixed I asked for a refund, the response was so rude that I will never service my other car at Global again. I ended up selling my 2009 535xi!!!!!

    Everything about my purchase was top notch. Browsed their online catalog until I found what I wanted. Contacted salesman Jonathan Lankford (awesome guy, btw) and told him what I was interested in and he immediately got the ball rolling. We worked out a few details and a few hours later I was sitting in the showroom filling out paperwork. It could not have gone easier. Absolutely beautiful showroom which is nice but the people are what makes the business and these folks have it going on.

    Very concerned with brand, car just three years olds, defective part needed replaced-over my 50,000 mile limit. cost over $800.00 to repair, will write BMW company. Serviceman suggested additional services not needed.
